The true test of a good company is how they handle situations when things DON’T go according to plan. Let me explain. I brought a rug in to be cleaned. My guess is that it was probably cleaned by a new employee still learning. When I took it home and looked at it, I felt it was done adequately-- but not exceptionally well. I gave the company an average review (not a bad review, but not a 5 star review either). That night, I received a personal email from the owner telling me that they wanted me to be COMPLETELY satisfied and offered to send out a technician to my house to clean my rug to my satisfaction (I had originally taken the carpet to them for cleaning). Since it was late that evening, I decided to wait until the next day to answer the email. The next day before I even got a chance to answer, I received a call from the office offering to re-clean the rug!! I was so impressed. The office staff could not have been nicer and the rug was cleaned to perfection. I really appreciate companies that excel not only in the services they provide but the way in which they provide them. I will forever be a loyal customer and highly recommend any carpet cleaning services. I will also be telling my friends to use them. It’s so great to know that there are really great companies out there! Thank you for your excellent work!!

Im new to the area and so I did a Google search and after several quotes, they were the best per square foot. Not only were they on time but early. They were VERY professional as well as polite and friendly. We all knew working with the old worn flooring would be difficult but they were amazing and did a GREAT job and the place smells awesome!! Right from the start rainbow did such a great job for us. Starting with the mitigation process Levi was wonderful he explained everything in detail he was on time and did a great job. He committed himself to getting the job done at a specific time and he did just that. As far as the repairs Kyle handled all the repairs. He was absolutely wonderful, communicated throughout the job right down to the finish. I was so nervous with the damage that was done to her home but Kyle kept me calm. I had to have some mold remediation done at my home. Andrew was on time, very professional and took the time to explain every detail. He identified additional areas of concern and addressed them promptly. I would highly recommend Rainbow and Andrew to everyone. Steve was my initial point of contact and from the first time he walked through the door to provide the inspection and the estimate he answered my questions and was very fast to get back to me if I called. By far one of the best experiences I have had with a company.

Carpet cleaning -- When I called the receptionist was very nice. I took a rug and a pillow to be cleaned. All the staff were extremely friendly. I was quoted $70 to clean a 6x6 rug and 1 pillow. Although I thought it was a bit high, I accepted the terms. Turn around is 1 week (I believe thats pretty standard). Unfortunately, I was VERY disappointed with the cleaning. I thought the spots should have come out during cleaning. At the least, if they were not gonna come out, someone should have let me know before I took it home that they were unable to clean the rug completely. The pillow was also not cleaned completely. While Im not going to call the company and pitch a fit, I will not be using them again. I was not happy with the work.

Bill Gregory at Rainbow International of Greenville SC was the general contractor to repair my house which was damaged by the April 13 2020 tornado in upstate SC. Overall, I am happy with the job Bill and his crew did for me. During the long repair process (lasted for about 7 months), Bill was very responsive to my phone calls, text messages, and emails regarding issues I observed or questions I had. He is generally reasonable and fair in quality control, which is important. Bill was also very hard working in getting the job done. For instance, he called me multiple times on Saturdays and late evenings about the status of the house repair or his plan for the next step. If there is anything he could have done better, some of his crew members could have been a little bit more effective/skilled. For instance, the person who fixed the damaged concrete curb could have made smoother connections between the new and old concrete sections. The person also should have removed all the concrete debris in my yard. Nevertheless, I consider these very minor issues.

Our dishwasher leaked and caused water damage to our hardwood floors in our kitchen. After calling Rainbow, Levi and Larry responded within a few hours. They handled the drying of the floors.Levi and Larry were great. Very responsive and answered all our questions thoroughly. They came daily and checked on the floors until they were completely dry.

Can’t say enough about how punctual and professional everyone that I worked with at Rainbow was for the water cleanup that we had done. I called Carter who immediately went to work on getting someone out to us. Oscar was at our home within about an hour of our original call and was always right on time for every follow up visit and was very thorough and knew exactly how to solve the problems that we were having. Jerry also was great in getting to us to walk us through the steps of repairing and putting back what the water had damaged. The guys at Rainbow are absolutely worth the call!

Rainbow international of Greenville was very professional and great to do business with. They took great care of my mom and dad and any questions or concerns they had were answered. Cleaning crew was great and emergency response was good. As soon as my insurance was hard to get ahold of i quit hearing from them. They charged my insurance for pack out pack in of my belongings before it was done. Still not done 4 mo. later. My case was lost between departments every time it switched through the fire restoration process. Every representative would be overly optimistic and tell me they could handle everything then would call to back out. Would not recommend if you have the least bit of a complicated case. If it is a simple water or fire damage I can see them being all you need.

I came home to water damage on the ceiling of my garage so I called Mr. Rooter whos sister company is Rainbow International. Levi was my service representative and he was amazing from the start. He was thorough in his documentation of the damage, got started with the drying process quickly, and took care of me when the source was found to be in my guest bathroom and damage was there as well. I plan on using Rainbow International for the rest of my restoration and would recommend them, specifically Levi, to anyone.

My house caught on fire August 2020 and I am still waiting to get in my home. My contractor has been working with Chris and I have text messages from him and my contractor where he says he will get to it when he can. I called Rainbow to speak with his supervisor and was told I will get a call back. This company has dragged their feet. I had to have another company come out and do the sealant for the smoke damage. This company hasn’t been professional in my opinion and with this pandemic going on, for their employee to say he will get to it when he can is outrageous. People are out here dying and all I want is to get back into my home. I was told my home would be ready by 12/01/2020 then it was moved to 12/31/2020. Now it’s 01/11/2021, my contractor and I are still waiting for Rainbow to make a decision when THEY want to come out to my home.

I’ve used Rainbow many times throughout my career in rental properties. Yesterday, I called them to help with a flood but ended up having to cancel because they were not on my company’s list of approved vendors. This morning, in spite of their not actually providing service or making money from us, they still called to follow up. The company we did use took 4 hours to arrive with two broken truck mount water vacuums. Needless to say, we’re starting the paperwork to get Rainbow added to our list of vendors.Rainbow. Our rental had water damage from dishwasher. They took a month to complete the job. Used our towels and vacuum, which were left dirty and vacuum full. Owner was disrespectful to my wife. Smelling like cigarettes, I cleaned this place myself Then said I had leave before job was done to go on Vacation . Left open wires in cabinet under inland which were still hot. We have 4 Young children. Had excuses for everything.

Fast and friendly service. We use them for all our carpet cleanings and water extractions. Great rates on ozone treatments! Technicians are always nice and very professional.

If youre using this company for mold remediation I would give it 4 stars. Rich is fantastic. However, my experience with the restoration/rebuild side of things makes me give them 1 star. After five weeks of no progress I finally cut my losses and fired them. I received the run around of when they would be starting. Then when I finally saw what they were trying to charge me it was $1000 more than another local option. When I asked for a detailed broken down invoice of the charges to see WHY such a large discrepancy, I was given the run around and then told I dont have time to break this down for you. Thats something that we dont do. Well a call to management got me the detailed invoice, but they had already lost my business by that point. Trying to overcharge, hide it, and then speak to me that way... Ill go somewhere else.

After what they did to my sisters area rug, I would never recommend them. They refunded her 50 dollars but she is still out a beautiful area rug. They even admitted in a text that they “Fired the guy that cleaned the rug because he didn’t clean well”..The right thing to do would be to replace her area rug. The manager Ward could care less about the customer. The lady that answers the phone is very professional and nice. Sad they can’t learn from her.

Ward and the crew of Rainbow International have been nothing less than Excellent and professional. I have been using them for 12 years and would not seek to find another carpet cleaner. Being in the real estate industry, I can not count on one hand how many times Ward and his crew have bailed me out of jams. Theres nothing like a good carpet cleaning to pick your spirits up especially when you live with three children and a pup! Ward is amazing! I have used rainbow for years at multiple properties I’ve worked at. He’s honestly the reason I choose to use them! Great customer service, reliable and awesome work!

We have a rental property in Greenville and hired Rainbow after we got water in the basement. The first time this happened the charge was reasonable so when it happened again we hired Rainbow without looking hard at other options. The second time around the charge was double. The bulk of the work involved carpet removal and they left the tack strips behind. We had to make a dozen calls to try and get them to come finish the work and they never did...kept getting stories about why they couldnt do it. Most of the charges however related to the water removal and fan rentals, the actual labor needed was brief then they put some fans on the floor and left for a few days, charging $300 per day, per fan. Living out of state we were kind of in a pinch to get the work done quickly but we will go out of our way not to use them again. I think they took advantage of us with the charges knowing we were not in town.To put it in context, we had tiles removed (using different Co.)from the basement floor (almost 2,000 sq ft) that contained asbestos and the total charge for that work was almost half what Rainbow charged for the water removal.Our mistake for paying them in full before having the work checked but do not trust these people to do honest work if you have to use them.

Had my carpet and furniture cleaned by Ward this week. It looks brand new again. Excellent service. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the worst people to deal with. They handled our home post fire and did a terrible job. We would have sued but the hassle was just not worth it. At one point, when discussing the issues with the owner, he point blank told me “what are you gonna do? You are nothing to us”. I would relay the entire story here but it is just triggering deep terrible memories of a god awful experience. Never. Ever. Use. These. Jokers.

This crew was very professional from day one. They were on time everyday and explained the process thouroughly. We had originally hired Servpro who were too busy to be on time (one day didnt show at all). Not a problem unless you have water damage and real wood flooring. However Rainbow stepped in and stopped the loss and got us back on track. I recommend this team. Luiz was our lead technician.

Very disappointed in lack of Customer Service and poor communication. They agreed to do water mitigation and restoration for our very wet, moldy crawlspace after a hot water leak. They removed bad insulation, set up dehumidifier and fans and left. No word on when they would return. After SEVERAL calls and 5 1/2 days later, they returned, shut everything off and left. No word on when returning for mold treatment. More calls and finally 4 days later, returned sprayed for mold, turned fans on and left. Again no word on when returning. That was Fri, returned Mon morning, said they were done, and that I needed to call the company ASAP to schedule the restoration of crawlspace. I was surprised it was up to me, the customer, to coordinate finishing the job. Many, MANY calls to restoration dept over next 3 weeks, every time saying very busy and we would get on the schedule. FINALLY, they called me and said they had decided NOT to finish the job, but instead gave me the name of a guy that could do it, NOT with Rainbow Intl. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Dont let this happen to you!!

A large dry fan and dehumidifier were left in my bathroom for 3 days.When they picked up their equipment, they left my wall in a disaster state, and threw away my baseboards (which were NOT infected with mold ). For the $450 they are trying to charge, I highly recommend seeking out another repair service.Edit: I spoke with Elliot prior to posting this review and he refused to replace the baseboards. Thanks for the response though.
