Love the staff! Whenever the office is open I bring my dog and they love to give him treats and good rubs! Convenient location to campus as well.
Ive been living here for a while and its a great place to live; its affordable; walking distance from stores and the staff are always nice!
Great location to campus. Sasha was very friendly and helpful in answering all of my questions.
This is a joke of an apartment complex. I have lived here for over 2 months now and they will not fix any of the damages that were here before i moved in. It is all on my move in check list and i have followed up on 6 separate occasions and they still refuse to fix anything. I have no running water in my bathroom sink. The shower is clogged. Towel racks are broken. And kitchen cabinets are missing. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH. Do NOT live here
The Bower is the most unprofessional, disgusting place I have ever lived. The only reason they have good reviews is because they give kids free stuff to post a five star reviews and make their staff do it as well. When we moved in our apartment smelled like it had a dead animal in the air vents which we were told would ‘take some time to fix’. Parts of the fridge and stove never worked, walls and floors were nasty and beat up, and nothing was ever fixed when we requested. Our neighbors had very loud domestic abuse issues causing us to call the cops over and over… and they left piles of rotten trash on their porch making our porch useless. ALL OF WHICH the bower states they could do no thing about… even though they had no issues threatening entire buildings by email that they would walk our apartments and add charges to our rent for other minute issues. After all of this… we move out and they conveniently ‘lose’ our move in papers documenting the damages that were there when we arrived and decide to charge us for things that we didn’t even do.DO NOT LIVE HERE
Maintenance Staff is slow. We have been Without hot water for over a week, and have not been able to shower, do dishes or laundry for that time. It took 3 days after first and second to put in a work order. Its frustrating paying rent for this place when we cant use half the thing in the dam apartment. Will be looking to move out when lease is up! Do not recommend! And this is on top of other issues have took forever to be fixed!AND When the Maintenance people did come to fix the hot Water. They claimed it would be good in 30-45 Mins and 4 Hours Later when we turn on the Hot Water. NO WATER Comes Out!VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! 😡😡😡😡
One of the most affordable complexes here at ECU for college students. They put their residents first every single time, and they’re extremely creative on all of their social media platforms. Every time I’m in the front office it’s always a welcoming and cheerful environment!
Ally is the best manager ever! She responds to emails and numerous questions from me and it very pleasant to work with during our move in at the Bower. Looking forward to working with her in the future!!
The Bower is the best place Ive ever lived. My unit is super cozy! I also love the staff. They are very helpful and friendly everytime I enter the office.
I lived for there for a year, it was the worst experience of my life, I had to sleep on the floor, black mold on the corner and multiple leaks. There was a leak on my ceiling over my bed, maintenance came and “fixed it” but it just leaked again ruining two mattress covers. So I had to sleep in the for for weeks because they never brought me a new mattress after I asked. Now they are trying to charge me for the mattress. I had another leak on my floor that took them weeks to fix, it was about 8 foot long in front of my bathroom door. The move in condition of the apartment was miserable, it took us 3 days of hard clean to get the apartment in decent looking shape. I moved out in March, the mildew in my ceiling was so bad I couldn’t stay there. They lost some of my roommates move in sheets so they are getting charged for things that were there before we moved in as well as me. Never move here, it was absolutely terrible.
It’s where the money reside, where the money reside! Rent is reasonable and friendly on my college pockets. After a semester of living here, I can say they did a good job matching me with roommates. We’re all randoms and have had zero issues. Office staff is very friendly too. It’s in walking distance to campus, but you can also catch the bus. Rent is reasonable. Staff is nice. Close to campus. Highly recommend living here.
Closest community to ECUs campus with the most affordable rates AND all-inclusive!
The Bower is very reasonable compare to other apartments in Greenville. The Bower is worth it because of spacious rooms including all the utilities. I moved to Bower in spring semester and my experience over here is indeed great as the staff is amazing and there are new activities often.
I enjoyed my time living here I was highly pleased not only with the apartment but the staff were also really helpful and always willing to go out of their way.
Such an awesome place to live, It’s in a really convenient area, you can literally walk to downtown, to the mall and to all the football games. It’s also one of the few places that still have a basket ball court. The staff are always nice as well
This apartment complex is absolutely amazing! The staff is very welcoming and they always have a great attitude and an upbeat personality whenever I come into the office. They are very thorough and helpful during the leasing process and very adamant about helping you if you have any questions. They are very close to the ECU campus and they also have a bus terminal that goes by there as well. I definitely recommend this place if you’re apartment hunting!
I have been at the Bower for 2 years and I love the Bower! The people that work there are really nice and willing to help you out with anything. The rooms are super affordable.
Very nice place to live. Rent is reasonable. Office staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend living here.
This is definitely a place to call home! Why would you want to live anywhere else? The vibe here is everything! Bower Staff and Team are always on point with work-orders, having amenities available and always have fun things going on and perks!!! Move-in Already!! love it here and its close to like EVERYTHING AWESOME!!!
Beautiful scenery, great access to campus, very friendly staff. All around great place to be with people who care.
This apartment is the best place to live at. It is super convenient when it comes to stores and the ecu campus and everyone is so friendly in the office. I’m guaranteed going to renew my lease
You can literally not find a closer apartment to campus for as low of rates. Its not as new but they are always so helpful and welcoming - you cant beat it.
It’s was very dirty on move in day and had I seen it prior to a lease sign I would never co signed. My son moved back home after only being there from August to October and there was obviously no discount and although we paid before the 5th each month we were charged a late fee because we paid on the 6th on the last month. So glad to be done with this place
I have lived in the same apartment for 2 years and recently resigned for my 3rd I love this place it has been a second home for sure it is cheap compared to everything around it, it is close to campus. All around great place to be. Any issues get fixed within a day or so I have never had any issues
The place is all thug and thugets just like all the rest they go damn near sec 8 to keep there occupancy up.
I’ve heard people complain about the Bower a lot but I’ve never understood why. I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. My random roommates are the BEST! When I moved in my room (and the whole apartment) were very clean and ready for me! There were some minor maintainence problems but once I put in the work order they were taken care of in a timely manner.Melissa and Maurice are the BESTTTT they make living at the Bower absolutely amazing and are so helpful! Whatever they’re getting paid they need a raise hahaha.
The Bower is great! The location is close to campus and the football stadium, and the amenities are great.
UPDATED: Maintenance Staff is slow. We have been Without hot water for over a week, and have not been able to shower, do dishes or laundry for that time. I have lived at the bower since May 2020. I signed my lease until July 2022 because of how convenient the location (for school and work), the price, and the management. Maintenance is attentive whenever there’s any problems, and management is provides great customer support (and they love my dogs haha). Overall would recommend to my friends (although I already have).
I no longer live here but the apartment was cool and spacious room!
I lived at The Bower for over a year now and before that I lived at their sister complex The Davis and haven’t had a problem with either complex since. I took my unit “as is” and was lucky enough to receive a unit that was in great condition! I always recommend my friend to move here if there looking for a place that’s affordable, close to campus and comfortable.
This is my 3rd year living at The Bower and I can say that Ive had a pretty good experience so far. I cant say that Ive had any problems that a simple work order couldnt fix. The staff here are extremely nice and caring everytime I have to visit the main office. Its always a really good experience when everyone there knows your name 😁. The amenities are also quite nice, I especially like the tennis court and the gym if I ever want a quick workout.
The bower is definitely in the process of a major turnaround. The new leasing manager is nothing short of amazing. Wouldn’t have referred anyone here in the past, but now I can say with 100% certainty, leasing here is a good decision.
Had an issue with my door key. The office just closed before I got there but Melissa stayed after and personally came to help me with my door and helped fix it for me. I could tell she really cared about residents.
You pay for what you get. Lived here for two years and it has only gotten worse. I’m begging you find a better place.
I have lived here for almost 2 years and I like it a lot. I have great Roomate’s and rent is super cheap. (I pay $329) Yes, you do get what you pay for in most cases, so we have had some issues such as clogged toilets, our ceiling is currently leaking because of the people upstairs, but the bower has helped us as much as they can to fix our issues. Staff is really nice in the office and I am overall happy with my experience here for the price I’m paying.
Great commute to campus with low rates. Really friendly staff.
They pay and gift people to give them 4 stars+, they are unorganized, run by pretty much kids in a playground, the owner is understanding and kind in person. If you don’t pay attention to the ridiculous and misguided and hypocritical emails they send you and just want a cheap place to live and that’s it then yea it’s a okay place to live but don’t expect anything else.oh and 2 months into your lease they’re going to harass you to resign your lease at your current rate or they’re going to rent out your room for next leasing period.
The staff is very friendly and helpful!! I just moved in not even a week ago and I love my apartment, they have good prices also!! They made it a very easy move for me and I love all my neighbors :)
Decent place to stay. Friendly Staff. I am not a fan of the Halloween Rules at all of only two guest and they have to get checked in. Those are definitely dormitory rules plus I haven’t heard of any other complex running their complex in this manner. Especially because I’m paying to stay here and one of my friends is going back to Fort Bragg that same night. I’m not sure who is in charge of this but I am highly upset about this decision. Roommate matching isn’t bad. But for someone to tell me who I can have in my apartment doesn’t seem like I’m actually living in my apartment. My thing about the Halloween situation is I’m going have to leave the comfort of my apartment where they are coming to chill with just 4 people smh.
This is my first apartment and I love it! Theres many amenities, the 4 bed 3 bath is spacious. You can make it all your own, put up anything and decorate as you please!
Awesome service! the staff has always been so friendly and helpful. for what you pay, the bower is a great place to stay
Materials are cheap but the walls are way thicker than most of the newer complexes. Also the apartments are clean and the staff is very friendly and willing to help you with anything. Great deal for the location and cheap rent
Wonderful place! The staff is amazing and they work to make sure your living experience is a great one!
The people in the leasing office are always nice and try everything they can to help you out. The students that live here are nice and don’t really have problems with anyone. The amenities are nice and close so you don’t have to go on campus to get in a quick workout or basketball session.
Maintenance is horrible point blank.
Can never answer the phone. Like how is it customer service if u always waiting.🤧😌
The bower is a great place to stay!! Super affordable and safe! The amenities in closes are great and the staff is always super friendly!!
I moved in about a month ago, and I love it! They are very involved with their community and do great give aways! The rates are low, the rooms are big, and great customer service!
Good place to live, mostly quiet and helpful, haven’t had any major problems, only minor occurrences that were fixed easily
Ive lived here for 2 years, its close to campus and they have very helpful staff. Melissa in the office is so great and willing to assist with anything!
I moved in, the beginning of October it was the first time I’ve moved out because i just turned 19 the second week of me being here, and the experience has been good so far, my roommates are polite and respectful, the units are roomy so u don’t feel crowded, the WiFi is free and we’ve only experienced one outage in the time I’ve been here it’s been great and I’d definitely recommend it to any student looking for housing
I thought I’d run into difficulties living at the bower, but thus far it’s been an amazing experience for the price
The rooms are big, living room is nice, and all the people who work here are very helpful. I really enjoy living here and it’s a great price for what you get.
The bower staff has been amazing at communication and helping me love where i live during this difficult time! love it here! i love living here and it’s been a pleasure to see this wonderful staff each day!
This is my first year staying at the Bower and it was a rocky start. Having classes start earlier put a hurt on most apartment complexes, but the team at the Bower was able to help with everything! The team is super nice and very helpful! I love the layout that I have and the location of the complex!
Very nice and friendly staff! I love living here at the bower. The location is perfect and everything is walking distance super convenient
The bower is an awesome place with little events always going on and good service from the staff.I enjoy living here!
Great location if you plan on going to ECU sporting events! They have nice amenities as well.
Affordable especially if youre looking for close proximity to campus.
The Bowers pricing is amazing unlike any other community that close to campus. The utilities and fully furnished units are awesome! Thank you!
The bower is pretty good if you are looking for an affordable option. The staff are nice and the rooms are good for what you’re paying.
Staying at the Bower is amazing, its a home away from home, the staff is very helpful and very quick with responding to any situation big or small, the rent price is really unbeatable, the location is literally near everything including campus as well as any store you need. Transportation is available bc there is a bus stop right around the corner. There are definitely bonuses to staying here like event nights and promotional events free of charge and not to mention the lobby has everything u need including a well equipped gym as well as an out door pool, this truly is a place created to be a pirates home. Oh and free internet!
The Bower is a great place to live!! The environment is very pet friendly and the staff is awesome and always do their best to help with your needs!!!
With two college students of my own, choosing a place for them to live while they complete their studies can be difficult. Working with the current leasing manager Maurice, assures a safe, smooth, comfortable living situation for residents and puts a parents mind at ease. The Brower is my first choice for student housing in Greenville!
I love the bowers atmosphere and the people. The employees are so nice and considerate. They are always helping and caring.
Staff is so friendly!! Always have exciting events going on to bring everyone together.
The Bower is the worst apartment complex to live at. The front office is terrible and will pretend like they care but will not fix any of the problems. The maintenance team does nothing yet they are always ‘working hard’ or ‘extremely busy. There is no communication whatsoever between the maintenance team and the front office. If you ever have a question or a concern, good luck getting a straight answer. I regret resigning my lease and discourage anyone from moving here.P.S. the only reason there are so many 5 star reviews is because the bribe residences with food or gift cards.
So far I have had an amazing experience with The Bower of Greeneville! Me and my friends decided to find a place last minute and they were so helpful and cooperative! I have called them many times with lots of questions and they have always been friendly and willing to help!
The Bower is a great space for people who want to be close and connected to the college especially the athletic side of the experience. It has been awesome not having to find/pay for parking for sporting events because of the close walking distance. They also host events and think of creative contests so that residents can get involved in small ways.
We’ve had problems since we moved in. Our unit was not checked for damage or cleaned up before we moved in, so we had to clean everything and throw away the previous tenant’s trash. Several things were broken such as one of the kitchen cabinets and blinds. Now a leak is somewhat flooding the unit. Maintenance came once and saw the problem and said to contact again if it got worse, which it did the next day. Since then we’ve put in 6 maintenance requests and nobody has come to fix it. I get that it’s student living and it’s cheap, but this is ridiculous.
Convenient because its close to ECU and shopping centers on Charles and good prices for what you get :)
Great prices and great staff. Location is within a somewhat reasonable walking distance to campus as well.
The employees in the front office are so nice, hospitable, helpful, and accommodating to guests!!
Nice apartments with plenty of parking, even a section for visitors. The occasional wine tasting events are definitely a plus!
Not a bad place to live. Most issues are dealt with pretty fast.
I’ve lived here for about 2 months now and the maintenance is great ! Always so kind and efficient! I love it here.
Great value and great amenities with very friendly and helpful staff
I love living at the Bower. Me and my roommates have made it a home. The staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious! Plus if you go to ECU it’s close to campus 😁
Close to campus and the space is great! Updated kitchen appliances and big rooms if you have a three bedroom.
I have loved my time here at The Bower both as a resident and an employee. I have never had any issues feeling safe in my home away from home and love being so close to campus. The bus stop so close by makes it really easy to get to and from campus since I do not have a car. Management has gotten 10 times better since I first moved in and I feel that any concerns are addressed in a professional and accommodating manner. I have always felt welcomed and have enjoyed this stepping stone into adulthood. I feel this all inclusive apartment complex is the perfect next step from the dorms or living at home.
This apartment complex is awesome. Maintenance always comes at a reasonable time and the rates are always affordable!
I have two daughters who go to ECU and both have lived at the Bower for the last 2 1/2 years. They have had good experiences with the staff and have always felt and been safe. As a mom its important to me that they were in a safe apartment and close to school. They were able to catch the ECU bus or walk. Plus theyre really close to the stadium and were able to walk to the football games. It is a very reasonably priced complex as well. We looked at several before choosing the Bower.
The staff and workers are amazing, living area is comfortable and also very safe! You can finally get away to paradise at the bower!
I love the fact that I can say that my experience at The Bower has been a great one. I am both a resident and an employee and I have always felt valued. As a resident, I enjoy being able to walk to classes (and the stadium!!!). Game days are so much fun because of that! As an employee, I appreciate that The Bower respects and works with my class schedule. Its really the best of both worlds living here!
Toured these apartments for my daughter and loved them. Convenience is ideal!!
A Great Place to Meet New People
It is a very friendly and also friendly staff. They have great amenities. If you have no printer or ink, computer room is always a spot.
This place is awesome! Great amenities and the staff always responds quickly!
The bower is my first apartment i’ve gotten and i love living here, the community is so nice and the staff are helpful in fixing problems!
The bower is a great place to live at with plenty of parking spaces, only 10 minutes away from campus. It’s a friendly great community as well. Definitely recommend staying here
Affordable rates, all inclusive & so close to campus! I love it!!
This place is the absolute worst place you could live. And please ignore all the 5-star reviews. The Bower offers gifts and money if you give them 5 stars. Living here has been one nightmare after another. When I first moved in it was super organized and I was actually excited to live here until I got to my apartment and my key didnt work. It took them over 30 minutes to get a replacement key so I could actually get in. And as soon as I got in it was such a letdown. There were dead bugs EVERYWHERE. Our air conditioner broke and it took them 3 days to come out and even look at it. Another few days had passed and we went back up to the front office and they told us the guy who came out and looked at it had no clue what he was doing. I had a thermometer in my room and it read 95 degrees. I had enough and went to the front office and complained about how this wasnt fair for us to live in and the guy up front then called me a dumb white bi*ch. My next nightmare was the mold problem. These apartments are covered in black mold. All the air vents, the furniture, everything. I complained multiple times about it because my roommates and I were getting very sick. I ended up having to go to the city to get it resolved. When maintenance finally came and fixed it I got yelled at because I complained to the city because it makes a bad relationship between the maintenance staff and residents. The floors always creak, the closet doors never stay on track, the furniture they give you is a joke, the showers are constantly clogged and the water stays hot for about a whole 3 minutes. This place is cheap but there are better places out there where you actually get what you pay for.
I can not count the number of ways that, The Bowers, has eased my transition to a new city for school! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! The management staff is always eager to answer any of my questions. The Bower location is extremely close to the university and gives me the extra few minutes to study or some extra winks of beauty sleep! Also, I shopped for days to find an affordable apartment complex that had amazing rates and couldn’t find one, till I found a The Bower. The Bower checked all the boxes!! Only downside, I’ll have to leave once I graduate! Thank you, Bower and staff, for all you do!!
The staff was so friendly and helpful upon my arrival. I felt welcomed from the moment i walked in. I could definitely see myself living here in the fall!
The Bower offers comfortable and accommodating places to live for students and non-students alike. Since I moved here in August the staff have been nothing short of helpful and friendly. Definitely going to continue my stay here until I graduate!!
Greatest place in G vegasssss
This place is awesome. The neighborhood is peaceful and security is great. Stuff and customer service is great. I could recommend it everyone. The only problem I have here is the allocation of roommates. It must be fixed.
Living at The Bower this year has been the best decision I made about my housing situation. It is convenient, the price is great, and it is close to the school (ECU). The staff are amazing and they are willing to help with any problem that may arise. I love that they have free printing because as a nursing student, I have so many documents to print, so I can either print the documents myself or send an email with everything that needs to be printed and I pick it up. Also, they have monthly events that engage the residents which I think is good because it brings people together.
