Ive been taking lessons with Greenville Aviation for about 3 months now and I am absolutely blow away by how great this flight school is. Compared to other local flight schools in the area, this is by far the best value and education for aviation you can get. Not only that, but because they are a Part 61 school, its extremely easy to schedule lessons even if you have a crazy work schedule or school schedule. The instructors are all amazing each with a different teaching style, so its easy to find an instructor that you personally can work with. If youre struggling with anything, they will make it their absolute mission to make sure you are 100% confident in your abilities no matter what it takes. The flexibility, affordability, and overall professionalism of this school easily makes it one of the best flight schools in the upstate in my honest opinion.

Greenville Aviation is full of so much passion and incredibly driven pilots and instructors. If you want to learn about aviation, earn a private pilot certificate, or even just take a discovery flight around greenville, I cant recommend them enough.My instructor, Walker, has been incredible too. For such a complicated activity, hes managed to break it down into very easy to understand material and helped get me farther than I could have imagined in such a brief period of time. An activity that went from dream to reality. Ryan is always on location diligently taking care of anything and everything related to greenville aviation too. All of the other instructors and pilots Ive met have been super informative and honestly, theres an instructor for every kind of personality.If youre on the fence, come by and try it out! Youll be hooked and before you know it, youll feel like family.

My Dad and I took a Discovery Flight and we had a great experience. Greenville Aviation has great customer service and communication. Our pilot was professional, thorough and asked us what we wanted to get out of the flight time. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in flying or if you are looking for an outside the box experience. We saw Furman, Table Rock, Lake Jocassee, Pickens and Downtown in a whole new way.

I got my PPL w/ Greenville Aviation - enjoyed every bit of it! Started with absolutely no experience and ended up passing my checkride with ease after only 6 months. My instructor Eroll as well as the entire staff were pleasant and accommodating. Hope to be back for the instrument rating soon.

The best flight school around. I have been to two other ones on the field but Greenville Aviation is by far the best. The owner is always cleaning the planes and making sure everything is good for the flight. The instructors are professional and genuinely care for your success. My 16 year old son did an intro / discovery flight with Ron Silva (instructor). Ron was fantastic with my son who is fairly quiet. He got him talking, and he let my son do so much his first flight that my son asked to do it again every holiday (it was part of his Christmas gift). My son would love to keep flying with Ron since Ron made him feel very comfortable, and my son has such a great time. The entire staff there was great from the very beginning. Definitely recommend!

Hands down the best flight school in Greenville, SC if not the entire state. The school has great knowledgeable instructions, the best prices, and a growing fleet. This is an awesome place, couches and TV to hang out, simulators, super large hangar, plenty of plane options to train in. It’s a nice towered airport with easy fuel. Upon finishing the lesson, you are towed back to the hangar. I rented the Piper Arrow to get some instrument training and cross country time, nice plane with a nice touch screen Garmin GPS (although no ILS approaches in this plane, I was ok using Localizer and RNAV approaches). There is an autopilot with altitude hold which is awesome. There was no overcharging on ground time, I will definitely recommend and return for future lessons and even renting in the future. A+++

I am a professional photographer with Reel Video & Stills and have worked with Greenville Aviation for well over 20 years. I have flown with many pilots and some are now flying the big jets. My flight today was with Ron Silva - my usual pilot - and it was one of the best experiences I have had. Highly recommend them for photo flights and Im sure they do a great job training future pilots.

Took an aircraft checkout flight with Ron. He is highly professional and definitely knows safe and proficient flying techniques. I always enjoy flying with Ron as he has a professional yet relaxed manner that puts students at ease and able to learn efficiently. I got my Complex endorsement from Ron Silva here a few years back. He was super professional and very informative. The school keeps well maintained planes that I never had to second guess whether or not we were going to have an in flight emergency in. Clean planes, professional and friendly. I’ve been to other flight schools that will milk you for money, but this is not the case here. The instructors always are willing to help and answer questions. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Not many flight schools do you see the owner washing planes! You can’t beat the prices either.

I went to all the other schools before landing here. If you are looking for community and not just a pilot mill you have found your place. They have the best prices on the field, and to be honest probably the best planes. You can tell they care.

They respond very quickly. The Runway Cafe has excellent food and kids love it.

Just finished up my private pilot license with Greenville Aviation, had a great time a long the way and met some really nice people also. During the whole time during my training I felt that everyone that worked with me at Greenville Aviation really wanted to see me succeed in getting my license. There is also a nice feeling of being one of the family there and I definitely recommend visiting them and talking to the instructors if you are looking at taking lessons and getting your license. I plan on going back in a couple months to start with IFR training!

Wonderful people there at Greenville Aviation, great CFIs, nice Airplanes. They have a great fleet of Rentals with an easy on line reservation website. My experience there has been terrific. I would also highly recommend their top notch Flight School as well as their professional, highly qualified CFIs .

Im a little freaked out by the fact that Kristen from this company has called my phone on numerous occasions asking about a woman named Sandra whos losing her car today. She then proceeded to say she found my number on Facebook which is false because I dont post anything personal online.... and called me several times again just switching up the name of who she wanted to speak with.. weird.
