I have a business in Central City. I called this guy ahead of time to reserve a stump grinder. During our conversations on the phone the guy was very condescending. Hes part owner and has no people skills what so ever. Ive never known a business to give you an attitude for doing business with them. I had my guy drive down to get the stump grinder (1 1/2 away) low and behold he treats my guy the same way. Says he doesnt like renting to people that far away. After we already talked about all this on the phone. Never disclosed that to me. Needless to say we did not rent from this guy and I dont recommend this place to anyone. The attitude from this part owner is unprofessional and uncalled for. If he doesnt want to rent his equipment, he should close up and keep it for himself!!! What a joke this place is.

Rented air hammer, equipment was junk. Over charged. And only gave 1 hammer. I remember why i dont use them.

Rented a stump grinder from them with my boss because ours ended up breaking and needed repaired. The stump grinder we rented from them performed excellently. We also price checked a few different places and this was the most affordable out of all of them by a landslide. Overall, we had a great experience.

Rented an auger to dig 22 post holes. Machine was in good working condition. Cant say it helped much with my soil but none the less I had a good experience and the folks working the place seemed like good guys.

Reasonable rental fees, quality and well maintained equipment. I had reserved a Bobcat skid steer, when I arrived all paperwork was ready, I was in and out in under 45 minutes as I rented a trailer also. Keep them in mind and give them a try.

The guys were very helpful. They answered questions and gave advice on how to accomplish my project. They delivered the equipment on time and explained how to use it. They were very helpful. I would rent from them again.

They will over-charge you and take advantage of you!!!!I am not one to give 1 star reviews... but I think this is well deserved. My husband and I own and operate a small concrete business. We needed a Bobcat for 1 day, possibly 2. Easy enough. County rent all said they had one and we picked it up on Friday. We ended up needing it for an additional day (so 2 days total, so Friday and Saturday) but being as they are closed on Sunday, and Monday was Memorial day, we thought we had to return it on Tuesday. Monday morning (on Memorial Day!!!) I woke up having a miscarriage (we were expecting a baby), and as we were getting ready to go to the hospital, County rent all called and my husband explained what was going on (he was panicked and freaking out), and also was surprised they were even open on a govt holiday, but he said we would have it back the next morning (Tuesday morning, because in the midst of all the craziness going on, all the County Rent All guy cared about was his stupid machine!) and we did return it when we said we would. My husband hadnt even put 5 hrs on the machine, used less than 1/4 tank of diesel, and we got charged $900!!!!!! When we rented it initially, the guy said that as long as we didnt put a bunch of hrs on it they wouldnt murder us on the cost. They lied and took advantage and had absolutely NO EMPATHY for our situation. We will never rent from them again, and I guarantee that our friends (all of our friends are small business owners in the construction trade) will never want to support a place like that, as well. Again, being a small business owner myself, I am not one to give out 1 star reviews... But I think people need to know what kind of place they are supporting. All I can say to them is you could have had many customers for life. We rent about 3 different machines a week... and imagine if you were in our situation. Would you want someone to look at your miscarriage, loosing a child that you were so excited about, as a money-making opportunity? Disgusting... God Bless, and I will pray for you.

Fast service!!!! The guy are very helpful showing you how to use the equipment. .. They have grate rates with a large variety of rental equipment.. . Always have what we need.. Its awesome that we can call and reserve what we need .. We will be back ..

I called and asked if they had pressure washers. they did so I went out to get one. when I was there I asked the guy at the counter what is the best cleaner to use w/it. then he told me that it was an extra charge because they are closed Sunday, and I would have to have it back Monday by 8am. So I said ok I paid and then was shown how to use it. I went and bought the cleaner that the man told me to get.. Got home and went to hook up the washer and theres no hose to hook up the cleaner, when I called they said you can come back and get it. So the man at the desk knew I was using cleaner on my house, he never mentioned that I needed a hose. I called and asked if I could just take back the machine (it wasnt set to do what I got it for). the man said yes we have an hourly rate. I told him I never turned it on and you still are going to charge me?! He then told me that I can bring it back. They were nice enough to refund me but the man at the counter was so rude and made it out to be my fault that I didnt ask for the hose. when you buy a pressure washer it comes w/the hose for the cleaner, but he named a big list of things that you dont get with there equipment unless you ask for them. If you plan to rent ANYTHING BE CAREFUL YOU MAY GET SHAFTED LIKE I DID AND SPEND THE DAY TRYING TO GET ONE THING DONE!!!!! I WILL NEVER RENT THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have rented from this company on and off throughout the years. At one point, I was a big advocate of this business and their customer service practices. Something had changed within the last couple years, I believe new management or ownership. Complete 180°. I hate to say it but I avoid renting from this business now at all cost. I actually pay more to rent elsewhere! Even though the cost is slightly higher I know that Im not going to get screwed by bogus charges, attempts to pick up a machine 2 days early without consent, and fuel surcharges after machine was taken.If bending over and taking it dry is your thing, give them a call, otherwise maybe choose another reputable business with better reviews and solid customer service!!

Take the other one star ratings seriously folks. I only rented twice, and never again. I find it a strong testament that Matt is mentioned by name in another review, because Ill speak of him also. I rented and excavator for one day. I returned it in time and in the same condition I got it in. The next day I got a call from Matt. Ill spare the details, suffice to say he was exceptionally rude and wholly unprofessional in trying to blame me for damaging one of the treads. I had to listen to him tell me ~6 times how thoroughly his guys inspect the equipment, and how they would never let the equipment go out like that. Luckily I had taken photos of how the machine was chained to the trailer before it left their lot. By dumb luck, there was the damaged tread! Matts response, Well then I guess were both at fault. No Matt, I dont think so. Ill bet anything hes the owners son. Its obvious. Ill echo one other comment I saw in other posts, if you do rent here, take a lot of pictures before you leave the lot.

I have rented many different items over the years from plate compactor, bobcat, stump grinder, demo hammer and much more. They have the best prices around and are great people to work with.

Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere they dont want to be bothered with customers.Extremely unprofessional and rude they wont be around much longer the way the treat customers. Wanna put yourself out of business quick make your customers feel like a burden like these guys do.Have some advise for the business you NEED customers customers DO NOT need you. Now some advise to your potential burdens sorry I mean customers call somewhere else I highly recommend norwin rental always treated me right.

Rude. Rented from them a couple of times... they did have what I needed, but were very inflexible and Matt was extremely rude and unprofessional. We rented a piece of equipment for over 4 weeks and he lied about having someone else come in wanting the same thing.Matt said the same thing last time we rented from them. Clearly a lie. Thankfully there is another place close by to rent from. I do not recommend them at all simply because Matt was so rude.

As a construction professional I find myself needing a huge variety of tools. Every time I have needed a tool that I dont own myself I have turned to County and they have had what i needed. Tools always worked well and the rates are good. Employees knowledgable and helpfull. Thanks guys for helping me make money. See you again soon.
