We called Certified Appliances Repair when we found out that Sears could not get out to work on our refrigerator (for the fourth time) for a month! I left a message on Certifieds phone and within an hour or so, Jessica returned my call. After speaking with her we were so happy to hear that they could come out to check things over on Monday, June 21st, just a tad bit sooner than Sears (who, BTW uses subcontractors for their service)! :)Gary came out and discovered that we were low on charge. Everything looked good in terms of connections so we really dont have a clear cut explanation for the low charge but the freon that Gary put in does have a UV dye in it so if there is a leak, he will be able to tell it easily.In conversation with him, he suggested that since are refrigerator sits in an insert, that we install a vent behind the refrigerator to aid air flow as over heated compressors can cause the freon to thicken and deposit on the inside of the compressor walls. No one had ever told us about this possibility! I took care of that today.Once the system was recharged it is working fine and the total cost was significantly less than what Sears was going to charge just to walk in the door!Bottom line is that Gary was very knowledgeable, very informational, very professional, thorough, and courteous. I will not hesitate to contact them again for any future relevant work that we may need to have done on our other appliances! Thank you Gary and thank you Jessica!

Probably the rudest repair company ive ever had the displeasure of working with. Extremely rude, dismissive and highly unprofessional. Ive read other reviews and ive seen the keyboard warrior attacking all the 1 star ratings. If they come after me without apologizing I will happily upload a video on there services all calls that are on my phone are saved and recorded and I have audio cameras in my house. All I want is a apology for the way you guys have acted. Refusal to do so will come with a upload. The certified technician, Gary I believe his name was, came out promptly, was pleasant and professional. Had the parts in stock and saved all the food refrigerator.

They came and fixed my fridge it was not getting cold it’s now working and they were very professional and the price was cell below what I thought it was going to be. I will use them again and refer them to anyone.

Called them for my dad to have a repair done. Thursday scheduled a time and never showed up and when I called to ask why I got yelled at and hung up on. And now seeing these replies Ican see why.

The response to my call for repair was exceptionally friendly . The scheduling was quick and efficient and the repair man came when scheduled. Gary was very efficient, courteous, friendly and completed the repair in a reasonable time. Called for an appointment requested a Friday but if it wasn’t possible I understood. she specifically said there was a wait list which was fine but said she would call me back as time got closer and they never did I called her back we were never added to the wait list nor did she ever call back to tell me they weren’t working Fridays as they were getting a house ready to sell. Now I’m looking for and additional 3 weeks and when I suggested it was her fault she was very rude and belligerent. There was no attempt to work is in even though they didn’t add us to their wait list! I’m happy she suggested we find someone else to look at our appliance. I would not recommend these folks!

I thought I needed a dryer hose/vent replaced. Gary was efficient, thorough and honest! He told me it was a 20 year hose and only needed to be cleaned out and replaced the outside louvered vent with a box to keep out the critters. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Even scrubbed the softener waxy buildup off my dryer screen and showed me how to it myself to keep my dryer working properly. Gave me tips to extend the life of my appliance and keep my household safe. I have used Certified Appliance Repair for over 10 years, and they are the best. Totally trust them to do it right! Paid $275 to find out there was a freon leak on my freezer and it cannot be repaired. I should have just put that money towards a new freezer but was convinced by the repair company that the old freezers are built better and it would be better to attempt the repair. Next time I will just buy new instead of attempting to have it serviced.

Gary fixed our dryer quickly and also suggested he clean our dryer vent while he was here. We are so glad he did! While we clean our vents once a year, our equipment can’t reach as far as the Certified equipment can. He left our dryer spotless and fully functional. Gary was very knowledgeable, friendly and focused on solving our problem. The office staff was also terrific in letting us know when Gary was coming. Great service! We always call Certified when we have an appliance issue.

Dryer was making terrible squeaking noises. Gary knew exactly what was needed (front drum wheels). Plus he thoroughly cleaned the unit. The dryer now runs quiet like when it was brand new. Charge seemed very reasonable and I would highly recommend him to others.

I recently had my vent line cleaned by Certified Appliance Repair and I was absolutely amazed of the job they did, I couldn’t believe how much lint was in my vent line!! They did an amazing job, no mess was left behind and the price was was very affordable for the service that I received. He was very thorough and he also tested my dryer to make sure it was getting to the correct temperature since there was so much build up, he didn’t even charge me for testing it!! Most places will nickel and dime you for everything!!! I definitely would highly recommend this company and will be using them again!!

Called Certified for my mom. This the third time in a couple of years that Gary has come and done great work. He is so honest, courteous and knowledgeable and always goes out of his way to explain things. His prices are awesome too! We wont use anyone but Certified.

Andy arrived today and repaired our dishwasher that is less than 5 years old. Replaced a sensor tank and cleaned it thoroughly. He then cleaned up our refrigerator coils and filled it with Freon. His service was great! Everyone I’ve spoken to at CAR has been incredibly friendly, hard-working people. That matters. Thank you, Andy and Donna!

I got the call a week ago as to when they would be coming. They showed up found the problem and had it fixed with in 45 minutes.Very reasonable on pricing. Super nice people.

We have used Certified Appliance Repair for the second time. The first time was to set up our new gas range. This time for our top load washer that wasnt draining, spinning, then not washing. It was repaired with better parts than what was originally in it. Always professional, knowledgeable and always have parts with them!! This is by far the best company to call for appliance problems at reasonable cost! We had a nightmare dealing with a Sears owned company regarding a warranty issue for our refrigerator. Never again. Warranty or not, we will always call Certified Appliance Repair.

Our refrigerator/freezer was not cooling. Andy came and found we needed a new capacitor which he replaced. Andy serviced and cleaned the coils under the refrigerator. It is now running great!!! Andy is very professional and explained everything as he worked repairing the refrigerator. Excellent service!!

Wow! My husband and I were so impressed with the service Gary provided us. Our dryer wasnt turning and he ordered the part and fixed it - pretty status quo right? But what was sooo amazing is that while he had the machine open he checked over and cleaned everything!! The dryer is 8 years old and we have 5 children...so it was a big job. He then cleaned out our whole crazy long dryer vent system and then, he actually told us ways we could keep it running great. VERY knowledgeable!We decided this will be our go to company, so we had him come back and fix our freezer water dispenser. He knew right away what the problem was and again went above and beyond to make it right. Again, he helped us understand why the problem developed and how to keep it from happening again.It might sound silly, but we are so happy to have found Gary and his company! Highly recommend.

Was charged over $500 to fix an ice maker on a house we had already sold, ice maker was not fixed, the repair man never got back with us to discuss the problem, found out from new owners is was not fixed.I am shocked at the positive reviews of this company......professional and courteous? Read the responses to negative reviews.PS I never stated you REPLACED the ICE MAKER!!!!! I stated fixedPSS In case your worried I found someone competent to FIX the ice maker.

Gary was the technician at the time of service. He was very professional and did an amazing job with the install. I would highly recommend this company for appliance repairs!

This place is the the worst, the repaire man was very hateful and argumentative with an older lady. They also ordered the wrong parts and were supposed to come out within 8-10 days but took over a month. If I could give less than a 1 star I definitely would. I highly recommend not using this company.

Love love love this company!!! My fridge quit the afternoon before I had a huge party. I was in a mess and completely stressed out. No one wants deviled eggs that have been on the kitchen counter for 15 hours that just screams Samonella. Anyways, I called Mr. Leon and he made me feel comfortable right about the bat told me it sounded like something simple and he’d be over in 2 hrs. He showed up knew exactly what it was and had my fridge running in under 30 mins. I was a little sketchy at first because I wasn’t familiar with the company but now I wouldn’t use anyone else. If you have any kitchen needs he’s the man to call!!
