There is a woman from New York who works here, who has got to be the rudest employee at this location. When we first ordered a wheelchair, we attempted to pay for it up front, but they wouldnt allow us to do so. They INSISTED on monthly payments. I advised the woman I spoke with, Sharon Weaver, that this may create an issue should my credit card number ever change. She still refused to allow me to pay for the wheelchair up front. Now, the exact situation I warned her about has happened -- my old credit card expired, and therefore the number changed. And so, now the employee from New York is calling me and being very aggressive, claiming that we are purposefully not making payments. I would highly advise everyone to avoid this location and company altogether.
I was on vacation from out of town in May and lost part of my CPAP supplies. It was late Friday afternoon. They were able to get the equipment I needed. The staff was very friendly and understanding of my needs. I especially need the machine every night to get a good nights sleep. Great staff and service!
Every time I call to get supplies for my machine it takes 2 to 3 weeks before they are ready to pick up. I dont understand why it takes so long.
Every time my husband orders his mask, its never right. I asked them if the person knows how to read that pulls the order from their warehouse, and the person that gives me the order at their facility when I pick it up, never even checked the order number...once again I have to call and tell them they didnt get it right, again. The worst customer service Ive ever dealt with.
Horrible customer service. I do not recommend them because if your machine has issues and is under warranty they will not assist you. Your hands will be tied because technically its not your machine and you cant do warranty claims without their consent. Another issue is different insurance companies require you to use machine different amount of time. For example my company says you have to use it 70 percent per 30 days however home medical lies and says 100 percent of the time.I have always dealt with Jennifer she was nice and sweet. She was the one who gave me my cpap machine. Things worked great until it fell over one night and got water damage. I called Jennifer and was told to air it out for a couple of days and I should be good to go. I did that but then it started having a foul odor that smelt like mold. With my health condition its not a bright idea to inhale that for four hours a night. I notified them and was told to use vinegar to clean it. I did that still same problem called back in. I was treated like a lair and they were nasty and rude. I was told by Sharon that she has never had that happen before but if she looked on Google she would have heard about it. She does not know how to talk to people. She kept stating its not in my notes. She acts as if I can make her employees put correct information in their files. I dont understand the problem when the machine is under warranty and they could just send it in months ago or ask me to bring it in to them to be repaired. They did nothing for over two months. I didnt see the point in calling every day about the issue when I made them aware and they knew what was going on. I got a call from them saying to bring the machine in because I was not using it. They already knew why. They failed to assist me. Now I have to fight with my insurance company to have the machine replaced. Good thing I recorded my phone conversations as proof that I tried to work with them.
Wow David you sound like you cant be pleased by ANYONE..... I personally have done business with them for years and always had great service and quick responses. Two other people with CPAP machines that I know also deal with them and have had outstanding response. I even had one of the staff actually drop off a part on the way home because she lived near me. Now thats customer service! They also took the time to tell me my doctors office had relocated and gave me the new address. As far as insurance goes...... Choice Home isnt at fault...... I think we all know where that blame goes. The rules are the rules in that industry. CHOICE HOME gets 5 stars from me.
Superior customer service and assistance. They picked up the ball when Wake Forest dropped it on my sleep apnea machine. Sharon was amazing, very thorough. I was thrilled with them!
Was missing the mask from my order, only received the tubing and have been calling for 5 days, noone has returned my call. Automated service is all you get to listen too.
Great company very knowledgeable staff.
They have horrible customer service and they are totally dishonest . They will tell you anything to get your business . I called and asked if they accepted my insurance . They said, Yes, we do . I spoke with Angie . So I had my doctor fax over my sleep study and prescription . I called several days later and they had lost my info . So when I thought I had been signed up with them, Sharon called and said they did not accept my insurance . They knew that from the start . They were going to run things out of network and hope that I didnt notice . So if you want to call someone who will lie to you to get your business and who is also crooked, then Choice Medical is the place to call .
