I first took my mom to Smile Gallery because of location. However the price package and friendly staff convinced both myself and husband to join a plan. We have been patients for 3 years or more, and while my mom passed and we live in High Point, in other words, location is no convenient when other similar offices are in High Point, we remain patients. Now for the Dentist, top notch, was patient with my mom and always responsive and thorough in explanations regarding care. Please consider when looking for a Dentist Family.
The lady who clean your teeth is awesome she takes her time and lets you know what is going wrong with your teeth every step of the way. They speak to very calmly. I love going there.
I love this dental office! I’m so glad I found it! The receptionist is super nice and accommodating. The hygienists are friendly and caring. Dr Sanford and her assistant make you feel relaxed and I am nervous about going anyway. The office is super clean and beautiful. I commented on the paintings and learned that they were hand painted by Dr. Sanfords mother! It has a real family feel! I don’t dread dental visits any longer.
Best dentist! We love Dr. Sanford. She gives great care. Has handled fillings quickly and very well for each of my kids and me! The Dental assistants and hygienists are great as well!
This office is great! They are very careful with COVID and the office is clean. Very easy to make appointments. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Sanford makes me feel like her number one priority is making sure I am comfortable and pleased with their services.
Wonderful Dentist and amazing staff!
New to the area. Thought I found a great dentist for myself and my family. Called the Smile Gallery and asked if they participated in my dental insurance and they told me yes. Gave them my insurance information. Never once did they say they were out of network. Went in for my appointment in October. Everything went great. Never told me I had a balance due. Daughters appointment was the next day. Everything went great. Never said anything about a balance due.Fast forward a month and a half later, December 1st my son is home from college and is at the dental office waiting to be seen for his appointment. I get a phone call informing me I have a balance over $500 on my account. Total shock! I have no idea why. The Smile Gallery tells me they are not sure why the insurance is not covering the costs and they plan to appeal. I say ok. Tell them to go ahead and honor my sons appointment while you figure out whats going on. I also called my insurance company. Again, never once did the dental office say they were out of network.I called my dental insurance. The representative called the dental office. The insurance representative says the dental office was extremely rude. Apparently, there was some misunderstanding between the dental office and the insurance company. The insurance representative said the dental office was going to call me and work something out. That was on December 1st. Never heard from Smile Gallery until around the 21st of December when I received a bill in the mail for over $800. Today, I called the office attempting to get this resolved. Spoke to Lisa. Gave her my information and was told they will call me back. In the meantime, I called my insurance company again. Insurance company called the Smile Gallery and they told the insurance representative that they told me they were out of network, which they NEVER did. If that was the case, I would have never gone to the Smile Gallery and this would be a mute issue.Once I got off the phone with my insurance company, I called the Smile Gallery again to speak to Lisa. She was not available. Still waiting for a return phone call. In the meantime, my insurance company is pulling the recorded call from their conversation with the dental office. At some point, I guess the Smile Gallery will return my call and we can amicably find a middle ground and resolve this issue.

The availability is great, and Ive never walked in to a delayed appointment time. The entire staff is outstandingly punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The attention to detail shows in a cleanliness of the office as well as the diversity among the staff. WARNING: The music selection may make it hard for you to not want to show-off your dance moves while in the chair! I went to smile gallery last week for x rays and a teeth cleaning. After this was completed, the dentist came in and said, “I think you’ll need a crown soon.” I then asked if she believes I’ll need one in a year or so, and she replied “now, unless you want to eat on the left side of your mouth.” She then left the room without saying goodbye, and the receptionist told me she would call the following day to price me for a crown. I was told that my insurance covers 50%, and that I would be charged $788, which is incredibly high. I then called back and asked them to send my x rays to another dentist because I wanted a second opinion. The receptionist said, “I wouldn’t go to another dentist for your restorative work, because dentists don’t like to follow the work of other dentists.” I respectfully told her that I’ve moved several times and subsequently have been to many dentists, and I’ve never been turned away before. To make this short, I got my second opinion today, and was told that my fillings are perfectly intact, and that I shouldn’t need a crown for several years. They said that they cannot see anything on the x-Ray that would indicate I need a crown. That being said, I of course will never return to smile gallery because I was told I need an expensive procedure that I do not need. Would give 0 stars if I could, due to the dentists severe dishonesty.Edit- a year later and still haven’t needed a crown.
Going to the dentist sucks. And yet, Smile Gallery makes it suck a lot less.Yes, you have to make an appointment - but they are super flexible, have later and weekend hours, and you can schedule online.Yes, you have to drive to an office, but its clean, bright and has the latest dental tech.Yes, someone is going to poke around in your mouth, but they are professional, as gentle as possible, and are communicative without trying to hold a conversation while simultaneously jamming eight fingers to your tonsils.So, maybe going to the dentist doesnt have to suck?
My girlfriend and I both came here short notice, and got appointments quickly. The office was beautiful, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We both had our exams and cleanings with no problems. My girlfriend has dental anxiety and had two fillings done (same day) She was worried but the hygienist and dentist were friendly and gentle but also extremely thorough and careful.
No problems setting appointments including Friday hours till 2pm. Friendly staff, very friendly and professional dentist. I had four teeth extracted today and I can honestly say the dentist did a wonderful job of making it an quick and easy process for me.I will keep going back ......I definitely recommendcoming here.

I love Smile Gallery, our entire family (15mnths & up) just started coming here. The entire staff is awesome. Dee is our awesome D.A., she is patient and knowledgeable. My first visit was based on pain, and I discovered they are a one stop for ALL needs. They prescribed me an antibiotic and will be doing a root canal a week from today. My husband will be going in for a whitening soon. I love Smile Gallery!!!
Nice and friendly! I had a major cavity on a visible tooth and it was filled the same day as my first appointment and it was affordable. The hygienist and the dentist were both very knowledgeable and quick.
My experience at Smile Gallery of Greensboro was very positive. I went in on 10/31/16 for a cleaning. I was actually late for my appointment and they still squeezed me in. I only waited for about two minutes. I had Macy as my hygienist. She was super nice and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. The dentist and the desk ladies were also kind. I was very pleased with my visit and my teeth feel great.
The place is neat, clean, and a lot of sunlight. Everyone, from the receptionist to the dentist, is nice and professional. I am new in town, but have made the easy decision to bring everyone in my family here for dental needs.

I’ve been a patient at this dental office for over 2 year. I remember when it opened and was one of the first patients to be seen in the office. Very pleasant experience, I recommended this place to multiple people because I work at the Express care in the same shopping center. But as of today my feeling on this place has changed with its customer service. I called to cancel an appointment that was on the following day due to my mother being in a traumatic car accident being hit head on by a 18 wheeler truck who has had multiple surgeries and recent has had some brain issues that has taken us all for a scare. Being the appointment was at 8am I called to see if she had something later because it takes so long to gt my mother ready and she cant be home alone or just reschedule. I was informed I would be responsible for a late cancellation of $50 because it wasn’t canceled within 48 hours. Although I explained why situation she wasn’t empathetic at all, she just stated I’m sorry but thats our policy, nor did she show any concern regarding my mother being in a traumatic accident again this was head on with a 18 wheeler truck, she has had over 5 surgeries and currently in rehab and also seeing a neurosurgeon for brain trauma. It’s not even an issue of $50 because that’s very minimal and I do have a Flex spending card, it’s that she wasn’t empathetic about it and waiving a fee is completely at the discretion of the faculty regardless of policy. This left the worse taste in my mouth. I wouldn’t recommend this faculty to anyone, there more focused on 50 dollar late cancellation fee that being empathetic about my situation nor maintaining a long term patient who has recommended this place to multiple people being I worked in the same area, and all of these people have thanked me for referring them there. A lot of the picture of patients on there website i referred there via working in the express care in the same shopping center. So this is the end of my care here and my recommendation of this facility if anything I will tell my experience with staffing and recommend they seek a different dental facility. When i stated that if this situation was not one that qualifies for a waiver then i have to carry my care somewhere else. She said ok and hung-up. Still no empathy just rude. The Dentist is great I will say that much.
I came here to set up a denta0l plan and have a problem tooth extracted, which I was told could be done for a discounted additional cost. I purchased the $375 plan. I received dental x-rays and was told they could not do the extraction and my cleaning would cost me an additional $887.00. I basically paid $375.00 for x-rays and a referral to an oral surgeon. When I chose another dentist I was promised my x-rays would be forwarded to them. It never happened. This franchise driven dentist office is a rip off.

After being at a dentist for practically all of my life I made the chage to Smile Gallery about two months ago. I love the staff, from the front desk ladies, who are always so welcome, to all of the hygienist and Dr. Christie is the best. They are so wonderful my daughter whos 13 felt so comfortable and loves the practice. Thank you Smile Gallery for doing such a great job and providing great customer service!

I took my appointment and try to cancel my appointment but no one answers my phone and I talk to the receptionist Lisa she’s so rude and not explaining anything I was going there since they opened but now they are just trying to take money with unprofessional work..They charge for periodontal cleaning and they do just regular cleaning. In 15 minuets they finish cleaning. So unprofessional I was very disappointed 😔 it’s not about but they has to do ethical work too

Nothing but horrible experiences and missed soooo many things. One daughter they missed a ton orthodontist glue under her gums..instead told her to brush better. Other daughter missed a gum issue, wasnt advised until an orthodontist told us a few weeks after her appt. Called to get the dentist to look at her gums. Asked on the phone if it would cost since it was there mistake. Was advised NO. A month later...the 15 min appointment cost almost $60.Refused to take them back.. the new dentist caught the glue and the gums on both of my daughters in the first visit. Advised Smile Gallery I wouldnt be bringing them back. They still call all my numbers... 8 months later, even after telling them to stop.Nothing positive to say about this dentist office.

This office is so clean! I worry about germs when I go to the dentist but not here. The staff is very friendly and I could tell genuine in their care. I thought I needed more treatment than I ended up needing so I walked out with less pain and more money in my pocket which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this office as I have been to a LOT of different practices, but this is the one Ill stick with even after my upcoming relocation. Its worth the trip when you know you are in good hands, Thank you Dr. Sanford!!!

I have just about had it with this dentist office. I LOVE THE DENTIST! SHE IS AWESOME! I have had horrible experience after horrible experience. First bad experience was making an appointment for my sister, who is in high school, to go for her yearly on a day she was out of school. I signed her up for all her yearly exams on the same day, October 25 to be exact(not a holiday). Appointments were 10am and 1pm and 4pm. So I definitely had them spaced out enough. Well, Smile Gallery appointment was at 1:00pm that Wednesday. I received a call around 10am of Ashley asking me would I come in at 11am instead of my appointment at 12pm. I told her that our appointment was at 1pm and I would not be able to come in any earlier because we were still at the previous appointment. Well she informed me that the office closes at 1:00pm and we would have to schedule another appointment. After looking on the website and looking at the hours, I called back. This time speaking with Dianee. She had asked Ashley to call me to see if my sister could come in earlier. But she told me the office closes at 2pm not 1pm. . . Well on THEIR website and the door states Wednesday the office is open until 4:30pm supposedly. So they are either lying to get out of the office early because of not having many patients or they just have not updated any of their times for their patients to be knowledgable on. My sister still hasnt got her appointment due to them lying back and forth about what time they close. She is in school and we rarely ever take her out of school for appointments. Looking for another dentist for her currently.Second bad experience. . .After getting my yearly cleaning, I was instructed that I needed some other work done and given a treatment plan with the prices and the teeth number and etc. Well I went back for the extra work that I needed and during the process the Dental Assistant Deandra, was just horrible. My mouth was getting scraped with the tools instead of her lifting them out she just scraped my mouth while pulling them out. It was even one time I jumped because of her scraping the side of my mouth while Dr Sanford had other things going on, on the other side of my mouth. I knew that my lip/mouth didnt have to be scraped because the dentist herself was doing a fabulous job about taking tools out of my mouth without scraping my lip or side of my mouth. I just felt like Deandra was having a bad day so didnt care about how sensitive my mouth was or she was just lazy.Third bad experience, insurance was said to have downgraded after my work was done because the office uses a white filling instead of a silver filling that insurance pays for. I was never notified of a price increase, I called back to set up my next appointment to find out I had a balance. I never got any notification of a balance. There are plenty of Cone Health employees that come to this office with the major dental plan because many of my coworkers go here and referred me. So I am not sure why their office manager estimates one price when she knew that the insurance do not cover white fillings.I loved Dr. Sandford and the dental hygienist Macy. The front desk and insurance representatives need more correlation and communication. An appointment was missed an my prices was increased after I paid upfront.

I just moved to the area looking for a dentist for my family. Noticed sign outside office stating evening and satuday hours. Wrong they dont have them if you need them. Maybe for cleaning but not for seeing the dentist. Dentist recmmended 6 months smiles for a price of around 5 grand. Well I thought it was going to make my smile perfect. Wrong would love to post a after photo pretty bad. The brackets fell off continuously which was not as expected. But the way the treated me was horrible. Stating things likes What are you eatting and maybe you should cut you food up. Really Maybe I should of say a orthodontist instead of putting scrap metal on my teeth and being at their mercy. Who wants to keep coming back to a place where they continuosly mentally abuse you. But I had the crap on my teeth for 6 months. On my way to the beach a wire broke off and litterally sprang out 2 inches in front of my mouth. I had my husband cut it off so I could enjoy our family trip. Well talk about being repremanded again for cutting a wire. Who does this they said. They told me I could of put it back in the brackets. Oh Excuse Me But Im not a dentist and was not trained to do this. I felt humiliated every time I had to go in to have work done. They never apoligized to me for the brackets that came off on a weekly basis for awhile. They should of known the i had veneers and crowns. They tre ated me as if I was taking them off. Well I was told that I was paid in full by a employee that is no longer there go figure. The new office manager is not a people person. She told me I was 6 months delinquent on my husbands bill. Well I never got a bill at All. She wanted payment right away and also told me I owe her 600 dollares. Wait I thought I was paid in full. She would not give me any eye contact and stated the other staff member was wrong. She canceled my scheduled appointment put me in for a new time and never called our home with a new appt. time. Well do that to them and they will charge you a whooping 75 dollars. She lied to my face and said she never said she would call me. YES you did Mrs Smith. Alot of star reviews will be posted and mine of course will not. But if so Beware Your dental appts should not be stressful. Most of us go to work and treat people with respect. This is not what you get here. There is talk in the community that I have been overhearing. Its not just me. I am contemplating filing a complaint with the Dental Board. I should of been offered a refund for mental abuse and faulty products. I wish I could post a picture of my teeth they are a total mess . 5 grand done the drain.
