Dr Shine will do you right. After visiting 3 shops, I thought that my sleeping bag zipper was not going to be fixable. Dr Shine put in extra time on Saturday so that I could have my bag ready before I departed on a camping trip. He really cares about customer service and hacking a solution.

I had an awesome experience at First and Ten shoe repair shop. The hospitality of Dr. Smiles was refreshing. Good customer service, good quality and service. I am satisfied with my repair and for these said reasons, I recommend this shop and will return with any and all shoe repairs. Also, Dr Smiles will be honest with you and let you know if he can or can not do the repair. I appreciated his honesty. I give 5 stars. There is no reason to give anything less!

Dr. Shine recently dyed a pair of white satin shoes, violet to match my dress for my daughters wedding. He did a perfect match. Its very hard to find someone to dye shoes, its a dying trade. The owner UT is awesome. My 30 year old Naot sandals look brand new! He dyed them, put on new valcro and cork leather conditioner! Amazing quality, so professional and a humorous and fun gentleman! I gave Dr. Shine a call and he told me to come right in so I did and I’m glad I did. He had both of the shoes repaired within 24 hours and the price was reasonable! He can dye leather goods to match any color chart, swatch, or object you bring him. Skeptical going in, and he is a little pricey, try and negotiate down. Hes a 95% color match. Relocated to Greensboro NC from NY and while unpacking I came across a pair of suede Italian boots that I purchase in the city last winter. My godmother told me that she would take them to a shoe repair to have the heels tips replaced. The following day we went to pick up the boots that I thought I have destroyed to my surprise the boots looked new. Not only were the heels tips flawlessly replaced, the boots were cleaned and the suede (that I have worn in the rain and snow in NY) looked near perfect, like if they were just purchased and worn once. First and Ten is my first choice now for all my shoe repair needs and I give them a 10 in service and customer service. Thanks for giving my boots life again.

My boots were beginning to come apart at the soles and had a couple of scuff marks on the heels. The service was very quick, less than two days and the boots were back looking good as new. It was a nice polish job and quality repair and kept me from having to buy new boots. I would come back.
