Constant resets in the middle of watching a program, and what seems like ETERNAL lagtime and freezes of what youre watching while program is downloading! Only had for a little over a year and already wanting to try ANY other satellite service provider!!

Its really to bad I must give a 1 star rating. Had to give it to warn others how much a rip off company this really is. DO NOT get this service. When you decide to move on there is a 20.00 a month charge for every month remaining on your contract. Thats all well and fine. When you pay your bill you are paying for 15 days ahead and 15 days for the past month of your services. Was a real shocker when they took another payment from my account to cover 15 days that I havent used yet nor will ever use. On top of everything my dish bill was 155.00 a month. I now pay 156.00 for 1gig speed internet, cable and land line services. Dish, rip off!! Do not use!!

MY WARNING TO PEOPLE. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH DISH!!!! THEY FIRST SENT ME THE WRONG RECEIVER (it only recorded 3 shows at a time I was supposed to get the better receiver with the package, and they wanted to charge extra for the receiver I was supposed to get in the first place), THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE ( it would freeze up, reset constantly, the images would pixalate, customer service was terrible, extremely long hold times, constant exhausting sales pitches. ) When I finnaly canceled my service, Dish network took a disconnect fee from my bank account that was unauthorized that I didnt know about which caused me to bounce my mortgage payment. I switched to Spectrum they will buyout your dish contract. They send you boxes to return your recievers, but they charged me for the recievers before I even received the boxes to return them, and the also took money from my bank account for that. I disputed these changes its taking months to resolve this.

Honestly, if I could give DISH zero stars, I would. A previous owner had a satellite DISH in my small backyard. I attempted to call DISH to see what the process for satellite removal. First - I was given the number for this DISH location to contact to see about removal and cost of removal. I then find out the number attached to Google (and the one I was provided by DISH) was indeed a corporate number and not a retailer! When speaking to THAT representative, I was given two NEW numbers in cities 45-70 minutes away. The closer one didnt even sound like it served DISH anymore; I was asked about my interest in roadside assistance and potential health insurance discounts. The second number went to voicemail despite the office supposedly being open. Upon calling the corporate number AGAIN and explaining my situation, I was repeatedly asked if I wanted to sign up for DISH service (as if that was a resolution for my problem).

I wish Dish Owners would understand that a lot of people DO NOT want to give there Social Security Number to a TV Service. I have tried three times over the last 5 years to join them from OVERPRICED DIRECTV. They could have potentially a lot more customers without this requirement, but I guess they are happy at the level of business they are doing. It would seem that if your are willing to set up payment on draft each month, that would be good enough for most companies......pay TV is getting ready to get humbled. Cell phone companies bills have come way down in the last few years and Pay TV I believe is not far behind. I dont need 190 or 250 channels. I watch 5 main channels and 10-20 others. Sling is looking better all the time. Getting ready to pull the plug SAT Companies.................... I hope many others Follow.

I have been harrassed for a collection on a service I have not been physically able to use being bullied by there loyalty experts. Spoke to two supervisors that like to argue with me instead of helping to correct a situation their tech messed up. This company is full of snakes. They told me no one was going to help me no one in the company could fix the situation. Which is insane. I am being charged for 2 months of service after not being able to use the service for 6 months. They said its my fault I should have called and they will continue to call me until I paid in full! I have never been so disrespected in my life! I would never treat customers like this. BUYERS BEWARE THEY ARE NOT A COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT SERVICE!!!!

Samsung has a contract with Dish Network to fix their appliances and THE TECH PEOPLE THAT CAME TO FIX IT DONE A 100% GOOD JOB and FIX THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER THE BILLING DEPARTMENT IS A JOKE, MY FIRST REPAIR BACK ON JULY9TH THEY CHARGED DOUBLE ON FEES AND HAD TO REFUND ME BACK MY FUNDS AND NOW MY SECOND REPAIR IS NEEDED I CALLED AND SETUP SERVICE WITH NEW PYMT CARD FOR THEM TO USE AND THEY DIDNT USE THE NEW CARD INFO AND USED MY OLD CARD UNAUTHROIZED AND NOW CAUSED ME FEES AND MORE PROBLEMS WITH BANKS !!!! THEY REALLY NEED TO GET THERE CALL CENTER BILLING DEPARTMENT RETRAINED ON HOW TO PROCESS PYMT WITH CORRECT AMOUNTS AND CORRECT CARDS !!!!!
