I love the competitive nature of the job. It definitely is for people who are self motivated and are looking for a career with growth. You have to have an entrepreneur mindset and willing to put maximum effort into everything you do. Best thing by far is that you make your own worth and not told what you are worth
Complete and total scam! Run for the hills if they call you with a interview. The job is a door to door sales for fiber internet with AT&T. You get dropped off in a neighborhood and go door to door. They also do not pay hourly salary they only pay commission on what you sell. It is a bunch of fresh out of college kids who were promised a pyramid scheme job and somehow they are still there. They will promise that in a couple of months you will have your own branch. They use the word Marketing team very freely. In reality nothing you do is marketing related. You work crazy hours Mon-Saturday something along the lines of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and AGAIN NO HOURLY PAY RATE. Do not waste your time going for the interview. I wasted two days of my life. They also only hire young people out around early to late 20s complete discrimination. HR is very friendly I feel bad that she is wrapped up in this scheme. You have been warned.
This definitely appears to be a scam. I asked, the interviewer, Caesar several questions pertaining to the info published on their website, which he wasnt prepared to answer. He was very vague or couldnt answer. As the interview progressed, I informed him, I already knew the answers to the questions asked, due to my knowledge of the telecom industry. He became very uncomfortable and agitated. I found the interview humorous as time past, Especially, when he implied, Nova serve as a call center for AT&T. I informed him, Id research Nova and the findings were not favorable. At this point, Caesar pulled out a notebook I guess with his credentials.I immediately, visited a AT&T store to share my experiences. The person I spoke with pretty much confirmed my suspicions. Hopefully, companies such as Nova, will cease to exist.
False Advertising - Stay Away: The interview was conducted in a nondescript building in Greensboro and was originally scheduled for 8:00 AM. I sat in a reception area for almost 20 minutes waiting for the manager to arrive. He offered no details regarding the roles and responsibility of the position. He went around in circles the entire interview and talked about AT&T, but never mentioned a thing about Nova Enterprises. I asked some pointed questions, but he still chose to be vague and elusive. I was told to come back the next day for the second interview which was only an attempt to end to interview because he could not handle my line of questioning; what a joke! He tries to give this persona of being driven and professional but the tacky vest and tie gives him completely away. You have been warned. Dont waste your time here.
Its a great work environment with an amazing opportunity. People are very friendly and go out of their way to help you succeed in achieving your goals
