The team at rental works is always helpful which is especially important to me as Im just a homeowner that likes to use heavy equipment for DIY tasks.

Called and asked about renting equipment and was told a price. So I drove all the way across Greensboro and when I arrived i was told I had to use a card for first time renting. So why wasnt i told that on the phone and could have saved me a trip across town.

I rented a 26-ton log splitter for the weekend at a very good price. Service was outstanding. I was able to set up the rental over the phone and did not have to go into someones space to fill out forms and pick up the equipment. Personnel at Rental Works came out to help me hook up the splitter to my pickup and to demonstrate the controls for the device. When I returned the splitter this morning (Monday), their personnel met me at the door with my receipt. Everything worked as it should. I would certainly recommend this business to anyone looking for a good log splitter--and I plan to come back the next time I have several cords of wood I need to split!

During a recent ice storm I was wondering how I was going to keep the tropical plants alive at New Garden Gazebo after we lost power. Shortly after the power went out, I received a call from William Duke offering to have one of his employees meet me at his store so I could pick up a couple of kerosene jet heaters. William and his team saved the day and all of our tropical plants. A huge thank you to William and his team.

This place is 10/10. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and really go above and beyond. I had an issue with a unit I rented and the owner met me on Saturday evening at 8:00 pm to swap it out. If you have any rental needs, I highly recommend going to them!

This is only place I rent equipment from. As a contractor, there are 3 things I care about: 1) They got the best prices. 2) Ive recently rented 4 different 8k+ lb machines that had less than 300 hrs on them. 3) When I have an issue, day or night, I call my sales guy Grey on his cell phone (not an 800#) and he makes it his problem. Nobody else can touch that kind of service.

I rented a popcorn machine and it was a very pleasant experience. They gave me a clean machine to use and made sure I had all the instructions and supplies I would need. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I was recently working on my Eagle Scout Project and needed some equipment. As soon as Rental Works heard they immediately lent me everything I needed free of charge. I used a nail gun, scaffolding, and a trailer over 3 days. Great tools and even better people. Great place to go.

I recently rented a stump grinder from these folks and it could not have gone better. I had never done this before and they not only guided me to the right equipment, but also showed me how to use it and gave me some valuable tips. Knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful.

Terrible experience.Reserved an aerial lift to pick up this Saturday and use throughout the weekend. Took today (Friday) off from work to prep for the large job I had ahead of me. This entailed emptying out the barn, moving around equipment etc. Something told me to call them this morning to confirm. Called and they said that the lift I was going to get was not available but theyd call me back.By 4:45pm I received no call back so I called. They advised they would not have the lift nor anything else that would work.Unbelievable. Terrible service. Dude I spoke with could care less that I lost a vacation day due to their incompetence. Didnt even offer to comp me for a future rental. Apathetic at best.Whats the point of making reservations if your not going to honor them? Imagine using their party rental services for a wedding and they did the same? And to not even call me....I had to call them and twice.Im torqued. As far as Im concerned, I will NEVER use them again. And I highly suggest that anyone else that considers taking vacation days or relying on Rental Works.....run and go somewhere else. Fortunately I found another place, (HercRentals), with the same product that will rent me the equipment from Friday night (not Saturday morning like this place) to Monday morning for the same cost. And their service was MUCH better.This is why companies go out of business....poor business practices and pathetic service. Seriously....save yourself the aggravation and use another equipment and/or party rental supplier.

Dont know why you would go anywhere else. Ive rented a bobcat, log splitter, tiller, trailer and aerator on the Rental Works side. Ive also rented tables, chairs, and linens from the PartyMakers side. The staff is helpful and professional; prices are great...especially the propane tank refill.On the equipment, the front desk folks always showed me how to operate it and made sure it was working properly before I got it. Zero problems and returning it was easy.On the party stuff, they always loaded it quickly in my truck, and unloaded it for me when I was done. Everything was new or near new, clean, and worked as expected.

This place is a joke . they send out something to use it breaks they want fix it or pay for wat went wrong . they dont tell u u can only use it for 8 hrs then they charge u more . everyone knows u rent something for the weekend u rented it to use all weekend not half a day.lol i hope they go broke.

My husband and I rented a skidsteer and trailer from these guys for 1 week and paid the weekly rate of $849 and when we returned it today they charged us another $250 saying we didnt pay the weekly rate that it was only for 2 days. These people are crooks and we wont use them ever again. If you can get the same thing somewhere else I suggest you do so. The only reason I gave them one star is because I had to to write this review otherwise I wouldnt give them any stars.
