Had an appointment for 10:40am for 35,000 mile maintenance and inspection. Needed 4 new tires to pass inspection. Finally finished at 3:30pm, 5 hours later. Luckily my husband was able to sit in your waiting room for 5 hours so I did not have to take off work. For the work that was done that is entirely too long. I will be using someone else in the future. This is not the first time this has happened.

Was on a trip with my wife and 2 dogs 4 hours from home. Had a battery issue. The service writer came up to my window and said I didnt have an appointment even though I litterally had just called and set one. Then when I explain my issue and told her that I was also a tech she said I had to wait 2 hours for testing a battery that was known completely dead (not even map lights would illuminate) i then politely asked if I could speak to a manager for some help since we were on a trip, on a hot day with 2 big dogs and she got an attitude and told some other guy he just wants a manager so some guy who i dont believe was the manager came over and continued an extremely snarky attitude to tell me I had to wait 2 hours for a battery test. I work as a technician and know a failed battery slip can be produced in 5 minutes. We do it all the time. I explained we were 4 hours from home and it was obviously dead. They had no interest in helping us only giving us attitude and telling us its 2 hours or more for a battery test. Completely unprofessional people. Also they had one car taking up the entire service lane over a time light reset. They could have had that person pull up to fit more but clearly they know nothing about efficiency. I feel bad for the people that have this dump as their local dealership.

Gave this location 2 attempts, had issues both times. Toyota Peterson had just replaced the screws on my skid plate, when I brought it to Rice Toyota for an oil change they lost one of the skid plate bolts and had to bring it back to get replaced. The second time was for a 9:10 oil change, dropped my car, headed into work. Swing back at 12:45 (3.5 hours later) they hadn’t even started work on my car, because they were backed up? They open at 9am and I am the first appointment on the books? Why are the cars scheduled not being prioritized? Overall dissatisfied, 2 attempts at an oil change, the first time they lose pieces and require a follow up service for something simple. The 2nd time they forget their scheduled customers for walks in and caused me to be late for work. Poor communication and the run-around aren’t things I look for when dealers are already over priced; I could go to Einstein’s for this kind of service and spend half as much and be out twice as quick.Go somewhere that can do the job correctly, follow appointments, and give you accurate time frames so you can plan accordingly.Will not return to this location for service.- in response to their comment, they did communicate a time, they told me 2-2.5 hours it would be finished. Keep in mind, I am the first oil change they have scheduled, so two hours is already generous. I returned 3.5 hours later! 1 extra hour than what I was told…. It is now 1:20 the Job still isn’t done. So now we are at 5 hours, over double the time I was told when I dropped my car off “for an appointment”

I have used, and will continue to use, Rice Toyota service department for servicing my Toyota vehicle. This is primarily because I know that they have factory trained mechanics, and that they use genuine Toyota replacement parts.Recently I had three services performed: replacement of the timing belt, service to brakes, and new tires.The replacement of the timing belt, along with other recommended items like the water pump which are typically done with this service, came to approximately 1400 dollars. When I got home and parked my car, I noticed that at idle the engine was surging, which it had never done before. Looking carefully at the engine, I noticed that there was a vacuum hose that was not connected at the power steering air control valve, this is sometimes called the power steering idle up valve. The vacuum hose that needed to be connected was tucked out of sight under the engine cover. I found it and reconnected it myself, and the problem was solved. I also noticed that about half of the black nylon automotive push clips that hold the upper shroud around the radiator had been broken on removal. These were simply inserted loosely in the holes of the radiator cowling. They were still broken however, and they were not performing any holding function--I could lift them out with my fingers. So I went to the auto parts store and bought replacement retainers, and installed them myself where the original retainers had been broken. Both of these issues with the timing belt replacement work seem to me like the results of rushing with the work, and not inspecting the work; my hope is that Rice Toyota will be able to address these issues in the future.A similar problem affected the installation of four new tires. Overall I am very pleased with the new tires and the installation of them. However, I specified which tire was to become the spare tire, and this was written down on the work request, but when I inspected the work on arriving home, I found that a different tire had been moved to the spare tire, and not the one that I had specified. Again, this seems like the result of working too quickly and not taking the time to review the instructions that came with the job.The third thing I had done was a full brake job, and I am very happy with the work done here, there is not problem with the job. The cost of the job was somewhat high: new front calipers and rotors were required, but I will say that the braking action is positive and smooth.Thanks Rice Toyota for your good service, and with a little more attention to detail I think your service will become outstanding.

I went for oil change tire rotate. They spent extra time I did not request to find problems. Sent me a video of my car sitting on ground. But their own signs say they are supposed to take video of the things they find wrong. They recommended 3,000 in repairs but just video of my car from out side.Later I asked to talk to the service manager since the great employee Conner who did a great customer service is no longer there. I never got a call back.

Went in to get help with my car, I purchased it as is, and the horn wasnt working, it took them 4 hours to find the issue was a fuse.$400 plus dollars, that must be some kind of joke. If the mechanics there are allegedly skilled and experienced then it should not have taken that long to discover this issue.Would never recommend this place to anyone, mechanics are a joke and service staff are slow and not helpful at all.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Online service scheduling, price transparency and Uber service is great. I have used the service center for more than 10 years. They have serviced several vehicles. I have been very pleased with the quality service provided.
