Regrettably there is no option for zero stars. For eleven years I never needed to even meet Mr. Dahlheimer. I paid my premiums in full as soon as I was notified it was time for renewal. I took over the responsibility of the homeowners policy when my mother became infirmed. I thus called the Dahlheimer agency and requested increased coverage due to appreciation in the value of the house, and also reduction of an excessive deductible my mother had selected. Seventeen days later hail damaged the roof and because the deductible was NOT REDUCED by Mr. Dahlheimer, claiming that his assistant is infallible; along with Allstates practice of Recoverable Depreciation, in my case withholding roughly 40% of the payment to me, I could not afford to replace the roof (and also therefore lost 40% of the coverage). Mr. Dahlheimer never called except to tell me that my deductible was not changed because it was my word against his assistant. If this is how you wish to be served then by all means select Mr. Duane Dahlheimer to protect you from property loss.
