I am a general contractor in the Berkshires and we have been working on finalizing the window and exterior door schedule for a while now and Trevor McDaniel has been extremely patient and knowledgeable about his products and very accommodating as far as making in-person visits to meet with everyone involved. It has been a pleasure working with such a professional sales person on a very important part of this project .

The sales service for our new Pella door was fine. Quick and easy. We set up an installation date for June 28th. Then the installation debacle began.The installer—Brian, owner of Sound Renovations out of Johnson VT—did not have the “extension package” with the trim for the door with him. He said he would send one of his carpenters back to finish the job. I have heard several stories about this over the last weeks. Either Brian forgot the trim package or Pella had not sent it depending on who is talking. The result is that I have been told that the job cannot be completed until the end of July. The installation date was June 28th.I have sent numerous emails to our sales representative, Joe Bonini, at the Greenfield Pella office. Joe has spoken with Trevor, the installation manager.They can do nothing. Apparently there are no installers available to finish the job in Vermont or neighboring states.There are other problems with the door. The door is not adjusted properly so it closes unevenly, the door is not in alignment with the jam, the latching mechanism catches on something so it makes a ripping noise when we open or close the door, the handle is loose and wobbly. None of this gives me any confidence.Pella has designated technicians to make adjustments after the installations are completed. Apparently none of them are available either. Who knows if any of the door’s problems will worsen with wear because of faulty installation.The result, because no-one will do a job that should take no more than an hour, we are left with a poorly installed door and insulation and shims protruding from our dining room wall for a month, or more. Until someone at Pella decides to do something about it.

I purchased windows for our new house from Pella. The sales reps with whom I spoke were knowledgeable and helpful - pointing out various window options as well as code issues/requirements. The windows arrived on time and in good condition. We had them installed by our own carpenter and he had no problems. So far, we really like the windows! Thank you Pella!

The whole process with Pella was smooth and we love the windows.When we were looking to replace a pair of sliding glass doors with windows, we talked with a couple of contractors and another window company before someone recommended Pella. Joe Bonini paid more attention to what we wanted and helped us figure out the details, then made sure we understood what the various steps along the way would be. We visited the South Burlington, Vermont Pella store where the staff helpfully showed us samples of what we chose. The person who came to take detailed measurements let us know what the contractors process would be so we knew what to expect. The contractor was professional, efficient, and did great work. Were thrilled with the windows and the change they made. They are so efficient that weve moved our dining table right next to the windows and are still warm during a cold January.

I purchased all new windows from Pella for my new home. In addition to the fact that the windows are gorgeous, I cannot say enough good things about our Pella rep Trevor McDaniel. He was a joy to work with from beginning to end -- courteous, professional and with a wonderful disposition. In addition, he was extremely helpful in guiding me through the more challenging aspects of the decision making while being mindful of my wallet. I love my new windows and am so appreciative of Trevor and the folks at Pella for making the process so seamless.

We have been working with Pella on a new house build in Northampton due to break ground in a week. So far the process has been a breath of fresh air. Trevor is knowledgeable, responsive, and accommodating. We finished paying the deposit a couple weeks ago now for a full set of windows and 3 outside doors, he took the time to go over everything one last time and we changed up the final finish to make sure it matched our changes. I will update this listing once the windows are in, but Trevor has given us great value so far!

I have bought over 100 Pella windows & doors over the years. Brad Chamberlain & Deb Tyler are a true asset to the Pella organization at Pella Windows & Doors of Greenfield. They are very responsive & dedicated to detail.They have brought items to my attention in the quote, that I did not notice. Over our years in Deerfield, we have replaced the kitchen windows, then the bedroom windows, and now were about to replace our big living room windows. Trevor McDaniel has come out to our house each time, explained very carefully our options, given us clear quotes and descriptions of what each quote would include, and connected us with excellent people to do the work. We rely on Trevor whenever we have window needs and for our latest project he showed up in a mask, was careful with social distancing and described how we can do the work safely. We recently replaced all the doors and windows in our ten-year old house. We originally installed a very cutting edge Canadian firms triple glazed windows and doors; the hardware never worked easily and the companys products were not designed for nor equipped with screens. But we were happy until finally, we simple werent. So we chose Pella for the total replacement project. In terms of appearance theres very little difference visually. But with Pella we have triple glazing that controls solar glare, we have between-glass blinds that brilliantly and easily control sunlight and privacy and - best of all - we have screens! When you live in the country in western Massachusetts you want to be able to fling open all the doors and windows on a glorious sunny day and enjoy all that fresh air - without insects.Pellas crews were profession, courteous, efficient, clear communicators, and did an amazing job replacing the doors and windows with identical trim and finishes. Since this work was done during the pandemic, we were grateful that Pella and their personnel all rigorously followed recommended health practices.For us, a final reason for choosing Pella is simply that we have a nationally recognized company with a laudable track record and decades of experience right here: if there were ever to be a problem, its solution would be simple. In our case there apparently was a problem: Pella noticed a tiny flaw on one door hinge - wed have never noticed it. They insisted on replacing the entire door panel.Sitting here at home, writing this review, I look around and once again realize that we made the right decision to go with Pella. I kick myself for not having used the western Pella people in the first place.

At first all I knew is I wanted more light in the kitchen and I wasn’t sure how to get it. Jason Wilkinson’s vision of replacing a double hung with a sliding door was hard to imagine at first. They even cleaned the windows inside and out and vacuumed. I think they left my house cleaner than when they started!

Pella of Greenfield will not offer or install any less than 4windows, so dont even think about calling them for one or two windows. Nice on the phone, but their products and services have limitations. Good luck.

We are in love with our new windows which are aesthetically pleasing, provide us with warmth this winter and an unobstructed clear view. Brad helped us in designing a couple of custom windows which, with the choice of nickel hardware provided the “icing on the cake”. I have done a lot of searching and reviewing resources for two windows that I needed and a patio door. I have gone to many retailers in my own town and surrounding towns. I have also gone to Lowes and Home Depot. My son recommended Pella. I found the Greenfield, Ma location. Since this is only about 40 min from my home I thought I take a drive and check it out. I am renovating a 1776 house. I needed a beautiful front door with sidelights, a transom and trim. Who knew buying a door was so complex??!! Trevor was outstanding.
