Poor communication. Poor customer service. was quoted 875 for the job. Went to pick up vehicle and was told the total was 984. When asked about the price difference, I was told basically, they ordered and quoted the wrong part, had to reorder and that was the price difference. They didnt call to notify or okay the price difference just went ahead with it to keep up and get other things done. When I got there, after not being call, they said they just had to get the receipt.....which took 40 minutes! 5 other people came in and out no problem.Again, terribly poor customer service, communication and overall all interaction. Had they simply communicated with me or my husband (who also called to check and was left on hold for 15mins while they checked, only to be hung up on) I probably wouldnt have had an issue with the price...but because they dont know how to communicate, I had to pay the difference for THEIR mistakes.Its sad really, we took the car there because we were hoping to find a local shop to support and that could service all of our cars and work vehicles as well. We will not be returning and hopefully the work done on my car was done well. Only time will tell, but avoid this place if you are wanting timely service, decent communication and even somewhat quality customer service!

Daves Garage provided me high quality services on my vehicle. They provided me honest recommendations for some other issues with it too. They truly want what is best for the customer and will go the extra mile for them.

I sent my car in with a tire that kept leaking. It turned out to be a nail and they plugged it for $20.00. These guys could have lied to me and sold me a whole new tire, but they are honest and trustworthy. I took them 2 dozen donuts then next day to thank them for their honesty. My husband & I have taken our two Prius cars for emission tests at Daves for several years, but Daves will now get any other service we need! During this Covid-19 pandemic we need to support our small business owners!!!!

Site says they do emissions just to show up with a hard written sign on door saying no emissions today. Waste of my time.

E I felt like I was on a horror movie set. Went for emissions but the conveniently had a sign on the door stating NO EMISSIONS TODAY.second time I stopped in the past 2 weeks. Tons of what appeared to be junked cars took up a majority of the parking spaces. Yeah, no.

Do not use this garage. They’re way out of line. Mother in law took her car there to do a diagnostic check. They told her it needed a timing chain and said $2000.00. Garage down the street charged $975.00. Mother in law went to get her car and he charged her 200 to hook a OEM Meter up to it. Huge rip off.

Ive been going to Daves Garage for about 30 years. I very never complained about poor workmanship. Like one other garage on Forest Home Avenue. Daves prices are less than other garages in the area and use higher quality parts. I used one other Garage on Forest Home Avenue for a brake job, because I couldnt get it in at Daves. And ended up paying $910.00 for front and rear. And the pads they used were carbon and didnt last 15,000 miles. I took the vehicle in three times and the owner didnt seem surprised my hub caps were black from the pads even though I get my car washed every two weeks. I would never go to a garage that doesnt have a name just letters. I learned a lesson never leave a good auto repair shop for haist, just because you cant get in.

Never had a problem with there service there. Untill today, been a long time customer. But when you call a day before to get a job done the next day and you say no problem. You should at least look at the car that day.They said they might look at at it tomorrow or maybe the next day.Sorry if you would of called me I would still be a customer but to go there to pick up when you said it would be done and not you didnt even look at it yet is unacceptable.

All I wanted them to do is to check if I had a exhaust leak and they where going to charge me 100 and some dollers for that and plus the part and labor of course and the young kid was really a brat at the front desk

Went to Daves Garage on a whim since it is close to my house (within walking distance). I recently had work done on my brakes nearby at a competitor and was very happy with their service, but their prices were way high. They quoted me at $950+ for front struts on my car. Daves Garage quoted me at $650 plus the did the required front-end alignment without a separate charge. Work was done quick (within the day) and my car seems to be in great condition.Would have loved one of those extras like a quick car wash or an air freshener but those add to the price ultimately. I will definitely be coming back to Daves Garage.

Terrible. Just awful auto repair. Took my 2009 Toyota Camry into them for repair and when I get the car back, the air cleaner assembly is sitting in the back seat. So I call them and ask why is the air cleaner assembly sitting in the back seat to which they reply, The bolts were missing so we put it in the back seat. Now this was a fully assembled auto that I took to them for an estimate. Now this was a fully assembled auto that I took to them for repair and now I wouldn’t trust these clowns to repair my bicycle after this.

These guys are fabulous! Honest & fair price! They identified the brake noise as just rust. Didnt try to charge for something that did not need to be done. Mike, the guy that use to be behind the counter, has been a complete gentleman and even pumps up our bike tires when we wobble in!

Do not go to Daves Garage. They will lie to you with a straight face.I went today (April 15,2016) To have them fix a rattling Brake Pad.I was quoted $140.00 for the job This included the $5.00 anti rattle clip and tightening the bolts of my splash guardI did not proceed with the service. (You can install an anti rattle clip in less than 10 min.)I was charged $40.00 for them to look at it and and was told they tighten my splash guard. Which they did not do. They flat out lied to me.There was not splash guard installed. I removed The splash guard In February 2016. so what exactly did they tighten? nothing.I will never step foot in this place again

Several times I have taken my car here and received shoddy repairs.I had a Honda Civic with a much needed muffler repair, they sawed off the previous muffler and poorly welded on an incorrect fit - all due to their laziness of actually ordering a muffler that would fit the car properly. Their welded muffler fell off within the week and they tried to charge me to have it welded back on again. Unreal, I turned around and had a friend replace it with the correct part - for close to free!Again, years later, I returned to have my transmission looked at for poor shifting from 1rst to 2nd - they tried to charge me to have the entire thing replaced for well over the cost, claiming the entire thing was toast, an estimated $4000 repair of what would cost me only $1,700 to get ahold of the parts myself. I immediately took my car to another garage... turns out it was a LOOSE BOLT in the drive shaft! $250 repair, no problems since.They also consistently wait until you call them to tell you whats going on, then act as if theyre the ones doing you a favor - its 4:30pm, you close at 5, is my vehicle done or what?! Sorry, weve been busy. Yeah, me too, would you look at that!I will never take a vehicle back there. What years ago used to be a place I swore by, I no longer see fit to even look at my vehicles. If they can get away with doing the cheapest (but not on your wallet) shittest job, they will. Other members of my family and friends have also had problems with them, but I am content to only speak for myself.If you have money to blow and time to waste, try them out and see for yourself.
