Only gave one star just to post this review. Absolutely pathetic. Sign up service, they come out, Youre 50 feet too far from the pole. Finally get informed it will be $1257 upfront to run the line from the pole and would be 90 days before it could be done. REALLY !!!!!!! For a company that has exlusive rights (A Monopoly) on the whole county you should have service everywhere by now. Everyone all around us has service. You really shouldnt jerk people around.

Service girl that helped me was great. Comcast is the pits. I am searching other alternatives at present. She helped me to lower my bill from $215 a month to $150 a month. But now, we have no selection to watch. Especially late night. All infomercials. NOT worth $150 a month by a long shot. And trying to get help is impossible. I am looking at new options for sure.

After My second call with completely different stats even a difference in the price, they said it would be a week before they came out. On that day when the time past that they were suppose to come out I called and was told they rescheduled me to the following Monday. When I asked why they said because of the weather and it wasnt doing anything. So I canceled and went to century link hope I get better service.

Never ending problems from day one almost 2 yrs to get internet cable buried right added channels was never able to get channels to work tech support couldnt even help wanted to charge us 70 just to send someone out gave us the wrong channel package want wants us to pay for 3 months cable service we could not use and getring thru to an agent is unreal we will do without internet and cable better than dealing with this mess of a company

You better drop the data caps and up the speed these kind of options will be coming to our County soon, Fort Collins Connexion in Colorado, the new fiber-to-the-home municipal option, costs $59.95 a month for 1Gbps download and 1Gbps upload speeds, with no data caps, contracts, or installation fees. Theres a $15 monthly add-on fee to cover Wi-Fi, but customers can avoid that fee by purchasing their own router. Fort Collins Connexion also offers home phone service, and it plans to add TV service later on.

The service staff reached with the numbers provided, were kind and helpful. But they were completely unable to get me anyone, during a regular business day, that I could talk to who is LOCAL, for dealing with a new planned home service site! They claimed to give me numbers different than the number advertised here where I live. But the result was always the same--an answering machine/computer system. I tried 5 times and finally gave up. I will physically go to the local office.

Horrible. They have millions of customers and they have no 24/7 coverage? Hows that possible? And why do they wait until you authenticate to only tell you then that theyre closed (after entering in all your account numbers etc!) and to all back during regular business hours. Of course they dont tell you what those hours are.....morons.

I made a formal complaint against Comcast (a/k/a Xfinity) with TN Dept of Consumers Affairs and Comcast responded with a confirmation that indeed they pre-charge their customers in addition to locking them in a 2-year contract. So, be aware that in addition to being locked into a contract without your asking for it, or even being aware of, you are also going to be required (per their TOS) to prepay your bill and if you dont prepay on the due date shown on the bill, which is a date prior to your fully using a 30-day cycle of service, they will add a “late” fee for not prepaying “on time” a service you didn’t even use yet! This is the most deceitful company I ever dealt with in my life.

Worst company in America. Was told when we canceled our business Internet and went to residential TV and Internet that we would not be charged a cancellation fee. A year later we get a collection bill in the mail for close to $2000. After being told three times that we would not be charged. Now the only way to get rid of it they say is to pick up the service again.

Worst cable company I have ever dealt with!! HUGE language barrier with customer service. Horrible connectivity and service. I would give -5 stars if i could. If youre thinking about getting this service, dont. I wish someone would have given me a heads up before I signed up. The only good thing I can say about this company is the 2nd technician that came out, Cody Schumaker, was awesome. He gets 5 stars by himself. Sad that he works for such an awful company.

I moved and just want to say that Brentwood area has same problems I reported on previous review...hoped for better and got worst from Comcast. Weekends internet is dropping all the time, evenings same...guess they cannot handle peak hours. Now waiting to test a different company in this area

This company amazingly robs people and gets away with it. The 800-xfinity customer service center is a joke. They have no idea how to help people with questions regarding accounts. They tell you they are transferring you to one department and when someone finally does answer you have not been transferred where they told you.The local office is even worse. All they do is point and click and they cant help with much else. If you go there to pay bill in person there is only 1 or 2 windows open and people lined up to the door. If you ask particular questions about your account they clam up and play dumb.All these people really know how to do is answer the phone, point and click and take your money. Beyond that theres no one to talk to for straight or honest answers. They deserve a -100 on the rating system in my opinion. Absolutely wish we had another cable provider in this area. Comcast, and Xfinity stink. I have a constitutional right to Freedom of speech and I am exercising that right.

Basically just an outlet to pay bill or turn in or pickup your cable and internet equipment.They do not address any problems you might be having in hooking up your equipment..They just give you a sheet of instructions.But employees are nice .But any problems has to be addressed thru an 800 number.!

CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!Terrible company. Crappy service and internet. NO BUSINESS SUPPORT. Locked into a 3 year business service contract signed by a employee who was fired and did not have the authority to bind the business in an agreement. Would not release our company from the contract. Kept us in the contract paying for sub-par service at insane prices. TDS could provide faster fiber optic service to us for 50% less each month!!!!!!!

Comcast/Xfinity has hugely questionable billing practices, pre-charging their customers for services not fully used yet, a very clear pre-payment demand practice, else you will be charged a late fee, if not paid on time for services you didnt even use yet!! My 1st bill was due on April 22 (which was 8 days prior to a full 30-day usage cycle, covering from April 1st to April 30th). The 2nd bill changed the due date to May 16, now 14 days prior to a full 30-day usage cycle. (See bill image attached.). This is a clear attempt to make the customer to pre-pay! If the customer would pay at the end of the 30-day billing cycle, which would be the normal to happen, the customer is then charged a $10 late fee. This is a scam to extract monies from their customers.

For the past couple of days they slow my internet to 0.5 gigs. Yes 0.5 gigs! When you call they say we can send out a technician at my expense. With no estimate of what it cost i may add. Claiming the problem is on my end... yes comcast my ethernet cable breaks its self at night and repairs its self by day... these are the kind of ploys a greedy conglomerate will use to suck its victims dry i mean customers ..oops. its time for a change.

It takes HOURS and tons of transfers before you can get an answer out of anyone, even the higher ups. Will never do business with them again.

I know there are tons of negative reviews, and maybe they average out that way. But I thought Id just come on here and say that I just had the greatest experience with ComCast customer service. After getting through their stupid automated system, I talked with the nicest operator who was extremely personable and friendly and took time to research my weird, complicated problem. She just sounded like the type of person youd want to hang out with, while still being super professional and efficient. Ive heard such horrible things about ComCast customer service, so I was prepared for the worst. But I got the best! :-)

I would give zero stars if possible. Have encountered nothing but issues and havent even had the service hooked up yet. When I called to hook up my service, I was given a rate of $ 99.99 per month for unlimited internet, streaming tv and phone. Went on chat to hook it up about 2 hours later and was told, oh no, it is an additional $ 25.00 to have unlimited internet. Lie # 1. Since I have limited internet choices - I work from home and my daughter does online college, I had to use Comcast unfortunately. So, I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks ahead, got the date and time. Got a phone call on my cell 3 days ahead to confirm services, price and date. Night before, get a phone call on my work voicemail (mind you I have to have internet to check that) confirming the guaranteed arrival time of 10 to 12 the next day. Next morning, I am waiting and no one shows. I use my hot spot to check my email at work on a fluke and found both the message from the night before and a new message advising they didnt have enough manpower in the field to complete my installation as promised and wasnt sure it would be done at all that day, but could do it the next day. I went through hours of phone calls, on holds, etc to be promised by a manager that the local dispatch would call me back within an hour and half to advise when the tech would be out that afternoon to install. Waited and still no call, no tech. Called back and was told sorry, no tech, no install, we are sorry. I have since emailed the presidents office and advised them of their sorry, poor customer service and that I expected a phone call back from the president first thing next day. I urge all Greene County, TN residents to push the commissioners that sign contracts for these services to allow for more choices, such as Spectrum, AT & T, etc, to be allowed in so we as residents have more choices for our services as well as prices. Spectrum offers unlimited internet at 300 mps for $ 70 a month. That is much better than Comcast and much nicer customer service reps that work hard to please their customers.

We have had comcast in our home for around a year now and I must say we have the worst internet I have ever had in my life. Of course, the technicians are from the Philippines or elsewhere. Our internet has been sporadic for quite a while. All they did was ping the modem, and then say that the modem is alright. Minutes later, the internet quit again. If the modem is alright, then it is the ISP.
