I had tried to get my female rescue in to be spayed and all the vets that I contacted were either booked, or didn’t spay an animal that weighed over 50 pounds. It was so frustrating. A friend recommended East Tennessee veterinarian. I called them and got my dog in within a week. They were very kind and professional. No extra surprises ($$$). I highly recommend. I traveled over an hour and will again. Well worth it

Your pets are in good hands at ETVH 🐾The doctors, techs and office staff are professional and compassionate towards their patients. They love what they do and it shows! (We’ve seen Dr. Gilbert and Dr. Basket). They are friendly and open to questions and concerns. The office staff is excellent in setting up appointments, with timely call backs and general questions. My experience with ETVH has been outstanding!

My Dog doesnt care for a Vet. But they are polite and professional and he tolerates them...lol

The vet techs will stay with you and your fur baby until the vet comes in to do what they need to do and everyone there is so kind and welcoming. I really do love this place!!!! I’m a little confused on the two different locations, but I went to the one in gray and I’m just floored by how great the service was !! I have had the worst experiences with vets, I’ve been to various different ones all across different states in the south. I almost always leave feeling like I didn’t get any answers and was forced to buy some random meds that don’t ever work, or like they just wanted me to shut up and leave already. He was super thorough, and listened to all my concerns. I have been putting off going to the vet for a while so I had A LOT to say. He was extremely patient, even though I kept going in circles and bringing up random things I had just remembered (sorry about that 😂). He straight up asked me what all I wanted to have done which is a total first for me and really really awesome! He also said he wants me to leave feeling like we accomplished something and from that point on I was totally sold, thats all I’ve ever wanted when I go to the vet. I am just so happy to have finally found a good vet, one that lets me ask questions and doesn’t get annoyed and rude with me. A weight is lifted off my shoulders knowing I have a place I can go if anything happens to my babies, I felt so alone and helpless before. I used to hate the vet and now I can’t wait to go back! The woman at the front desk was so nice as well. Y’all are amazing, thank you so so much, you don’t realize how hard it is to find a kind and caring vet!!

The staff here is awesome always friendly & take excellent care of the animals they see! Took our female cat here to be spayed their price was affordable & took great care of her. They always make sure you understand & don’t care to answer any questions you may have. I would recommend them to anyone looking for vet care & they are also an animal hospital as well.

Ive had to call them a few times with my sheep. Dr Basket even came out at midnight to help with a uterine prolapse. She did a great job and the ewe survived. Its hard to find reliable, professional vets that do farm calls. Thanks east TN and Dr Basket .

This visit was not pleasant. My dog was very sick and the doc came in for emergancy. I lost my baby . Doc was very kind and showed compassion. He did his best. I appreciate him coming in on a weekend.

Absolutely amazing staff and doctors! Thorough and understanding. Have been having health issues with one of my fur babies for quite some time and kept getting the same answer from all other places we took her. Finally took her to ETVH and they were very understanding and offered actual solutions and gave us plenty of time for real discussion and finally found a potentially different options that could give us a solution! Highly recommend them for household pets and most likely (though not my personal experience) for large animals too!

Can’t say enough about this place. I have been taking my 3 dogs and 8 cats here for going on 6 years now. All of the Doctors there are very knowledgeable, caring and willing to do anything they can to make sure you have happy healthy critters. The Staff is also excellent. They are willing to do anything to help you and your animals. On numerous occasions, they have helped me get my animals in and out of my vehicle when I couldn’t. Plus, if you can’t get there for some reason, they will come to your house or farm for a small fee. It’s worth it when you have a lot of animals. Overall, I wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else because I know how much they really care about everyone’s pets.

Excellent! They have taken care of both our cats, one of whom was injuried very young. Very caring, great prices, and very knowledgeable staff. I can not recommend them enough.

Absolutely love East TN Veterinary hospital! We transferred from our old vet after being with them for 15+ years and we’re welcomed with open arms by the staff. East TN takes care of all my German Shepherds and cats. They rushed a vet in for my mother’s cat who lost a leg and you could tell they were very genuine and happy to help us. Everyone is always so happy and helpful!

We recently moved to East Tennessee from Washington State with two horses and two dogs. One of our dogs is 10 years old with Addison’s Disease. The move and new environment triggered a crisis which had us seeking emergency help from East Tennessee Veterinary Hospital. Every person we’ve worked with, from Shawna at reception to assistants Courtney, Carrie and Noah to Drs Gilbert, Baskett and Taylor have been nothing more than exceptional! This, by far, has been the most difficult crisis we’ve ever had but the staff haven’t given up. They’ve provided excellent care to Lola and to me, her worried, tearful owner. Should we have to make a hard decision, I know, without a doubt, they have done everything possible.

All the veterinarians at East Tennessee Veternary Hospital are the best. Dr.Gilbert worked with us to help figure out what was wrong with our sweet Rebel and we appreciate all she did. We also use their boarding services and our sweet boy loves all the staff because they spoil him and make sure he has everything he needs.Dr. Dulaney is such wonderful person who is always willing to help on the farm as well as teach young people about the life of a veterinarian. Highly recommend East Tn Vet. Next best vet to Dr. Reel and Dr. OConnor in Morristown at Southern Care Vet. When you have three good vets such as these guys I would recommend anyone one to them in a heartbeat!!Dr. Dulaney was very caring and sincere while we were losing our golden retriever Jake last Saturday. Although he had to be put to sleep but before that Dr. Dulaney tried everything he could as well as his staff. I am very grateful to them on what felt like the worse day of our lives losing him. He was such a sweet boy.

Dr. Bailey took her time examining my dog, Princess, and was very thorough. When we found out Princess was heartworm positive, Katy eased a lot of my concerns and provided with us with all of the details about her condition & treatment. Dr. Bailey and the staff are so friendly and their love for animals shows. They took wonderful care of Princess throughout her entire treatment and I trust them completely. I wish there were more vets out there like them. They will definitely not dissapoint you.Thank yall so much for everything!

My kittie got an infection after being attacked by what we dont know. They were so gentle with her.

I took my dachshund in for a teeth cleaning and they did an excellent job. He was ready to go home that afternoon and has been more than his chipper self.

This veterinarian just literally killed my daughters dog. 6 week old pup that went in the office that could walk and just needed fluids and worm meds. Now lays here dead. Beware people stay away from this place if you want your animal to live.
