Very interesting historical building used as a banquet hall by the village. While old, seemed well maintained.
I was there for some training. The fan/ventilation system was a bit loud but it was a nice space for training.
Charming and great event space. Easy to access and use. It is a building with great history. Fabulous for local families and groups to use.The Village of Greendale utilizes the space in the Hose Tower constantly for events, from Dickens in Village, 4th of July celebration, to Village Days.
Helped host a bridal shower here with the matron of honor and other bridesmaids. I cannot comment on cost due to another host covering that area. It was a clean, large space for the bridal shower. I guess theyre pretty strict about the clean up process and end time of rental. Overall it was a great place for an event.
Really nice experience! Layout was a little tight and chaotic but other than that we had a great time! We went there for a sampling event of local businesses and all of the places we tried were excellent. I cant wait to come back again and see what else they have going on!
Please think twice about renting this place. They double book, and do not even realize it. We booked the place, filled out all of the paperwork, and put our deposit down. We even received a confirmation email. We booked the place back in July of 2018 for a bridal shower on May 4th, 2019. The shower invites have gone out, and now we are trying to find another venue. Please do not book this venue for your event! They did not handle this situation very well!
My youngest son and his fiancee had their wedding shower there, it was the place. It looks like something new in Greendale, older building new purpose.
The entire village is so charming! Spend an hour or a day checking out the village shops.
Historic Fire House in the Village of Greendale. The inside of the building has been restored and you can rent it out for special events.
In the early days of the village of Greendale the “Hose Tower” was used for a variety of purposes including a police station and fire department. The name derives from the firemen hanging their hoses to dry inside the building. In the past decade, the Tower has been renovated and now serves as a community room that can be rented for a variety of purposes. The parking is plentiful and it is handicapped accessible. It is in the center of downtown Greendale.
Love the place, but had to wait 1/2 hour because staff didnt show up to unlock on time
Perfect place for a shower, but we could not gain access till a hour later
Nice place for a small party
Great place to rent for meetings /celebrations.
