Tried to buy a ring from Zales, used my debit card and purchase went through on my end. They had a computer issue and said they did not see it go through. I showed them the transaction on my online banking and they still refused to give me the ring or a refund. Now I am sitting for the 3rd day without a refund from this company or any merchandise to show for the use of my money. On hold for for over an hour everyday, all they can tell me is they sent an email to their audit team. Complete and utter theft, if no resolution, will be forced to file a criminal complaint. Already filed a report with BBB. Watch yourself if shopping here, bring actual cash. Otherwise you will be out of luck.***Update*** 3 weeks later and still no refund, now the customer service line refuses to speak to me because I filed a BBB complaint. this place should be shut down. Lack of responsibility and outright theft!
First, Im happy theyre open but not happy with the fact that they need a manager to stand by there promise to resize the ring I ordered at there outlet on line. Whatd two months now and my girlfriend still cant wear her ring. Ill let you know The update on the second.
I wish I could give zero stars, they dont even deserve one. My fiance bought my ring from Zales, less than a year later I had a diamond fall out, sent it in to get fixed. Covid happened...they had my ring for 4 MONTHS without a word. When they finally opened I had called about where my ring was and they couldnt find it. Called me 3 days later to let me know it was ready for pick up. Their system crashed while they were closed and basically told me if I remembered where the blueprint of my diamond is, they would show me it. I saw it one time, a year ago and was told I do not need to remember seeing as ita in their system, which they no longer have. Long story short(ish) we brought my rings to a different jeweler to get saulter and I got the worst news. They wouldnt let us waist money on it because over half of the diamonds on all 3 bands are loose, there isnt enough gold in the brackets to even hold the diamonds and our wedding is less than 2 weeks away and I dont have a ring and Im extremely upset and distraught over this and their terrible customer service. DO NOT SHOP AT ZALES! take your money elsewhere!
The sales woman I had was absolutely amazing! She was very knowledgeable and patient with me even though I was extremely indecisive (I have never worn jewelry before). Zales was so much more pleasant than other jewelers I had looked at where the sales people were pushy and rude.
Im glad that I went in before reading the reviews! I was at the bay park square location and the customer service was wonderful! The young lady was more than happy to pull out many rings for my boyfriend and I to see (because I am so indecisive ha!) She smiled the whole time and was beyond friendly and happy for us!! This was just for a promise ring but we definitely plan on staying with Zales!
I really would like to not rate even one star but this site doesn’t allow it. Worked with the manager “Michelle” for several weeks. I had to constantly call her as she never returned my calls and every time she had an excuse as to why she didn’t get my ring in and blamed either the vendor or the main office of Zales. We came several times from out of town. Finally after wasting several weeks of our time we walked across the mall to “Kay Jewelers” and had excellent customer service and walked out happy with our purchase.
Everyone who works here is super friendly and helpful. I hope your scissors work great now! Esthers smile alone will make your trip here worth it.
Absolutely do not give these people your business unless all you want are issues. First they charged my credit card twice and it was a big trouble getting my money back. Then they ordered the wrong size ring. After that my girlfriend had the ring for a day and one of the diamond fell off. But that must just be how they operate because they didn’t do anything to fix there mess ups.
Honestly I wish I could give less stars. My now fiancé proposed to me with a ring from Zales and I loved it. Four days after the proposal the ring was starting to already fall apart so we brought it in to see what could be done. We explained the situation and the woman at the counter legit just shrugged at us and said verbatim “It is what is is, these things happen over time”. I again explained it has been FOUR days and she shrugged at me again. We were told we could get it sent back to get repaired, it would be 3 weeks until I got it back, but the same thing would happen again. I didn’t want to do that so we were showed different rings and later I looked them all up online and had horrible reviews with the same issues I’m having. We are going to be returning our ring as we bought one from another jeweler who has great reviews, amazing customer service and do your repairs same day in house for free. I’m just so disappointed with Zales. It was supposed to be the biggest moment of my life and when four days later this ring I’m supposed to wear forever is already messed up and they shrug it off and tell me they can send it in for 3 weeks and it’ll just happen again once a month, nah.

I went into the store to make a Christmas purchase for my daughter and wife and had a bad experience with one of the sales ladies. this was the first time I have had a bad experience. I have spent quite a sizable amount in this store and am quite dissapointed that I had bad experience. I will make one more attempt to make my purchases hopefully with better customer service. I went to one of your neighbors stores and spent money which would have been made in your store
Wish I could give something lower than 0 stars. My fiance and I found an engagement ring online that I feel in love with but we didnt know what ring size I was so we decided to stop into our local Zales. (Bay Park Square, 631 Bay Park Square Green Bay, WI) The ring was there so we purchased it but since Im a size 4 it had to be special ordered. We were told it would be 4-6 weeks and they would call us when it came into the store. It took 14 weeks to receive the ring we ordered. Not to mention the absolutely horrible customer service their employees. Stopped in 6 weeks after we ordered the ring to check on it and we were told it should come in any day. Stopped in 9 weeks after we ordered and and were told that it should come in any day. Called about it 11 weeks in and asked about it and were told that he would contact special orders department and then call us back to let us know how much longer it would take. Never got a call back. Stopped in 13 weeks after we ordered it and the lady said that she would set the receipt out and have the man who sold us the ring track it down and call us later that evening. Never got a call. Again. 14 weeks after we purchased we stopped in and I told the employee my problem and she got an attitude and acted like she had something better to do. The ring was finally there but I couldnt pick it up because my fiance wasnt there. We stopped in the next day and I finally got my ring. 14 weeks later. Purchased 12/19/14 revived 3/27/15. Absolutely ridiculous. AND WE NEVER RECEIVED AN ACTUAL CALL THAT THE RING WAS IN THE STORE READY TO BE PICKED UP. Honestly the ring still is a bit too big, slides around under my knuckle a good amount, but I will never deal with that horrible company again unless I absolutely have to. Very disappointing.
Was glad I didnt read the reviews before going to Zales. Apparently going on a Wednesday evening is a smart idea. We were two of only two other customers and my fiance and I were looking for the ring. Jean, who hails from Ireland, was gracious and very pleasant to deal with. She paid attention to my concerns and was very helpful in getting us the best deal on the ring I fell in love with. And my fiance liked it as well. Just hoping what has been said about the wait time proves false. My ring is supposed to be back by May 26th, so well see what happens.
Fantastic jewelry..but now that were able to create our rocks from lasers...prices shouldve plummeted.
Im only giving two stars because my rings are beautiful and I enjoyed working with Michelle. I love my rings from Zales but have been let down by them twice now. The first time my ring was sent in to be soldered, my receipt said $0 for the soldering and no one said anything about a charge. When they came back they were not soldered with no explanation besides oops they must have forgot. Now Im sending it in for a second time (three weeks each time) and Im suddenly being told that it will cost me $52 to get soldered and no one has told me its not covered by the warranty I purchased until now. Two strikes, what will be the third. Im never buying anything from Zales again most likely.
Every time I go to Zales I experience the worst customer service ever. Its either because of my race or its because they think I look too young to be buying anything. I just feel angry every time I leave Zales. It always takes 10+ minutes to get my ring cleaned. And all the workers always want to help everyone else but me (especially the girls who work there). The Zales in Appleton is much more friendly and outgoing.
Stood at the counter for 15-20mins without any acknowledgement. There were two employees helping two other customers when I arrived. Which is understandable. But when two more customers came in and were helped before myself thats when Id had enough. I walked over to Rodgers and Hollands and had excellent customer service. Spent over $600 on a Christmas present. Your loss Zales.
I brought my Anniversary ring to Zales to have 6 prongs on it replaced. After a day, a sales lady called me and said the jeweler recommended I have all 12 prongs replaced. I knew that there wasn’t anything wrong with the others, and I couldn’t really afford to have all 12 prongs fixed anyways. I told the lady no thank you and to please just have the jeweler replace the 6 I had asked for. She called me back a few hours later and told me that the jeweler said if I didn’t have all 12 prongs fixed, they would not fix any! When I told her I would be picking my ring up and bringing it somewhere else, she hung up on me! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Terrible customer service and very over priced!!
Sent my girlfriends engagement in to get sized so I could propose. Had good service and was told it should be around 3 weeks and I would get a call and an email when it was in. Tonight I called (I know it was close to closing so I expected some rudeness but it was after I had work and school) and asked if they knew the status of my ring. The woman said it was in and I was shocked and asked why I didnt receive a phone call. She told me that someone called twice and she doesnt know why I didnt receive a call. I then asked if she could tell me what days and times someone tried calling and she said I dont know that I just know someone called. I got angry and said well if you know someone called twice why cant you tell me when they called? How do you know someone called twice? and she again said she didnt know. I then asked about why I didnt receive an email and she said corporate sends those out so she knows nothing about it. Extremely upset and disappointed.
Worse Jeweler ever is Michelle who has MAJOR commitment issues. We paid to expedite my wifes ring which still isnt here. I did not get a call from Michelle I had to call to be placed on hold.Only to come back and find out she doesnt know where my wifes ring is. But says Ill call you in the morning, which is another commitment issue. She said she called the vendor and they were closed!!! LIAR again I ask for a manager and she tells me she is the manager.I then ask for someone above her who is the GM and he would get back to me by tomorrow because its late in the day which Im totally ok with.Tomorrow rolls around and no call from a GM, so I call Zales back for Michelle and I get hung up on. Well accident right so call back and now it just rings.I have had to make all the commitments, calls, because she has COMMITMENT issues and service issues. If I was getting married this weekend it would be RUINED due to incompetence, lack of empathy, not caring, lieing, and give you what I want to sell not what I want to buy.Save your money and time and walk right across the courtyard to the other jewelry store.
Seriously... The assistantManager showed up a half hour late to opening the store on Sunday and was annoyed with me... Its 11:25. You should have been here a half hour early to get your stuff in order. I am a Loyal Zales shopper but probably going to drive to a different location. Very disappointed.
