Quite honestly, I was amazed how poorly my windshield replacement went here. First, the tech who came to our house had the wrong windshield. Second, we had to wait two more days to reschedule the installation due to their mess up and reschedule to come into their Green Bay shop. Third, they called the morning we were supposed to take the car back in and said that they had to reschedule again for a later time that day. Fourth, when we came back and dropped the car off they said it would take an hour and they would call. Fifth, when we came back an hour and a half later because no one called, they told me it would be 15 minutes later. Sixth, over 45 minutes later they said it was done but that they broke the seal around the window and tried to fix it by apparently smearing black tar around the window and taping it (also saying that if the windshield comes off just bring it back in and theyd fix it--super reassuring). Lastly, rather than offer a discount for the horrible screw ups, they charged an additional 4% fee for credit card transactions (because who uses credit cards nowadays), which they never disclosed in advance. Word of advice: pay the extra $$ to have your windshield replaced elsewhere!

Had my windshield replaced few weeks ago, had the tech come to my house to do it. Excellent and lowest prices in area. They don’t charge to have tech come to your house or place of employment. Tech was very professional, very good, and can tell he cares about his work. Great personality

Id imagined replacing my windshield would cost twice what it did, so I drove around with a crack for about a year. I worsened the crack on a Sunday, made a call on Monday and by Tuesday at 10:45 AM, I had a new windshield. They came to my place of business and replaced it in the parking lot. It had to have been 90 degrees out by the time my tech - Nick, was done. I shouldve tipped him, but I didnt think of it at the time as I was running late for a meeting. Guy was drenched, but it seemed clear he enjoyed giving great service.I would do business with them again based on price alone - a little over $200 for a new windshield on a 2007 Jeep Commander. Combine that with the convenience factor and I am happy to take the time to write a positive Google review.Most of my experiences with auto repair of any sort are neutral at best. Nothing ever seems to happen fast and I cant remember ever thinking a repair was cheaper than I expected. That is why this interaction stands out. It was pure over delivery on their part. I cant say enough about how positive the experience was.

Tech Dan is super friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to rearrange his schedule to accommodate my work schedule the same day and come to me earlier than expected. My windshield was replaced within an hour and is spotless. Great work, much appreciated.Best price in the area as well.

I had great lakes glass replace the windshield in my 91 Honda civic after getting several quotes from other companies and finding none that were as competitive as Great Lakes Glass. They were great to work with and the price included mobile installation! I was only in the area for a few days and Dan met me at my hotel over lunch hour and quickly replaced my windshield. Dan was fast, courteous and did an excellent job. I would recommend Great Lakes Glass and Dan N. to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst service I have ever had. Called to set up an appointment, received a reasonable quote, technician came at the right time. All of this was great until once the windshield was in place. Epoxy was left on the car seat which stained our clothes then the rear view mirror fell off within an hour. When asked to come back and fix it the technician said he could later in the afternoon. At 3pm we called to see if he was coming back and was told he would be here in 1 hour. By 5:15 still no technician. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes for the manager to address my call, my faith in repairing the windshield the same day was out the window. The technician did arrive at about 5:45 to fix the mirror but even as he was fixing it he was telling the other technician what should have been done. Another half hour later the job was done. I pray the damn thing doesnt fall off on the freeway tomorrow. If you want good, reliable service, dont go here.

VERY happy I found this company!!! Some juvenile delinquents shot out the drivers side window on my vehicle while it was parked on the street... Happened to know a guy that used to work for this company... Called him up because I knew they did windshields but did NOT know if they did automotive door glass too... He said they did and gave me the info... GREAT company from top to bottom!!! I called late Wednesday afternoon- they squeezed me into the schedule for Thursday... Where I work the parking lot is MISERABLE to find and access... They figured it out... Came and did the job while I was at work... Even cleaned a bunch of broken glass out of the the vehicle... I came out and drove home in a PERFECTLY repaired vehicle... Customer service and billing lady was TERRIFIC too... Never knew this company existed- but cant recommend them highly enough!!! They did a GREAT job at the BEST price, in a VERY timely manner and accomplished it all under some lousy circumstances... Not a national name, but a HIGH CLASS organization with SPECTACULAR people, customer service, and pricing... I promise- you will be THRILLED you called them too!!!

The service was exemplary. Since we opted to go them, we had about an hour wait and the service tech recommended a restaurant that was a block away. They were done with our replacement windshield before we finished our lunch.We have had no air or water leaks. The window looks great. They even replaced our oil change reminder sticker. Very Happy!!

I this as a gift certificate and am totally embarrassed. I gave it to my dad Who is elderly to get his windshield repaired. I am so disgusted as he called ahead and sat and waited over an hour When he got there.when he got there When he asked how much longer it would be they said that they weren’t gonna be able to help him that day.

This place is AWESOME!! Last night my son called said trim around windshield was breaking, they got him in TODAY!! He is going deer hunting this weekend, so you can only imagine how happy I was. They were also the only company in Greenbay area to tell me to replace entire windshield (which comes with the trim) not just trim itself. Replacing the trim was 5-6 times more expensive with the other companies I called than replacing windshield. Turned out trim and glass were fine. Our vans make and model are known for trim breaking at bottom by wiper blades and they took that piece out put the wiper blade on charged us NOTHING and sent my kid on his way. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend them to anyone in need of glass repair. You dont see to much in the way of this kind of service anymore!!!

I had a windshield replaced on my 2005 G35. Excellent service and work by these guys. I picked them as they offered the best price for the job. I have zero complaints. They windshield and all the moldings are holding up great. They came on time to my work place and did the job fairly quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

My experience was awesome...great job!!! From the moment I located your company online, the process went on without a hitch. This was the first time I ever had to deal with replacing auto glass and wasnt sure what to expect. I contacted three companies requesting a quote, one by phone and two using an online feature where you get an estimate right away. Great Lakes Glass was the least expensive, and even though I rarely do this, I chose them anyway because of what I read on their website about their business philosophy. Dan, the installer, is great! He was very professional, knowledgeable and informative, and from start to finish, his 15 years of experience was obvious to me! I will definitely use them again for auto glass replacement!!

Setting up the appointment was easy and fast. The employees were helpful and professional. Dan worked around my schedule and needs. The installation was quick and convenient, they installed the new windshield right at my home. The whole experience start to finish was great!

My wife had made arrangements Monday to have the windshield replaced in my truck on a Tuesday morning at her place of employment. She was told she would receive a phone call from the technician around 8:30 - 9:00, 20 minutes before his arrival. At about 10:00 she had to call to see where he and was told it would be between 11:30 and 1:00. At 1:30 she had to call again to see when he would be there, and was told in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later he finally arrived and when she asked about the 8:30 - 9:00 appointment he just complained about being to busy and said dont worry, Ill take care of you . He then began to disassemble the truck, removing trim pieces and the rear view mirror and after an hour and a half he just left without saying a word. I then called their office to find out where he was, they got a hold of him, and told me he left because it was to cold. When my wife got home from work I inspected my vehicle and found broken trim around the windshield and wiring hanging from the electronic rear view mirror. I called the office again and talked to Joel, who said he was the manager. He said they could do it a different day and offered me a $25.00 discount. I told him it wasnt about a discount, I just wanted my truck put back together the way they found it. I ask to speak to the owner of the business to express my dissatisfaction and to make aggangements to get my truck fixed. I was told he was not in but that he would return my call the next day. It has been 3 days now and I have still not heard from him. I am shocked at how poor the customer service is and if a company can not simply treat a customer right how can they be expected to be competent enough to replace a windshield properly. My recommendation would be to not make your buying choice based only on price but also consider quality customer service, something that Great Lakes Glass did not provide to me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I found their staff to be extra helpful and friendly....it was an added bonus that due to costruction detours I was more than twenty minutes late for my appt. They offered directions to assist me since I was not a local resident and somewhat unfamiliar with the area. I was truly impressed when the technician greeted me at the door with a smile and a handshake!! It was wonderful to personally have the tech greet me....like saying he was going to personally take care of my windshield and all problems associated with it! He was confident and friendly! While waiting in the office, I took precedence over the incoming calls to have all of my questions answered and with a smile to let me know I was their main concern!! Initially I had a bad experience due to verbiage not being clear on the Groupon I had purchased. The owner, Ben, contacted me within two hours to rectify the situation. He even went as far to track down my phone number that I called in on to try and reach me. Ben apologized for the situation and assured me things would be made right. I applaud Ben for caring about his business and making sure the customer is taken care of the right way. Dan installed my new windshield and did a great job! He kept in contact with me throughout the day to tell me when he would be installing my windshield. He was nice enough to meet me at my house so I didnt have to stick around work. Dan had my new windshield installed in no time and even went out of his way to remove my iPass velcro sticky tape off the old windshield so I could put it on my new windshield. Dan does excellent work and I would highly recommend him to install your next windshield with Great Lakes Glass. A big thanks to Ben and Dan for making this a positive experience for me!

Installer, a former Floor Director at WBAY-TV was a class act. Job was done on-time, and very professionally. Not only would I recommend this company, I already booked them to do my wifes windshield, today!

They broke my wiper blade arm off of my car while replacing my front windshield. They said they would order another one and that I could come back the following monday and they would put it on for me no charge. However I got there monday morning, they hammer on my car for about 5 minutes and tell me that they can not put it on. They told me I will need to go to a dealership or a 3rd party shop and have them put it on. This will require me to make yet another appointment and then also money coming out of MY POCKET, for THEM braking it off. They didnt even offer to pay for the repair of it at a shop. They just handed me the blade and pretty much said good luck.

I had called and spoke with Joel on Monday to set up an appointment. I explained that I had a gift certificate from Deal Chicken for $125. He told me he would match the price of Accurate Auto Glass for $315. Set up an appointment for the following day. They came out to install the windshield. The two people who pulled up came in unmarked cars. 1 in a minivan, 1 in an SUV. They did have t shirts on that said Great Lakes. They asked if I had any questions, I said no. I am a woman who was home alone and can admit it made me uncomfortable that there were two men here in unmarked cars to fix the ws. One left after they got done installing it and then it came time to pay the bill. I showed him the gift certificate from Deal Chicken and he said that they dont honor those on installations done outside the shop. I told him Joel told me you would honor it. He told me he would call his manager. He called the owner, Ben and spoke with him. Ben asked to speak with me and proceeded to argue with me about the coupon. I told him that if they had told me that I had to come in to honor it, I would have done that. I had been driving the car for a week and a half with the crack. I also explained it wasnt my fault that Joel didnt know any of that stuff. This is precisely why I called ahead to insure that they would honor it. Ben started arguing with me in the phone and told me the cheapest he could go was $250 even after I paid the $50 for the gift certificate. So in reality all he did was give me $15 off. I continued to ask him a question about the warranty and he hung up on me. Didnt say goodbye. Didnt say thank you. Hung up on me. Where does that fall under customer service? Then when the kid went to take my credit card to pay, he wrote the number down on a piece of paper. I asked him why they didnt have a credit card machine and he assured me t would get shredded when he got back to the shop. Now I feel like I have to watch my credit card statements. All I have to say is I will never use them again. I will never recommend them to anyone. And I plan to go on every review site possible to tell what they did. It is so unprofessional to speak to anyone that way and then to hang up on me? And leave me in fear that my credit card is going to be stolen. BBAD B

I would not recommend this company. Poor work, poor service, no one is ever there. I had to call them back in 4 months to re do my windshield becuz the seal fell off, and they didnt even show up for that appt. Choose someone else for windshield repair work.

DONT GO THERE.I went to get a quote at the store and I was quoted $185 for a windshield replacement. There was a groupon online that took off $125. When I bought it I called for an appointment and told them about the groupon. I was told that they wont honor it because I had been given a special price already! I was never told It was a special price! The manager was very rude and kept interrupting me and telling me to listen to him! He repeated the same thing 3 times and wouldnt listen to me at all so I was very upset but I couldnt get anywhere with him so I am now stuck with a worthless groupon. I will never do business with them again!

Got my car in quick, work was done very fast, price was great was only 209 (my mazda mx3 has a very small windshield) Seeing as i hit a deer, its great to have it fixed and didnt break the bank! I recommend this company.

I needed to have my windshield replaced last week. First was going to go through my insurance and use Safelite but a friend of mine said I should look around (he helped with that). I had gotten a quote from another company first and called Safelite to see if they would price match to what I had gotten from that company, which they did. Then I had called Safelite back after getting the quote from Great Lakes and they could not beat that price which included mobile installation. So I cancelled my apt with Safelite and proceeded to set up with Great Lakes. I am sooo glad I did!! They came out to Seymour to fix my windshield and were very reasonably priced compared to everyone else. Dan had came out and installed the windshield. He was GREAT! Very polite and fast!. Horrible location, horrible service, they scratched my paint and now my car is rusting where the scratch is. You will save yourself a headache by going to professionals. Not to mention the tech who works there looks like he just got out of prison.

Called to get a quote to get my windshield gasket replaced was told they only replace windshields. Funny other reviews claim they do fix leaking windshields. My rear sliding window gasket is also leaking suppose they only replace that whole window too. What a joke.

This was an absolute waste of a Saturday. Waited all day for these guys and they never showed up...
