Just talked to Patty the receptionist. Very cold, indifferent, very poor phone skills just like all other reviews stated...wont be making an appt. there. When will mgmnt realize this woman is hurting their business?

I wish I would have read the reviews before making an appointment at New Wellness, it is by far the worstexperience I ever had at a mental health facility! Do not go here if you are on a driver safety plan!!/I no longer want to attend appointments here due to the rudeness and demeaning treatment given by the receptionist, but Brown County Mental Health is forcing me to go here! A therapist is suppose to help you work through your problems, whenever I have to deal with this facility I feel awful and like the people dont care about me at all. Only care about taking my money. Please do yourself a favor and do not make an appointment here!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. Took my 13 year old daughter there. Great therapist. Took a break for summer. Fall comes around, my daughter ran away & when I called to see if she had contacted the therapist the NASTY office manager told me to get lost, I could not speak to our therapist (even though she was my therapist as well), threaten me & told me my now 14 year old daughter could make her own decisions. Refused to let me speak to anyone. Third time I called she said she recognized my phone number & then hung up on me. I had to get a court order to even be allowed to talk to my own therapist. What kind of mental health is that?! Going back to another therapist, one where they actually care about their patients. That woman is going to damage people & the company doesn’t care!

I LOVE my therapist!! So I put up with the receptionist...however she is beyond rude. The receptionist has even brought me to tears. Not a good attitude or personality for working in the industry she does. But the therapists are exceptional! What a contrast lol.

Patty IS rude! It is July 2020. I agree with ALL the ONE STAR ratings posted here from a variety of people seeking therapy. Patty says my daughter is not insurance covered. The insurance company says she is covered with therapist Jacklyn, whom she liked a lot. Good therapists are losing clients from this business-killing receptionist/billing “office” person named Patty. Something is REAL fishy about this place.

Elizabeth is a great therapist. She was really helping my daughter. I put up with the receptionist because my daughter loved her therapist. We live 75 miles away and had to miss one appointment. Receptionist told my daughter she could not see Elizabeth until the 50 dollars was paid for missed appointment. We paid it. This was illegal to deny health care for a payment. The next week, Elizabeth is no longer there. They never bothered to call and tell us. We showed up and were expected to see someone else. My daughter was in tears. The receptionist is rude lazy and unhelpful. My daughter had signed a release form so she could talk to me and every time I said something she didnt like, the form was lost and my daughter would have to resign a form. DO NOT bring your loved ones here. The receptionist only adds extra stress to their already stressed out minds. The owner could only benefit from firing this receptionist and hiring someone that knows how to do their job and has customer service skills.

Get a new receptionist, I own a business I would never ever leave a review unless my experience was heinous. Your receptionist is just that, a receptionist. Tell her to stay in her lane, giving mental health advice via the phone and unsolicited aggression in person is absolutely an ethics violation. Patty is an absolute amateur, I will be reporting this business.

Counselors do a fine job for the challenges they assist with. My family and I have been going to NEW Wellness for several years and the counselors there have been very helpful. They wont solve your problems and issues, they help you sort through to a resolution.

I have never had such terrible billing issues with any medical professionals office. It started with an insurance billing code error, causing my insurance company to deny the claim initially Then not being credited for a personal payment. Which I had to research and prove. If you use them keep careful billing and payment records. They should rethink their office processes to make them more patient friendly, however the resistance you get when you call to resolve the issues makes me think that wont happen. When I brought up the terrible reviews, I was told We are aware. If your aware why dont you try to fix your issues? If you choose to use their services you may need therapy to recover from the stress of their billing practices.

Marya is amazing, but I had to make the difficult decision not to see her any longer because Patti is the worst. I cannot in good conscience continue to work with such a terrible company. For one thing, you cannot get through to this company! Ive tried for over an hour (11:20--12:50) to get through to the company today because they owe me a lot of money.

Horrible experience with Patti. She is very abrasive/rude on the phone. Made appointments for both of my daughters thru my covered EAP benefit. One got billed out correctly and the other got billed thru my medical insurance and now I have a balance that is owed. Contacted Patti to let her know it was billed incorrectly and she refused to re-bill it correctly to the EAP company. She said my daughter could use her EAP benefits going forward, but even though my daughter liked her counselor, she will not be returning there.

They dont give a damn about their customers. They just want your money. Theyll have you spend near 300 to show up and tell you to come another day. Then when you have work and cant make it theyll still keep you scheduled regardless then charge you for not showing up when you couldnt after you told them you have work. This company is the absolute definition of a SCAM. And they should be sued or fired and replaced with people who actually give a damn about people trying to fix their lives. Unprofessional as it gets.

If I could I would give 0 stars as well..went rhere for EAP counselling for an issue at work...worked wirh Marya who was amazing but when it came time to request a letter for my employer to keep my job...the office REFUSED because I wasnt an established patient...I lost my job due to my mental health issues and fighting for disability retirements..eap only covers 5 sessions, how is that fair when my work sent me to them??? Disgusted!

Id give them zero stars if I could! Dr Marya was amazing! Love her! But the office staff is horrible! I have not received services since February 2014, and am receiving EOBs and bills (August 2015)! This is ridiculous! For someone who suffers from anxiety and watches spending closely a $300+ balance, for one office visit from over year ago is not something anyone needs! Oh and dont worry if you dont remember how a conversation works the office staff will remind you, one person speaks the other listens and then you (customer) speaks and they listen (yes this is what the office lady told me). Apparently interrupting customers and raising your voice to them is acceptable! I am completely disgusted!Not to mention the fact that my step son received services here in 2013 and had problems with billing. He was over 18 and about to pay the bills! He was still in high school he didnt know any better! We had to step in and help him, they were going to make him pay for the services when they were through EAP!Do not go here, the services are great, but the stress of billing will just add more stress!

Very unprofessional environment. The reception was rude the two times I came in, and she was also not dressed professionally, wearing jeans and a sweater that was at least a size too small. The furniture in the waiting room was very dirty. The therapist I spoke with had a tendency to talk about herself a lot. She also didnt keep her appointments the same amount of time. My first appointment was one hour, my second was about forty minutes, and it really felt like she was rushing me out the door. It seemed like she had something to do better than my appointment. I would not recommend this place for therapy.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The billing and records department and staff are very unprofessional. You pay them for services and they either take a really long time to do it or they just forget to even do it after you have already paid for it. I would strongly recommend going anywhere else. They are very unreliable.

Billing is a joke, counselors were great... Need more counseling after the billing issues!!!

The billing department did not work with me or my insurance company very well. I now have debit in collections that should have been covered by my insurance, but was filed incorrectly by the office.

Would not recommend this provider for counseling services - the billing office is extremely unprofessional and they keep trying to bill above and beyond what insurance has paid.

Horrible. They are greedy for money and dont care about their patients.
