Grooming in GreeleyI had an amazing experience with Renae and Neisha at PetSmart grooming in Greeley on 01/22/21! I was dog sitting my mom’s Australian shepherd and was able to convince her to let me get Kea groomed. Kea is 13 years, long haired Australian shepherd, and she has never been to a grooming appointment before (ever). It’s been basic brushing every two-ish weeks and an occasional bath at a dog self-wash station but that’s it. I took her in and her entire belly, butt, neck, chest, and legs were completely matted. Renae told me she would probably need her whole belly shaved and that I had to agree to that for them to even accept her because leaving matted fur after a bath could cause health problems for the dog. My mother specifically said no trimming or cutting so I mortifyingly agreed and returned home to consider my inevitable death upon my mother’s return to a shaved dog. The appointment took 4.5 hours but when I went to pick her up I was speechless. It was like taking home a different dog! They had managed to brush out all the matted fur so she didn’t need any shaving and they did a beautiful and practical sanitary trim of long hair around her butt. She was so sleek and smooth and soft! Before I dropped her off her coat was very oily, rough, and she smelled bad. They also said they did her nails and trimmed her feet with no problem. My mom said she’s never been able to get her nails trimmed because she would growl and was really bad about getting brushed. Renae told me she was very good for everything and they didn’t have any problems at all with her behavior. Kea knew how pretty she looked and spent the rest of the weekend prancing around and showing off. The transformation was truly incredible and I am so grateful to the wonderful dedicated staff! When we were leaving the store, entering customers even said she was a professional show dog in response to a kids question (she’s not, but has never been remotely close to looking like one before)! My must feel so much better to have the matted fur brushed out and much of her undercoat brushed out!First few pictures are before pictures, the rest are all after pictures!

PetSmart Grooming is what I don’t recommend. After 5 years of continued chances I walked away for good. Renee and her grooming team can never be on the same page. I get told something different every time. Sadly I have a special pup who requires express appointments and the way to get those are different every time. No wonder there is such high turn over in the grooming department, Renee does a poor job as an effective leader and as a communicator.

They were great with our big furbaby. We were in and out in no time. They were very thorough and patient.

Wanted to give a shout out to the grooming team at this store! It was our first time taking our little Papillon to this store to get groomed and they did an amazing job with grooming him. Before we left him Esther, the groomer that had checked him in, not only had a positive and upbeat attitude, but was also extremely helpful with the whole grooming process -- super early in the morning. She was also very attentive to his stress level and ensured that he was comfortable with his surroundings before we left which we greatly appreciated. Awesome service!

I just took my puppy for a puppy bath and they didnt bath him they just put puppy sprite on and he came out the same as he went in for his appointment.

I am so grateful for our local PetSmart. Not only do they have everything I would want for my girl, but their Wellness program has saved me $$$ every time I take she needs something. Oct. 1, 2019, I lost my registered service dog. Dr. Gould and team went WAY over what Ive would expect to make the loss as easy as possible. For this, I am eternally grateful. I would recommend this clinic to everyone who loves their pet.

Purchased a Beta fish and the container was filled with algae. They had no Beta fish food in the store. We literally had to go to Petco for fish food. We went back 3 times over the past month for other things, they are still selling Betas with no fish food available to purchase. It makes you wonder how or what theyre feeding them.

Well stocked with options and wasnt bothered while shopping (Ill seek out assistance if I need it, otherwise it feels bothersome). If Pet Smart had a military discount on goods (not just grooming on a specific day of the week), then I would probably prefer it over other pet stores.

Update: We went back a few days later since we’ve been with them since we’ve moved here and the manager corrected the mistakes that were made. The service was greatly appreciated and will keep returning as customers.We brought the dogs here for grooming as always but due to the groomer (Erica) being behind. Was turned away for being 5 minutes late due to her being a dog or two behind. Was questioned about the usual package we get for dogs and felt like she had an attitude and did not want to help. She got what she wanted, we canceled due to her being behind.

No matter who grooms Einstein, they always do great. He comes out so relaxed, and naps the whole rest of the day. They are patient with his sensitive little paws. If a corgi is excited to go some place, thats four outta four paws in his book.

On Saturday I went to the location to rent a carpet cleaning machine to clean my carpets. I was able to check out easily and load it into my car. On my way home I noticed a very pungent urine smell on the machine. I figured I would give it a bit of a clean prior to using ot on my floors. Once home I got the machine into my home and tipped in on its back to expose the under carrage. Immediately I noticed brown covering the bottom as well as caked on hair. I began to clean the machine and noticed the suction area was blocked, p receded to fish out globs of fecal matter. Being a vet tech I noticed the smell of potential parvo. Immediately I called the petsmart location. The gal who answered stated she would swap out the machine if needed but I was 30min away from that location and told her that I would bring it back the following day and speak with a manager. I cleaning the machine out to the best of my abilities then used the machine. Once bringing the machine back, Sunday morning, I spoke with a women manager about my experience and the only only the she told me that could be done was that she would talk to her team. I was very upset by this situation. I have a 16week old puppy at home and if this actually was parvo being brought into my home because of someone elses stupidity, it could be lethal for my puppy if she wasnt vaccinated. Please if anyone is considering renting a machine from this location save your self the time and effort on dont. Not to mention the lack of empathy they had shown for my situation.

Doesnt always have everything you need for reptiles specifically, but was better stocked then Petco when I went. Had great service though. A gal helped me make a decision on a different substrate then what I typically use which was very helpful. Got in and out quickly too. Overall a good experience.

Two staff members were wearing masks below their nose which is not effective or safe for the customers coming in to the store. Very disappointing. If staff aren’t wearing masks properly they shouldn’t be working. It is a mandate and they are not taking care of its customers. Additionally items were not priced.They did not have common fish in stock. These same fish are in stock in the Loveland location. I have never been impressed with the customer service or products at this location and now I am even more disappointed in seeing how little regard staff have for customers safety in not wearing masks correctly.

We’ve taken our dog here for years for nail grindings. Since COVID, they have not taken walk ins which is fine. Every time we have tried to schedule, they tell us they won’t do just nail grindings and we would need to do full grooming. He doesn’t need full grooming just his nails done. We have ended up just taking him into Banfield and have the vet techs do it (more expensive).Today, they finally have nail grindings on their website and it says call for appointment. We call as soon as they open and the groomer who answers tells us we can just bring him in. My husband asks again to confirm that they are accepting walk ins and she says yes and no Appt is necessary. So he loads up our dog (who is a senior and has health issues including seizures) and takes him in. When he gets there, no one even acknowledges him for 10 min until a Banfield tech comes out and has to tell the groomers that he’s there. Still another 5 min after that, someone finally comes out. Tells him that they aren’t doing walk ins and he’d need to make an appointment. 🤦🏻‍♀️ What?! He ends up making an appointment for later today because our pooch’s nails are overdue for a trim and he won’t let us do it at home. Completely frustrating experience and we’re tired of the misinformation every time. This has been an issue for some time now especially with the huge turnover of groomers etc. At this point, we’ll be paying more for the Banfield techs to do it at the vet or taking him elsewhere.

I went to a PetSmart in Greeley Co to purchase a pleco for my fish tank and there worker there with short hair all colored hair refused to due her job saying that I couldnt buy one because my tank was to lil well Ive bought those before, dahh and a small one inch pleco takes a while to grow u just think she was lazy didnt want to do her job and should be FIRED! Period!!?....its sad how lazy the youth have gotten...worthless PetSmart need better management.

I came in and impulsively decided to adopt a cat. First mistake was not having cash and not knowing that when adopting its cash only. At first I didnt like it but once they explained that the cash goes back to weld county humane society ( the source where all of their adoptive animals come from) I was okay with it. Before I left I made sure there was nothing else I had to pay for. When I came back and started on the paperwork, I wasnt informed that my cat had to be carried out by a carrier. (2 days before she had gotten surgery) this was my first cat so I didnt have a carrier. I ended up buying a cardboard carrier for $13 this was something that I wasnt too happy about. But over time I accepted it because some idiot could have seriously hurt theyre pet without a carrier.In total I spent $83 for Vel aka Velcro. Once the paperwork is completed (which was a couple sheets to sign. I did enjoy how extensive and serious they took the adoption) you receive a coupon book for food, toys, medicine, and pet needs for dogs and cats. Which was an unexpected perk sense I now own 2 cats and a 6month puppy. Impulse at its finest.Now Im not gonna get pet insurance, Im not that radical pet parent but I am so thankful for all the resources we are able to receive through PetSmart. I enjoy ALL of the emails. I am so grateful that they do the necessary procedures for cats at the right age. When I adopted Vel she a year and 8 days. So PetSmart and theyre relationship with the Weld County Humane Society is truly beautiful because as a college student with a certain amount of income, I wouldnt be able to afford the shots, surgeries, AND MICRO CHIP without a payment plan or outside help. It shouldnt cost an arm and leg to adopt animals that need homes. It shouldnt be a struggle to love these creatures and thats why I gave them 5 stars. I payed less than a hundred dollars for Vel who had already gotten her surgery, and been chipped, and maybe groomed idk but probably! Thank you so much PetSmart. Thank you so much Weld County Humane. Because of my experience and their relationship, I will only adopt from these 2 places. I have a lot of trust in them right now and its comforting. Vel loves her new home❤

Got Adonis groomed today, dropped him at the store at 1:12pm, received a call at 1:38pm stating he was nearly done. Was charges $63.00 for one hour bath, brush and teeth. Teeth ? No happy! Basic wash. We will be looking elsewhere. Miss our Ruby M.

Really clean store. Sign on the door says masks required however myself and a few other shoppers were not wearing a mask and we were still allowed to shop which is a huge reason for my 5 star review, as my thoughts and feelings on the subject of masks being required is not the same as most of the world, and thats ok, to each their own. I however will gladly and proudly support any and all business which let us all be and wear what we want (or dont want) to wear and still receive great customer service instead of being kicked out of the store. this is the best way to speak on my trip here. Aside from that, the selection of product is phenomenal (obviously) I was amazed that i found each and every item on myblist that i was wanting and very quickly too! I love not having to go to several different store to get what my dog needs. The prices were less than desirable however butagain, the overall experience here completely made up for it and id spend it all again!

I only come in to this PetSmart when I don’t have time to drive to Loveland or order online... The shelves in the areas I shop are usually bare, there are always dead fish in the tanks and the employees..... the past few times I’ve been in and asked for help, I get help however silently. These employees don’t talk to you. Nikki the cashier, lord help me, is so extremely rude to customers. When I walk in and see her, if I don’t need it right now, I turn around and leave.I do not enjoy shopping here.

My dog was treated terrible at his last grooming appointment. He has been groomed by them since he was a puppy and after this last appointment his behavior drastically changed. When I took him for a vet appointment a few after his grooming appointment he panicked when they tried to take him to the back. We will not be returning for a grooming for sure at the Greeley Location.
