The Greeley Rec Center goes above and beyond providing the community with programs and spaces to be physically active. All of the rooms are clean and well maintained, and there are plenty of accommodations for people with physical disabilities.

Large recreation center, pool is used for swim meets, nice park across the street, lots of easy and free parking. Clean bathrooms, inexpensive snacks and drinks.

Been at the Rec for a few years now, going on the third year 2021. Its like home at this point of time. I train in the weight room virtually every day, from lifting weights to keeping my fighting arts in top caliber, as I punch and kick the box around. It sucks that its closed on the weekends, but if needed I drive out west to the Plex to get my sessions in. Since Im also a Master Foosball world class champion player here in Colo, the Rec center has been my home base for mental training and a place for me to continue writing in my books about the game.Master JediROTN

I am only using the swimming pool for lap swimming but it is so clean,quiet and the staff are friendly. Booking a time slot could not be easier and the membership fee is excellent!

Great place wish they had a little bit longer hours for the gym

The people who work here are super nice and helpful. The place is clean and theres hand sanitizer available everywhere.

So my bad to the Civic center but this was actually the place where I was told to wait in the shower and have strange men pee in my cupped hands. 😅 Still they had me arrested.

I live in my RV.it dont have a shower.so I go to the recreation center every day.to take a shower.. because I have to be clean.also I work at McDonalds.thanks.

My husband and I just visited this gym for the 1st time we brought our girls with but there was a certain individual that didnt like that idea given there was only 2 other people in the gym so they asked us to leave? they also wanted my husband to pay to walk the hallways ..... Needless to say we will not be returning !

Only disliked it cos a friend and me busted our hump cleaning tiles in the new pool thru a day labor place and him and I are just now starting to be un-sore!

I like working out here. The machines are older but its never crowded so it feels like a comfortable place to get my workout in.

Gyms are great to get some pickup games going. Pool isnt the greatest for youngsters, but if youre into getting some laps in definitely recommend it. Weight room is okay. It can use a bit of an upgrade. Overall, it serves its purpose.

My niece and nephews had swim lessons at this facility. The swim teacher was nice. Way to much chlorine in the water..

Good place. Weight room is nice and is more private than other gyms. Has most equipment youll find in other gyms. Most the time its adults and people who are respectful. To me it seems nice because not many people come here and most people just do their workout and leave. Other gyms you dont know if obnoxious people will show up or people who chat it up at the gym. Price is steep for me but Im a frugal person but is the same as any other gym.

Every time Ive been to a venue here that place has been great they have a little bit of everything really great place to she artist hard to watch your kids play volleyball.

Lots of great programs for kids and adults but wished the pool was as cool as funplex

Very nice recreation center with large indoor pool, lots of classes, an inside running track. Very clean

We dont come here often because it is not in the best part of town and we are closer to the Family Funplex. We do like their racquetball courts there that are pretty well-maintained. They did do a recent remodel of the building which makes it look a lot nicer. You can go play racquetball but I would sign up ahead of time. They have all the materials there to play. I would say the cost is pretty average, as a it costs about $12.50 for three of us to play racquetball.

As far as gyms go, this has to be one of the most depressing to work out in. Its in the basement, surrounded by offices and stuffy carpet, and theres no music playing. I can usually work out anywhere and dont require extra motivation, but this was just a little much for me. The room is a but small. There is a good selection of equipment, but no really enough room to use it properly (Im looking at you, free weight area).

I enjoy the variety of things available at this center. Adult beginner ballet was a thrill for me to find, and tap classes are such fun.

Theres something for everyone here and, for seniors, the Silver Sneakers program is great for all ages regardless of physical abilities.

The staff was awesome and was helpful beyond words. Ive lived in Greeley for 5 years and this was my first time at the rec. Will be booking parties for the future here!

Never been to the rec center before. Usually go swimming at fun plex however they were closed today for cleaning. So we decided to give the greeley rec a try. Staff was super nice and went out of her way to take us to the pool area. Besides the water being very cold. It was very clean and life guards were great. Kids loved it and we now have a new swimming place in town. Thank you

Ive been coming to The Rec since I was a kid. Such a great service for the City of Greeley and our community.

We have enjoyed the climbing wall and the swimming pool here. The swimming pool is cold (77-78 degrees), but they don’t have the crowds the other city pools have, which I like, we just don’t last very long there because it’s so cold. I also have not been impressed with the lifeguards here. They are often distracted and talking with other people and are unprofessional. The pool hours are also ridiculous and close at 1pm and the diving well seems to never be open.It was tricky to figure out how we could get certified to go climbing, but we finally figured it out with only 1 failed attempt (website was misleading). And the wall is small and tucked away in a corner ally of the facility, but was enjoyable still. There are mostly overhead climbs, with really only 1 straight up climb.We will return to climb occasionally, but we will probably not come back to swim.

Visited for a play my child was in. Its a nice place and the staff is really helpful and polite.

I often hop over here for some quick lunch workouts, very relaxed and low-key in the cardio/weight room at that time.The front desk people are friendly and helpful. Its inexpensive, has a decent selection of weights and cardio equipment. There is also a pool, a rock-climbing wall, 2 gyms, racquetball, dance studios, and even a pistol/archery range tucked away downstairs.Your head might spin a little bit figuring out where everything is the first time you come in, but I give it a solid thumbs-up.

As much as youth sports cost you would think the rec center would be able to find a place for kids to practice when the gym they normally have basketball practice at is unavailable.

Very nice racquetball courts, $5 for a drop in from out of town guests.

I play volleyball there and its amazing

Equipment sucks....something is always broken. You have to tell the staff you need help because theyre too busy not paying attention to customers. Its just annoying. I applied here a few times, and Im so surprised I never got a job. I guess theyd rather hire trash that doesnt even pay attention to customers.Also, when my sister and I went swimming the guard tried to tell us to go swim in the kiddie area (were in our 20s) because a swim team had to leave an outdoor pool because of the lightening...I complained though and we got a refund mailed to us within a week. Conditioning spa is more expensive but has better equipment and the employees are thoughtful.

I like the rec center. It sometimes it can get crowded but its a good place to rent a room for an event or take a class or lessons.
