I had my rental broken into because the door was an inside door being used on the outside of the house and barely locked secrely. After 3 months of asking for repairs to the literally crumbling door they decided instead to give me notice and kick me out with no reason after having lived there 2 years. They do not care about the security of their renters or the conditions in which the apartments they manage are kept. Save yourself some time and rent from people who actually care.

I’ve been using them as my property manager for almost 7 years now and I have nothing but positive things to say.I’ve never had the need to “manage the managers” and they always took good care of my property and my tenants.

I contacted one of the owners with a question on a property they had listed. Never got a response. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you are in the business to sell, you need to reply to customers.

Ive had my rental property managed by Macek for about a year now and they have been amazing. So far my experience has been that they do a great job of screening tenants, they keep tabs on maintenance including maintenance reminders with the monthly statements, and have been responsive answering my questions when they come up. So far, I am very glad to be doing business with them. As an out of town property owner, I am glad to have them on my team.

I rented from Macek several years ago and found their services to be professional and fair. Jenna was incredibly helpful in finding a place to live. I have accepted a position in Great Falls and my first stop was Maceks website.

I have been renting a property from this company for a over year. In that time the heater has went out 2 times, and the water pipes froze 2 times.first time required over 14 hours in the middle of winter for the inside of the house to reach 70 degrees .the second time the emergency work order person told me to make sure the cabinets were open so the pipes didnt freeze. The inside temp was in the 50s. Again, how about fixing the the heat?The 1st time the water froze I was asked at 5 am if I wanted to crawl under the house to put a space heater there. Mind you its negative 19 degrees. The 2nd time they wanted to put us up in a hotel because emergency plumbers would be costly. All this happened after I asked if the pipes properly insulated, since it is a trailer house. never did get a response.When the lease was signed they asssured me someone would come and remove the junk from the back yard yard left by the previous tenants. It took over 6 months and me having to remind them that they need to remove the items.I currently have 2 open work orders one over 2 months old for the stairs to be repaired and nothing has been done. I guess they are waiting till someone falls through them.

Great local company! Excellent customer service. You can definitely tell they are very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Macek to anyone needing real estate services.

NEVER rent from macek! They leave rude voicemails if you don’t answer your phone! When it was becoming apparent that my work schedule was conflicting with their calls, I went into their office IN PERSON and left the number for my husband as their main contact number. They still called my phone even after explaining multiple times I wouldn’t be able to answer most of their calls. I was left rude messages, even though they had other numbers to call. They tried to say one number didn’t work, to which we showed them how they were dialing wrong. No apologies at all for their incompetence.When we first moved in I inquired about pets, and was told to pay a pet deposit, which I gladly did. Was never asked number of animals or anything. Later found out we were only aloud one pet, and had to rehome the others. A dog and a cat. Which we did! They tried to evict us in 3 days after this because of their lack of communication! Even though we were cooperating with their ridiculous demands. Only until we threatened legal action, did their tone change. We put in our 30 day move out notice after their behavior, complied with everything they needed, and respectfully parted ways.Now come to find out, they put that we were evicted on our rental history! This is ridiculous and far from what actually happened! There was no eviction! How do we have final move out papers and information if this is the case? Macek, you need to fix this.The house we rented had faulty electric work, which was solved on our own time. The electric work caused a spark in an outlet, almost burning the house down! Ruined my $1,000 electric fireplace, and caused a burn stain on the carpet. Your rude worker wrote on our report that it was cat poop smeared in the carpet! Even when I informed her what it actually was, there was no apology or effort to remove that false statement from her report!I will be telling any and all military I know looking for rentals to stay far away from this company. The stress and disrespect is just not worth it.

They were extremely helpful throughout our time with them. They were efficient and reliable!

Couldnt get someone to call us back. I left several messages about rentals and never got a call back.
