This Planet Fitness is far better than the one I was a member at in Illinois. The tanning and massage area is separate and far more professional looking, plus the employees do the sanitizing! (in Illinois it was up to the members). The manager here was very helpful in switching my membership, since it was under Silver Sneakers and required extra measures to transfer.

I absolutely love the atmosphere. I have had memberships before in other places, States and even Countries. This establishment is super friendly. Very helpful and if one doesnt know the answer they find out immediately. The people who attend the gym are nice. There isnt any gawking and cat calling that I have witnessed or seen. I feel so comfortable here that I have changed my goals, my family now has membership and some even dropped there other memberships to come here. Seriously, I am super impressed.

Above average gym, particularly at this location. Having visited a couple dozen planet fitness locations, I found this one surprisingly well equipped, large and well designed. The black card spa area is the best Ive seen anywhere, with glassed entry doors, and spacious but quiet separate massage area. The main part of the gym is massive and features all the usual machines, most of them seeming to be brand new. If you are from the area, definitely worth less than a dollar per day to be a member here and come regularly.Why not five star then? Well, as with Planet Fitness nationwide, read a few reviews and you quickly realize the company is very stubborn about policy and unconcerned with true customer service. Try to get out of the year contract (which they may never mention when you join) and theyll draw blood. Try to join as a cash paying or debit card using customer. No can do! They demand your bank details, or you can walk. Ultimately, their attitude is, Were huge and we dont need you to exist. Unfortunately, this will result in their demise eventually. (Notice that if there is any management response to this review, it will predictably be something like ...were sorry we didnt meet your expectations. Please email us with your concerns at... Unsatisfactory. Read the reviews you are getting! Listen to people! Otherwise, PF will go the way of Kmart. Thats all.

My first time working out at a Planet Fitness and will never return. You talk about being inclusive and “judgement free” but 10 mins into my workout I get a fire alarm pulled on me and a lecture by the gym staff for grunting a little too loud and accused of dropping the weights. First of all, every single person in the gym had headphones in. That is why the only person who heard any of this was the gym staff. Secondly, I do not drop weights. If the machine weights slam a little harder after the set, that is not intentionally dropping them. And sorry about making a noise. That is what happens when someone pushes themselves to max exertion. Again, no one heard it so what is the problem. Nevertheless, I felt judged the whole workout and had a very unproductive workout the rest of the day as I was more concerned about my breathing being perceived as grunting and setting the weights down without making any noise.Do not train there. Everyone who goes there should not even be working out. They should instead be doing light walks. Not a place for people who take training seriously.

Good equipment, clean, nice staff. However they insist on having your bank routing number even if you do not want to pay through your bank account. They will not accept cash or credit card without the bank routing number. They claim no one will be able to hack or see your routing number. Their policy does not guarantee to reimburse you in the event they were hacked or someone used that routing number to withdraw funds from your bank account. They were unwilling to accept any other condition including monthly cash payment and ID check. You still need to sign in electronically, so does not seem a stretch that your payment status could be checked at the same time, which occurs at other gyms. At the end, the attitude was mostly thats the policy, no other payment is allowed and no apology. Suggest use alternate gyms in the area.

I’ve been going to PF for a couple of years and I have nothing but positive feedback for the GF location! What they lack in equipment (heavy weights & real squat rack), they make up for in sense of community and professionalism. It is a wonderful environment in every aspect, and the team there is just incredible. After contemplating switching gyms (for wider range of equipment), I opted to stay with them because of how much I love coming to this gym! They’ve earned a loyal, lifetime member! Not to mention, you can’t beat the price. The facility is clean and equipment is in excellent condition. If you’re contemplating joining... do it! You will not regret it.

Good music play on the loud speakers for when you need motivation. Good free WiFi and electricity.Showers and floors need to be cleaned a little more often (as of this posting).

The Gym itself is awesome its the power tripping employees that think they are in control of your life you have to be careful of. I have a severe autoimmune disease called cowden syndrome and along with it severe allergies to all chemical product...even on the hotest day I wear a shirt to work out so my skin doesnt come into contact with thier spray and cause a reaction and today one of their employees demanded I use the spray or leave..I physically cant use the spray plus their motto is them cleaning the equipment. Our membership contract says nothing about having to use the spray just asks kindly..if you all had one I could use I would or maybe if you had wipes where the particles werent airborn? Love this proud cancer beating mama who wants to just work out

Staff in the morning is super rude when they are actually at the desk. Have stood there waiting to buy a bottle of water for 15 mins maybe they are free? At least its not crowded and the machines are new.

I go here every work morning and work evening. Everyone that attends is for the most part very considerate of others in the gym. The bathrooms seem tended to maybe twice a day. I would say that this location is not at all what the norm is for enforcing some of the franchises more stringent rules on clothe and noise monitoring but that works just fine for me. The people working there are kind and very eager to strike conversation at the desk. The equipment works, feels as though it may need greasing and possible replacement of some cables. I would hope the wear and tear that happens in this place starts getting addressed sooner rather than later so it doesnt experience the typical Great Falls casual dilapidation as I like to refer to it. Where everyone just sort of accepts that something doesnt work or is broke and just goes on ignoring it. Point in case, the broken anchor holding the stall separator in the mens bathroom for the last couple months causing the whole thing to droop forward. Overall, a very welcoming environment, and with the app telling you how crowded this place is or isnt you should be able to get in to do what you need at anytime of day.

This is the first gym weve ever joined and am really glad we did. My wife and I have been coming 3 times a week and have really enjoyed our work outs. Would highly recommend it.

If you are thinking about getting a membership here for a family member as a gift think twice. Worst experience I have ever had. It seems pretty clear they could care less about customer service or keeping happy members. This place continued to charge the deluxe membership package after being asked to change to the basic and also charged the wrong card. When asked about a refund for the excess charge for an error on their part, they simply replied “sorry we are not able to do that.” Will never use this gym again.We talked to a manager named AJ who was not helpful at all. He was also not willing to help resolve the issues. Would prefer to work with someone who can actually help.

Just joined but already love it. When we went in to join, Zach offered a tour before we signed up, super knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. Has enough equipment so we havr a lot of choices whenever we go. We enjoy the atmosphere and every employee has been super helpful and friendly.

I wanted to get a guest pass to workout while visiting family for the holidays, but obviously due to Covid that was unavailable (totally get that), since the membership is so low and they had an offer for free signup I decided to just get a membership and was told I could just cancel once I leave town.I was also told that the annual fee was billed in early February, and so long as I canceled before then I wouldnt be charged. However, upon attempting to cancel, was told I had to cancel in person. Couldnt transfer my account, or have someone else come in and cancel. Only other option was cancel by mail. So, I got my cancelation mailed in and received confirmation on 1/30 BEFORE THE EARLY FEBRUARY BILLING DATE FOR ANNUAL FEE. Still got billed the $40 two days after my cancelation, assuming it was just a minor error I called to have it fixed and was met with no understanding and told it was non refundable. Tried messaging corporate office, was told for billing complaints it goes through the local gym. Will try to get in touch with owner, but this has been the biggest hassle and WORST GYM EXPERIENCE EVER.As a side note, in my times working out there, staff was constantly on their phones and chatting with one another. Nothing was cleaned or wiped down by any staff in the entire two hours I was working out on either day. Normally doesnt bother me and wouldnt write a negative review but after this experience Im fed up.

I go to this gym in Great Falls every day. The staff always greets me with a smile and asks how I am doing. The teamwork they display is phenomenal. They multitask and communicate very efficiently. Above all, their customer service is superb! I highly recommend this location be your home club.

Great place. Definitely has enough equipment for alot of people and different exercises. Staff is always helpful. Have no complaints. Showers are clean and separate. Alot of lockers. Usually clean restrooms. Massage beds and chairs are a solid highlight. I dont tan but they seem occupied all the time so must be good. I recommend this gym

Great gym for the most part. My only complaint is that the mens bathroom NEVER has hand soap. So far...3 weeks and counting with no hand soap. Ive been bringing my own. I feel like they should reimburse me for having to provide basic amenities. I mean its a cheap gym membership for everything they have. But come on, no hand soap!?!?!? And when you watch the staff walk in and not wash their hands because yes, no soap... ugh. I even asked one of them...his response...a shoulder shrug and he walks out.

I have been going for a week now and all I can say is AMAZING! The staff has been very helpful. They have answered every question I have. I have been to a planet fitness before but this is has gone out of their way for their customers. I love all the updated equipment. The only thing they could do to make it even better is to get the total body enhancement. I think there would be so many people that would benefit from that. Fingers crossed that they get one.

This is the best gym I have been a part of. The price is fair, the equipment is plentiful, and it really does feel like a no judgement zone. Its never terribly busy, and having the ability to use massagers after a workout has done wonders. My only issue is I wish it was always open 24 hours, but I understand at the same time that employees should get time off on the weekend too.

Awesome gym for someone my speed. Im not a gym rat but I do enjoy going 2 to 3 times a week just to stay in shape. My only complaint is that sometimes, no one is at the front desk to scan my card. I do understand they may be short staffed sometimes but customers shouldnt have to wait upwards of 5-10 minutes to get scanned in. A good fix would be to either 1) have the scanner facing the customer for self-checkin or 2) have a clipboard out for manual sign-in when there isnt an employee around. Again, not a big deal but I dont feel right just blasting past the front counter without checking in.

Great place all the machines and free weights you could need

So far, Im thoroughly enjoying this gym! The selection of equipment they have is sure to fit almost everyone needs, and they are curved more for the everyman/woman. The staff is great, and the trainer they have on site is fantastic for figuring out where to start with exercise.The price for it all is fantastic, and the facility itself is kept rather clean! I know its still brand new, and the plastic wrap isnt off, so to speak. But you can see someone cleaning something at almost any moment in time.Also, the locker rooms are nice for those who are a bit shy. They have private stalls for changing and private stalls for showering. While the lockers in the locker room do have the need for your own lock, there is some day-use lockers in the main lobby that have a lock on them that people can use if they prefer.

I joined planet fitness in Great Falls this week. I went in to see if I could get a tour yesterday after work. The atmosphere is gloomy. The employees behind the counter were not friendly but standoffish. I did not feel welcome at all. I asked for a tour and after giving me my badge Steven gave me a tour offering very little information about the facility. I asked questions. He answered some, seemed very uncomfortable or uninterested. I dont know much about these types of facilities or working out and I was nervous. I was really excited before my visit. Whatever race a person is, they should be made to feel welcome. I wished I had payed the extra money and joined the peak. At least theyre friendly. Im not excited about going back.

Its a clean and open gym that is easy to work out at. Its unfortunate that they do not have true 24 hour service (closed at night on weekends) and the equipment is REALLY limiting when you are doing anything similar to body building. But the price is a steal especially compared to some of the other gyms in town. I use it, and I do recommend it.

Everything is brand new and it only costs $10/month (after the $39 joining fee of course). What more could you want? I will be a member here for a long time to come. Thank you Planet Fitness for coming to GF and making a great place to work out that is crazy affordable.Side note: even when the parking lot looks full, this place is so wide open and there are so many machines that it seems like there is hardly anyone in there.

LI wanted to say that I am very disappointed the fact that I canceled my membership in April and just because they had a problem with their management I have to suffer and paying $60 of overdraft fee not coolespecially when I went in there in April to discontinue my membership and it was and now its May and there were trying to charge me. Now I get to suffer!I was going to go back to planet fitness but I will never go back there againI did call the club to find out what they could do and they told me there was nothing that they could do but I was just us S O L

Went there with the free day pass and was impressed. Great clean environment with a ton of equipment. Locker room was really nice, especially since Im used to the one at Access Fitness. I was able to do my cardio and weight training without waiting for a machine or weights. Thats super awesome since I often have to wait/use a machine I dont want to use till the one I want is free at Access. Plus even with the couples rate were currently paying at Access, its cheaper for both my wife and I to have the black card memebership at planet fitness.

This gym is all brand new so its very clean and nice inside. Lots of machines and weights and its only $10 a month. Compared to Peaks ridiculous pricing, thats as good as it gets.

I absolutely love coming here. There are plenty of treadmills, so no waiting. Everybody I encounter is friendly, other members and staff alike. This truly is a judgement free zone.

I love how my previous review was removed! The staff is terrible and not knowledgeable at all! They’re rude and most are always on their cell phones. The only reason to come to this gym is for the equipment and the low price.

So far so Good!I am absolutely in love with the (mostly) 24/hour access, as I tend to enjoy a midnight workout.There are SO many ellipticals and treadmills, so cardio lovers will always have a machine handy!I had my first experience with the hydro massage bed.Pure.Heaven.Andy, the night guy, is super friendly, chill and helpful!PF is seriously the best bang for your buck.Basic gym membership is about $11/month, but the upgrade to snag that unlimited Hydro Massage is only $10 more, and beyond worth it.Thanks for coming to GF and keep rocking! 😎

This is my 4 time making this review it keeps getting delete or not even posted. But if your thinking about going here then be Shure to look over things and ask questions. This place dose have allot of great equipment and only one amazing staff member. Be Shure to allways have the fee in your account as they dont charge you on your due date but whenever theyre ready you take it out.

I have to agree with most of the other posts here I love the equipment I enjoy coming here except for dealing with the staff they are incapable of answering the simplest questions when I was signing up their tablet wasnt working so they kept bringing me a different one and still wasnt working so I asked if I could sign up online and they acted like I was the dumb one because they never thought of telling me that no they thought it smarter to keep using the tablet and thats not even the worst story I have

I don’t normally do reviews. However, I came here to try it out for a day/tour the gym since I already have a membership at The Peak. Instead, I got told I missed out on a free pass (couldn’t make it the day it was going on) and had to pay 20 dollars to try the gym out (double the monthly rate) or commit to this gym....even though I have already paid for The Peak this month. Then on top of all of this my co-worker who came in 15 minutes before me was given a free day trial...disappointed.
