Had a great float trip with MRO on July 2! Dave was our guide and did an exceptional job of providing a very interesting and fun day. In addition, we all enjoyed a delicious grilled chicken lunch. Would do it again in a heartbeat!!

My friend and I are from Texas and had no clue what to do or where to go but we knew we wanted to explore and be out on the water! MRO was very friendly and very informative. They asked us questions and then gave us a plan of action to follow to meet what we wanted to do as well as hooked us up with a shuttle company they work with in the area. Out of everything we did during our week long stay in Great Falls this was by far the most memorable experience, we had a blast. Thank you so much to the wonderful people at this company. I cannot wait to bring my family back and work with MRO again! Lots of Love from TX!

Very disappointed! Wife and I passing through area while RVing and did our homework online ahead of arriving to town...On the Montana River Outfitter website, it VERY CLEARLY STATES that recreational kayak rentals are $40 for one day. (Which is already kind of pricey, because in the Florida Keys, its only $30 /day and that includes delivery and pickup of kayak- which MRO does not even offer.) No biggy, no problem though....different place/different price- lets do this!! And then they dropped the big D bomb. D for DECEPTION. The woman explained to me that....No, its actually $80 for 2 days....because they determined it was too much work, and not worth it to them to just rent for a single day... So, to clarify, I asked...So you will not rent to me for 1 day for $40, even though I probably will only use it for 4 hours?? Her answer,, a simple Sorry, nope. So sad to see this... their yard was packed full of unused kayaks, and we noticed the depressing state of Great Falls downtown with its extremely HIGH RATE OF VACANCIES. Would not be too surprised if this kayak business suffers the same fate.

Had a great time with some scenic views and wildlife. Our guide was a true professional. We would do it again.

We were incredibly impressed with the service of Montana River Outfitters! We only had a few hours in town and were trying to figure out how to get in a paddle in our short time here.Tim went above and beyond to make sure we were able to have an amazing kayak experience. It was our first time kayaking down a river and Tim gave us all the instruction we needed to feel comfortable. Very detailed instructions about where to launch and take out and helped us set up a vehicle shuttle service so our truck was at the take out point right when we finished our paddle. Customer service was off the chart! Highly recommend this company!!!

Our group rented 2 rafts for the Smith River. They were very helpful and attentive to any changes from start to finish. Most importantly the rafts were in great shape, easy to set up, and required no monkeying around for the 5 days we floated. Highly recommend.

Last summer we went on a float trip on the Missouri river. Really good guide and a great experience. If you order food with your trip from the company it is super good and one of the staff ladies actually prepares it herself which is a really cool aspect of these tours.

We just returned from a phenomenal canoe trip with Montana River Outfitters. We had a small group of rather inexperienced canoe-ers and Jay and Remi showed us what we were capable of doing, and pampered us in the process. We were welcomed at the end of each day into a fully set up camp with plentiful food. Would absolutely repeat this trip!
