Jim and his crew at Trees Unlimited did major tree work on my property for 4 days. They Fire-Safed my 5 acre property including removing dead trees, small trees and low lying brush. They limbed everything up and removed many large trees too. They were very efficient, friendly, punctual and cleaned up well. This was a very big project! Was impressed with his crew and how well they worked together. Jim was great in coordinating everything ! Would highly recommend Trees Unlimited! Thank you !

Jim and his crew have worked for us three separate times along with most of my neighbors. Our last job was 5 trees taken down. They were on time, worked fast and hard and we had very little clean-up when they finished. Same with every other time Jim and crew have been here. I highly recommend them.

We have used Jims Trees Unlimited a couple times over the last few years and have been impressed by their efficiency and professionalism. They accomplish what they say they will and leave the place looking better than before. We have referred them constantly to friends and no one has ever been disappointed.

Excellent, we have had them take down several trees on two occasions and I recommend them to all I know. They were able to take several huge cedar trees down without a crane. One of them was almost touching our rain gutter. The minute they are on your property they work. They are always communicating to stay safe. I just called them again.

This is a can do crew that will not complain, and will pound through a technical or difficult job. Finesse is not the strong point, these people are good at full on maneuvering. If you are building a fairy forest or crucial tree restoration try one of Nevada Countys great arborists.

These guys came out to do some tree work that was very close to my house. They did a great job! Very friendly down to earth folks and every member of the crew was competent in what they did. I was not one bit nervous about something going wrong. On another occasion i had the pleasure of working with them when they had a huge dead oak that was tucked between 2 home in LWW. There was a Bee hive in the hollow of the tree. the guys braved the bees and save the hive by lowing that section of the tree into a trailer for me. 3-4 yeas later that hive is still in the log doing great!

I do not recommend Trees Unlimited... As they did a fairly good job of cutting down the trees, their cleanup and detail to work is less than desirable. They broke EVERY sprinkler in our 1/4 acre lawn, which now looks like a mud pit with giant holes in it. They broke the fence in our garden, pushed over poles that were cemented in and left everything where it broke. They didnt even try to stack the broken wood out of the way. They cut small trees that were agreed that could absolutely not be cut down, specifically one that was planted in my fathers memory. They cracked numerous places on our driveway by parking a several ton piece of machinery where it didnt need to be. When I told them that this had happened, they said that it had already been broken. As I understand that people need to make money and a living for what they do, I just asked if they could recommend some way of fixing our driveway and I would take care of it. I have yet to hear from them several months later. We went with Trees unlimited because we could have possibly save some money with them, but I will end up spending an additional $7,000 dollars to fix what they destroyed. In fact, my wife gave them a $500 dollars tip because I was out of town and she had no idea of the damage they had done. I feel that she was taken advantage of because she was there alone... We werent even offered a discount because of the damage. I feel bad about this post because Jim was very nice and I have nothing against him personally, I just feel that they came in without any regards to the physical damage and only worried about getting the trees out in a timely manner. I NEVER write reviews for anything, good or bad, but If I had to do it over again I would definitely hire someone else to remove trees.

If you don’t mind having your property totally ruined, then go with them. They are good at felling trees but they will leave your property ruined with their equipment and do not make any effort to clean up. (They only have one leaf rake) They also just run over trees, and act surprised when you ask them to go ahead and take those small broken pine tree down and then complain about having to cut a 3” circumference tree into sections.“It’s too small to waste our time to cut it” says Jim.I now have also 6 old tree stumps with roots they ran over with their equipment. They just threw them on top of the cut pile when I asked them to dispose of them.Just say no to them.

Ive used Trees Unlimited, on and off, for eight years with outstanding results at very reasonable prices. Jim and his team are simply the best in the business. Period. They work hard and smart and coordinate teamwork work like the SF Warriors. Jim is an absolute pro who can cut down the biggest tree without damaging your roses or just trim away branches to open a view. 100% trustworthy. 200 % the right choice. And yes, they are loud because they are men cutting down trees - you know - chain saws and yelling instructions to someone 75 feet in the air. Duh. You can trust Jim with your toughest job. I have for years with great results. Sissies and whiners need not apply. These guys are the Right Stuff.

The hardest working group of men in the Tree Service business

The work that the Trees Unlimited crew did for me was phenominal. Precision work done with great expertise. 30+ trees felled with no damage to extremely close buildings. My only issue is that I paid for 8 hours of work (standard flat rate) and they were able to drop the trees I wanted down in 4 hours - in pouring rain! - then they moved on to their next client at noon. Double pay in the same day? I felt jipped. Even though I said just drop the trees, for fear they could not get it done in 8 hours, I feel that when they get that done quickly, they are obligated to continue to work bucking or whatever for the remaining time. Prior to their arriving at the jobsite I expressed concern that they were working at a neighbors after they were done with my place ( are we both paying for a full 8 hours?) I was promised that I would get my full 8 hours of work. Not so.
