Worst nail job ever! The lady at the front desk was the one doing my nails which is normal in this type of places, she was extremely rude, it hurt my cuticles, the nail polish job was horrible, I had nail polish all over my fingers and she said I was done, other lady came to help and said It looks really bad but there is nothing she can do.They made a $5 discount even when I asked her to make a discount or fix it. I end up paying $65 for a mani pedi that seemed to be done by a 5 year old.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE… stay away!

Not happy with this place just took both my daughters spent 160 dollars on nails after 2 and half hours i cant believe they charged me full price n not even that they charged me more then quoted and all 3 sets have issues. I ladys we had cut our fingers, I asked to have my nails removed but instead just painted over the pink and whites I asked for. My nails feel like they have moguls on them, there all bumpy and extremely big, they make my hands look old. Both my daughters nails look like they already need a fill.Asked to have them fixed, was told they were fine. Ill never go here again.

Recently a friend of mine and I decided to go Mai’s nails. Worst experience we have ever had. There was no heat. They did not use a dry lamp at all for acryli. Both our cuticles were destroyed. The nails have a horrible shape and you can see every brush stroke. S S.C. The nails are not even smooth at the end. She had a nail break in 24 hrs. They told us on the phone they did nail art but we were told different when we got there. They kept trying to get us to change what we wanted. They have maybe a total 20 colors to choose from but over 100 advertised.

These ladies are a heaven sent! I haven’t had a pedicure in over a year, due to the pandemic of course. My friend and I decided to give this nail salon a chance and I’m so glad we did! They were closing up early because we were 15 minutes late to our appointment (my fault, I got off work late) and we were their last clients for the day. They absolutely did not have to open their doors and provide a service to us since we were late but they did! They opened back up and got us in and I’m so grateful to them for it! We got an ultimate pedicure and it was so lovely. I didn’t realize how much I missed human touch. If you’re looking for a great place with incredible people who will treat you like family, check this place out!

I always get a good pedicure. Clean and professional.

Came for a fill, expecting to pay the advertised $18 before tip. After the fill and French polish I was charged $30, not sure why, especially since a french manicure is advertised as $8 so it should have been $26 at the very most, especially when they charge $28 for a full set. The pink they used for my french polish is uneven, and makes my nails look inflamed/unhealthy and a few hours later the polish is already chipping.Other than that, the tech was friendly and the nail shape and thickness was fine.

Im done with this place! This is the second time they did the crappiest job on my daughter! I called to try and talk to them but no owner is never there and she tried to explain herself but unfortunately I cant understand her! Bottom line is make it right! No more business here!

Not only was I angry with pedicure last month but Kelly who did my manicure last month was so so professional n sweet I came to see her today n bring up my issue with the lady who did my pedicure she omgeeee took care of me wax first than the best I mean the best pedicure yes I got the sixty dollar one but as I have a few times but wow the way she massaged really put me in a trance for a second im more than happy ask for Kelly plz plz try n really experience this has to be Kelly but she wont let you down

Employee moved personal bag dropped it, now my computer wont work! First call they hung up second call kept saying come in we fix it. I said youll fix the laptop..woman replied whats laptop. I said computer she said whats computer ..then again said we broke it we fix it nails.The day before the nails were done sloppily, Extra acrylic not cleaned up, nails did not fit fingers.

Awful experience. I brought my own organic base coat and nail polish. They dont speak English and acted like they didnt know what it was. It took an extremely long time for the woman to remove my old gel manicure polish. I barely had any chips 4 weeks later. This nail salon put on polish that chipped within 4 days. I asked to keep my nails long and she chopped them all off. They dont speak English. Do not go here.

I got a gel manicure with two friends of mine. We just walked in and they sat us in 5 minutes. They were willing to change colors for me in the middle of the manicure. It was overall a great experience and I’ll be going back soon.

I went to Mais because I couldnt get an appointment with my regular salon. I had one of the best pedicures Ive had. It is a very nice clean salon. Saw the negative reviews but decided to take a chance. They were not busy - maybe because of the negative reviews. There was only one other customer there. Basic pedicure was $28.

Very rough. I asked if they could do an ombre and one lady said no. I walked out to answer a call and another lady came out and asked what I wanted and I showed her. She said she could. It wasnt anything like I wanted. She asked if i wanted coffin style i said no i dont like coffin style and she still gave me coffin style. She rushed the whole thing. The nails are not smooth on top, bumpy. And 2 of my nails broke up off already. One broke after 2 days and the other after 4. I work in an office and thats when one came off. Other was at home while folding a blanket or something. Never going back again. I wanted cheap and got what I paid for.

Ive been going here for at least 5 years. The management has changed a few times as well as the personnel. I miss the old crew that used to be there. The staff has gone consistently downhill over the past year and a half and today was by far the worst pedicure Ive ever had. Filing job was poor and jagged, smears everywhere, and after I had sat under the dryer, I noticed that the top edges hadnt been painted like they always used to be. She corrected it, but still a substandard pedicure. I probably wont go back :( VERY disappointed because they used to be the best, now I have to find a new place.

I am afraid that as an infrequent visitor to this establishment each time I decide to just get a more and more basic treatment it is always unprofessional. The woman who began my manicure I am fairly certain wasnt licensed. Her hands were not clean and she spoke 0 English. She was so fast with the sharp cuticle clippers she cut right through my skin on my left ring finger. It bled a drop at a time all evening. I wasnt happy when that occurred and another woman came and politely took over. It was a simple clear polish mani, a D+ at best. The owner was at the end of the row of mani-tables and no one was in the shop, she didnt even look up from her phone and was quite unkind when I paid. I did leave a tip for the manicurist who was trying to save the experience.

My daughter got her nails done for the first time here. The woman who did them was very unfriendly never smiled, never said thank you, even when we gave her a tip. My daughters nails were terrible looking, all crooked and not even covering her whole nail. They were also very painful cause the woman was so ruff with her hands, made her bleed! Do not go here! Worst nail place ever!

I went here with my bridal party the day before my wedding. I had called the day before to set an appointment for 4 people for manicures and pedicures at 1:30. We got there and they acted like they had no clue we were coming. We were not seated until 2:50. Once we were seated, they started the foot bath and the water was so hot we couldnt even stick our feet in. They started the bath and walked away. As we were trying to get the ladies attention, 2 of our baths over filled onto the floor. They sat all of us at 2:50 but didnt start our pedicures until 3:05. Once we were finished we told them for the 3rd time we wanted manicures too. They freaked out because they had a big line out the door. Our manicures were awful. They made me and 2 of my bridesmaids bleed they were so rough with our hands. When we went to pay we asked for a discount and the manager freaked out again and cussed my mom out. Horrible experience. We will never be back.

Mais has affordable pedicures, tons of colors to choose from, and good customer services. Plus, they have a bunch of techs, so its pretty easy to get in w/o an appointment.

I went here for the first time after I could not get in to my regular nail shop. It was also the first time that I had gone in for an acrylic set since as a massage therapist for many years I could not have long nails. I finally decided it was time to get a set because since an accident in 2008 I could not work at massage any longer. so I went in on a walk in basis and they gave me Kimmy. Kimmy proceeded to do my nails as if she was mad at the world...it started out ok but then she laid into my hands like she hated me. I am a pretty tolerant person and it was late in the afternoon, but she was so forceful and going so fast she was nicking my fingers with the emery board. I asked her if she was mad at something and she said no. But continued to do what she was doing as fast as she could. I did not have my glasses with me so I coud not see how the nails looked when she was done very well. They seemed ok and I was being herded out of the place since it was closing time. When I got home I put my glasses on and could not believe my eyes. She had made the nails incredibly thick and they looked so fake. Not only that she had not taken the medium close to the cuticle so there was a space, the nail medium had black things in several of the nails that showed through the polish, there were pits and ridges and humps where the filing had not been done correctly, Many of the nails were not completely covered by the medium and the polish had flowed from the medium to the nail on the sides and near the cuticle and looked so amateurish I could not believe it. while she was working she made no attempt to keep anything clean, I had nicks on my fingers where the nail file had sawed into my flesh. It was a horrid job and I was charged $28.00 for it. I have worked in one of the best salons in California and never would our nail specialists have been allowed to send a customer out of the facility with this nail job, much less with her frantic rush to get it over with. The other people at Mais may be very fine but do not waste your time, money, and hands by going to Kimmy. The photo can be blown up to show issues better.
