It took no more than 5-minutes; something so simple that I should have figured it out, but Niko did, and Quietech got my computer up and running. The staff and technicians are positive, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable.We have found them to have high integrity. They are not quick to charge you for repairs unless they are needed. Scheduled appointment for 10:30-12. I was required to pay for the appointment at the time of scheduling. Showed up at precise time only to be told that they would need to schedule another pickup time for me because they are closed betweenWhen I told the owner that I loved 35 miles away and had scheduled this time in she told me that she did not want to do the work. When I informed her that I had a full day and had scheduled this time, she was not the least bit concerned. All of this because they close between 12-1.In response to Melissas comments-this has absolutely nothing to do with covid. I was given an appointment time. I was required to pay at time of booking and I received a followup email confirming my appointment. There was nothing said about a return appointment. Yes, I became angry when it became evident that I had just wasted my morning and had driven 35 miles for nothing.It was actually productive though, because I walked into Cracked, also in Grass Valley, and they fixed my phone within an hour without an appointment.

I made a huge mistake and took my IPhone XR to Cracked wireless in downtown about 6 months ago and had been having random issues with my screen ever since then. I knew when I walked in there that I had made a mistake but I thought would give the guy a chance to do a good job and he failed to say the least. After taking my phone to Quiet Tech today I found out that (Cracked) never put the moisture barrier back in the phone and hadnt set the screen in tightly/correctly so that’s what was causing my issues. I had the phone in my bathroom while I was in the shower yesterday and the moisture from the steam got in my phone due to not having the moisture barrier and it started malfunctioning again. This is my work phone and is basically has my whole life on it at this point. Also if the phone breaks under my care I have to pay for a new one. Anyhow I called Quiet Tech today and although they were out of new replacement screens he had me come down to at least see if we could try an old cracked screen they had lying around to see if the phone would still work or if in fact I would have to buy a new one. They got my phone working again and we’re able to explain everything that the other store had done wrong which was outstanding. There is a lot of tech in these phones and they were able to explain every detail and help me understand what really happened. He sent me home with a cracked replacement screen today but at least my phone is working and when they get the new screens in tomorrow or Thursday I will be going back into get it fixed good as new. Anyhow they basically completely saved my A** today so thank you quiet tech!!

The woman at the desk was so rude about waiting outside because she was helping a customer I decided to search for another phone repair service in the area. To my delight I found Crack’d Screen at 30% less than Quietech to replace the screen of my iPhone 7plus. $79 opposed to over $100 at Quietech. Both business are located in Grass Valley so shop around. I thought I would stay with Quietech but for the price difference and the woman with a poor attitude I’m taking my business elsewhere

Unfortunately I was not one of the many who have loved this company. The transfer of data from an old computer to a new one was very sloppy indeed, even having someone elses name on my e-mail. Also be prepared to conform to their rules in spite of anything else that might be happening. I was very disappointed.

The professionals at Quietech are top notch! Our office was having problems with three of our computers, two PC’s and a Mac. The PC’s (one is brand new) were running very, very slow. Even after we had them worked on by another company! We were referred to Quietch and we were not disappointed. We made an appointment and Melissa came out to our business to look at our computers on-site. She followed the states guidelines regarding COVID-19. She was friendly and professional and figured out the problem with both of our PC’s in a matter of minutes! We were both impressed and relived. She then took our Mac, which has crashed, back to her office. Another employee, Andrew, worked on the Mac in a very timely manner. He diagnosed the problem, communicated the issue to us, and had it fixed that same day. He was fast and professional. The owner took over from her father and has an entitled attitude. She caused many problems with my computer which she never fixed but still wanted to be paid! She was late for the appointment and didnt know how to do the job. One of her employees agreed. She also tried to sell me computer programs I did not need. Given her response in not knowing or having a record of customers that give her only a 4 star, and not a 5, many dont want to leave an honest review at all.

This place is AMAZING! The techs are unreal!!!I thought my iphone was toasted. Even took it to Verizon store and they confirmed. Could not turn it on. I took a laptop in to try to revive it...and not only did they save my files, they made a less expensive recommendation that made the laptop faster (I was looking at a more expensive option at first). I have never taken my computer in to any business to get fixed because most of these types of businesses look like theyre run by unprofessional and in my opinion shady characters. Quietech is about as professional a small business as they come, IMO. And regardless what those others say or think, that DOES make a difference.
