They asked a lot of questions to understand why we were wanting the windows tinted, for example ... privacy, to protect art work or furniture, or to prevent glare and/or heat.They made suggestions and were right on with what we wanted. They were very nice and have tons of knowledge about the different options. I wanted a custom setup that keeps a dark appearance and blends, and is legal all around. Cant stand the clear in the front, super dark in the back look, so this is way smoother. Cant have more respect for the installer James. His details were perfect, and the tint cured nicely. My interior looked untouched after he was finished. Price was also a great deal AND they have an excellent warranty.

Lone Star tinted some windows in my home in Colleyville, which was more difficult than it sounds. We were attempting to match tint on nearby windows that was installed many years ago. Great company! Called for an appt in the afternoon and Rhett was at my house the next day to provide an estimate. All tint options were clearly explained and I was informed upfront of price per sq/ft. Written estimate came back quickly and work was performed on-time and professionally. I selected the Llumar DR-25 and the difference in glare and heat reduction in my living room is amazing! Rhett and his install team wore face masks while inside our home and were very careful to make sure install area stayed clean. Upon completion, all areas were cleaned materials were hauled-away. Family of the owner told me that a broken windshield would be covered under their warranty. I agree to purchase the Air 90 and email myself all the warranty paperwork and receipt to remember me in case I get a broken windshield. Eventually I get one and they reply: The warranty doesn’t cover a broken windshield. Which means you would have to repurchase the film again with your new glass. Should have read the reviews and given my business to Pro Tint in Plano.

EDIT: Went to Lone Star for front windshield and sun roof tint (return business). Upon picking up my car, I discovered they drove the nose of my car into the grass OVER the curb. When I politely addressed and showed the employee my car in the grass, the only thing he could say was weve never had this happen before. Certainly doesnt help my situation.Lone Star was very friendly, quick to schedule an appointment (got an appt same day), and was pleased with the final product. I got the highest UV and IR grade tint (no antenna interference) and definitely notice the difference compared to no tint: reduced temperature and sun is less intense on my skin. I noticed a small bubble that didnt phase out after the 5 day period, so I called Lone Star up, scheduled an appointment (they were extremely flexible), and they fixed it at no-cost.

Nice people. Great window tint. Absolute horrible installation. Came back 5 times with problems. I had holes in the tint caused by tools used by the installer. When the sun hits the tint you can see all the tooling marks/scratches in the tint. Looks horrible despite returning 5 times. I gave up and used Pro Tint. Perfect the first time.

I have absolutely no clue what some of the negative reviews are talking about, this place is top notch! Took our Lexus GS 460 in for a full wrap and it was done in a timely and professional manner with great precision. Staff was understanding and addressed concerns of tinting corners and edges. Had the 2 front windows tinted on my Ford Explorer today. Had me in and out in 30 minutes. They use top quality Llumar films and offer lifetime warranty on their work, all for a very competitive price. If you’re looking for high-quality work on something special, don’t waste your time. You’ll be disappointed when the job is done poorly and frustrated when they don’t seem to understand what you’re talking about. When I got there, the place was empty –except for the two guys just sitting around and they were so obtuse that I actually thought I was on candid camera! It’s a bit of a drive but Earmark in Addison is much more professional and certainly more talented. Do yourself a favor and try them. These guys are idiots.Now I know what you’re thinking -Some of the reviews said that these guys were good and that’s what I went to them myself but that must have been before because now they don’t have a decent tinter anymore. The other thing is that the film they use is also pretty good so people think that they are better than they really are when it’s just the film.

I took my car here and waited 5 days to roll my windows down (3-4 is what they tell you, so I even gave it an extra day!!) and immediately my tint on the drivers side started to peel! They cut the edges poorly on all of the windows as well and you can even see scrape marks that are under the tint. I am so upset! I paid $200 for this tint and they messed it up! I am taking it back to them ASAP! I AM FURIOUS!!! THEY SUCK!!
