Jake the Key Man is the best! He immediately responded to my after hours message that we were locked out of our house. He was at my house in the 15 minutes he said it would take to get there. He quickly got us in, and charged the fair price he quoted on the phone. He was kind and professional. I will be visiting him soon for extra house keys. Wonderful service.

Have not had good experiences here in the past but today Jake took really good care of me!

They are rude to speak with in person and over the phone. I had two copies of the same key made in the same week one was cut based off the manufacture code and it was fine the second key was a copy of the original and it looks nothing like it the cuts are uneven and rigd, it wont even fit in the lock. He was more then happy to charge $100 per key and bost about being the only place in town that could make vehicle keys of this type. If I had another local option Id never do business here again. It was a sickening experience.

Took a Home Depot lock in to be keyed to my shop. Bart noticed that the lock was missing pieces and not really up to par with the security I was looking for. Sold me a better lock and keyed it for me at no extra charge within 15 minutes, for about the same cost as the home depot lock + rekey cost. Happy to give them my business in the future.

Charged me 80 bucks to have a key fob reprogrammed after they said 50 on the phone and they ranted about much cheaper they were than the dealerships. After getting it done I called the dealership.. they charge 80.... And the dealership gets your original car key layout from Toyota rather than copying it from a worn copy.In short, dealership had a better deal. (Surprisingly). Wasted money. Wont be going back.

Wife just came back to let me know they will take advantage of women. We had key blanks in hand to be cut for our car and before she could give them over, they already started cutting keys with their own blanks, all this mind you after she already said she has her own blanks, then they proceed to tell her she has to pay for their mistake, thus rendering any little money we could save while both being out of work useless, not to mention they cost more then the quote we had from the dealership to begin with

I used the 24 hour emergency service today. Shaun got here quickly, got me in to my home quickly, even though it took some fudging and a few adjustments. Then he re installed the lock for me. He also worked on a plan for the invoice for me given the circumstances and didnt charge me any extraneous fees beyond the service call. He was good natured and polite. I hope never to need them again, LOL but they were a great help on a really bad day and Shaun was fantastic. Absolutely zero complaints and all 5 stars!

I get all my keys made by the key man. However, this was the first time I went to this store. I did not have a good experience here. This could of been that it was close to closing, but I stood at the front counter for a good while and the worker did not say a word to me. Then their was some other worker behind a wall talking to the first worker. Once I finally got help I told the worker what I needed and he had to ask 2 more times what I wanted. In short last time I go to this key man location.

These guys rock! Fast service, Mom and pop feel. They will work with you to get the job done. Had a picture of my key, and they found a blank that may work and hand carved it. Wouldn’t guarantee it, but it’s the effort that counts. The key worked to boot!!! Always have gone to these guys, and always will

Very disappointed with the location by Applebees in Grants Pass. We walked into the shop to have a single house key made. There was a man in the lobby area, whom we assumed was a client until we saw him walk back behind the counter area. He then proceeded to restock keys on a display, never once acknowledged us. Mind you, the lobby is the size of a postage stamp! My husband finally made the first greeting, to which the man continued to place keys on the holder. Finally he asked what we needed and we told him. I pulled out a $20 bill which was the smallest I had. He asked if I had anything smaller as he didnt have change....which I could understand - but when I said that I could use my debit card instead, he said I cant take a card for less than $10. Unbelievable! He wouldnt take my only option to pay when it was their issue that they couldnt make change!!!

Every time i go inThere its a joke. They lose my keys and cant find them, they dont fix what i need fixed the first time and they dont take down my info. So when i go back in to pick up my items they dont know what its for or who took my order. And i never get a call saying my item is ready for pick up. Terrible customer service and organization.

SMH, I hung up and called the next company on the list. -- They will be here tomorrow, so only one night without sleep.Dear Owner,It will never again be convenient for me to call you for anything. I had said such nice things about your employee and put up with the poor installation because you have such nice people and they were going to get back to me...months later, I am still dealing with this issue and then I dealt with you tonight because I couldnt ignore the problem anymore ( finally got too bad to lock) and you were horrible.Bad news spreads faster than good, just saying.

I GAVE THE REPRESENTATIVE THE INFO FROM THE DEALERSHIP TO CUT A NEW KEY FOR MY HONDA AND HE WROTE IT DOWN WRONG, AFTER I OFFERED TO FAX HIM THE PAPER WORK FROM HONDA. I THEN GOT A CALL SAYING WE HAVE TO CHARGE YOU AN EXTRA $40 BECAUSE THE KEY CODE DIDNT MATCH AND WE HAD TO DO EXTRA WORK. WELL IF YOU TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN TO CUSTOMER YOU COULD OF SAVED YOURSELF SOME WORK. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND KEYMAN TO ANYONE! SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND GO TO THE DEALER OR BEARCREEK LOCK THEY ONLY CHARGED $20 MORE THAN KEYMAN AND DONT GIVE YOU THE FEELING OF NOT APPRECIATING YOUR BUSINESS.

I had trouble with my cars ignition that when you inserted the key into the ignition it would not turn and the steering wheel would not unlock.i called the keyman and he gave me some troubleshooting over the phone to see if i could resolve the problem my problem was in need of a locksmith.I ended up towing the car into their shop (they also do repairs on sight but since i had triple a i had it towed to their shop,).they started working on it right away and they were able to repair my ignition in a very short time,they did a very professional job and the price for the repair was very reasonable.if you need a locksmith or some keys made you cant go wrong with the keyman in grantspass .thanks again for getting us back on the road
