We broke down outside of Grants Pass on our way home from vacation. They snuck us in the next morning, despite being very busy, and got us back on the road before noon, so we only had to get one night in a hotel. They were extremely helpful, compassionate, and professional. The tow truck driver recommended them and we feel so fortunate to have worked with them.

Love the service this shop provides! I recently purchased a 2010 Tahoe and two days later my check engine light turned on. Took my rig into Kellys for a diagnostics, a trip check, and included a long list of points of concern.The folks at Kellys eased all of my concerns from my list, and my check engine light was a minor fix. They were also able to remove the funky smoke smell from my vehicle by giving it an ozone treatment. (My car smelled terribly of smoke, air freshener, and dog. from the previous owner.) My drivers side door also had a squeak that they took care of too!I am so grateful for the quality of service and attention that they put into my vehicle. This place offers everything you want for your go to auto shop, from the great atmosphere and welcoming folks at the front, to the guys working hard in the back.I absolutely would recommend this shop!

Very thankful and pleased with Kelly’s Auto. I got trapped up in Grant’s Pass. They accepted my car last minute, and were able to store my car (at no extra charge) for 6 days while I went back down to Nor Cal to wait at home for the repairs.They did take a little bit longer than expected, however, it was worth the wait. My car ran beautifully once I got it back. The price seemed fair, and they even helped me out and gave a discount when I let them know I was tight on cash.The staff were beyond helpful and friendly.Overall great experience, would definitely recommend.

Two days ago, my alternator went out. Got a jump and took it to Kellys, where Curtis worked me into their schedule with options to have a rebuilt or new alternator (chose new for warranty). After a diagnosis and suggested oil change, my vehicle is in great shape, Im so satisfied that the service was professional, the staff was awesome, the curtesy driver was amazing... just the entire ordeal was satisfying to know that this kind of service still exists, I wasnt just a number! ABSOLUTELY, if your vehicle has issues, these guys are... dare I say, excellent. Cant say enough about them, I will never go any where else. Absolutely amazing service! Staff will do anything they can to help out in anyway they can. Even though they were fully booked, they were able to fit us in when we broke down on a road trip home. Within 4 hours we were back on the road with no problems. This was especially nice after the horrible service we received at the Medford Kia Dealership, who claimed to have “fixed” the issue after having my car there for two weeks.

Absolutely amazing experience. Our car blew a radiator hose a couple of miles outside of Grants Pass. We were able to essentially coast into the hotel we had planned to stay for the night. The next morning we started calling to find service for the car. David said they were very backed up (40 cars in front of us) but to bring it in and hed see what he could do. Meanwhile we are debating having the car shipped and renting one to get back home. Matt the mechanic was able to get it in by end of that day and confirm what we thought had happened. They had to order parts and had it fixed the next day for about 1/2 of what we thought it might cost.Matt the mechanic and David at the front desk are simply awesome!!!

Can’t recommend Kelly’s enough. All staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. We had to get towed here last minute and they stayed an hour past close to make sure my car would be ready for us that night. Curtis and Matt were especially helpful! No words to adequately describe how good our experience was. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs car repairs.

I arrived at the shop because it was highly recommended by my tow service. I arrived on Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and had to sleep in a parking lot until Friday morning. Much to my amazement they bothered to come in on Black Friday. I met them at the door at 7:45 as they were opening and told them that my car wouldnt start or stay running. They had my car in the shop at a priority by 8:15. They had it diagnosed by 10:00 and had the parts found and ordered by 10:15. The parts werent supposed to arrive till 3:30 but they managed to get him there by 1. My car was released to me by 2:30 the same day I brought it to them. These guys were kind, helpful and reasonably priced. Later that afternoon I ended up meeting the owner and he felt so bad that I didnt get a chance to get home to have dinner with my family he invited me over on Black Friday to have leftovers with his family. My wife, son and I accepted and had a wonderful evening getting to know Dave and Lisa. Another thing worth noting is that the mechanic that was in showed up even though he had a horrible tooth ache and he was the one that saved me from having to sit for another day. That mechanic is a real God sent in my opinion and extremely good at his job. You see I work as a mechanic I wasnt able to diagnose it but hes a better mechanic and even I am and thats saying a lot. To help me out even farther they did a complete inspection on my vehicle and found a few things that I didnt know existed. I didnt hire them or pay them to do that inspection. They did it to be charitable good Christian people. This shop will not let you down if you give him a chance. I will definitely go back and see my new friend Dave and Lisa again. Also the two service riders in there are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

I’m not sure how anyone could possibly give Kelly’s Automotive Service a bad rating! They are absolutely the very best automotive service company, and for that matter of any type of company, I have EVER had the pleasure to have work on my Truck and that’s saying something since I have been driving for almost 50 years. Here are a couple of examples of Kelly’s Automotive Service’s great customer service: I had 2 batteries (diesel engine) go bad on me. The AAA tow truck driver highly recommended Kelly’s Automotive Service to me, which made me skeptical from the get go. The tow truck driver jump started my truck and I immediately drove over to Kelly’s Automotive Service. David immediately had my batteries checked AND the electrical system for FREE. EXCELLENT! Most places just put in new batteries and let the existing bad alternator kill them so they can sell you a new set when you come back to have the bad alternator replaced which should have been done in the first place. Turns out the alternator was ok but not perfect and I know this because they let me watch them do the test. Their recommendation was to replace the batteries and recheck the alternator to be sure. After replacing the batteries they rechecked the alternator and it wasn’t quite perfect. They suggested I drive it around for a few days and come back and they would check it again for free, which they did. Up to this point everything was going great, but now it got amazing! I told David, just after paying for the new batteries, that I had just brought up my truck from my other home in San Diego and that I was concerned that the cold weather might be a problem. He immediately got one of the mechanics to check out my truck for potential cold weather issues. He checked the antifreeze and added a bunch, he checked my wiper fluid and added a bunch of wiper fluid to keep it from freezing, he checked the engine oil level and, I’m ashamed to say, added about a gallon of oil (with modifications the truck holds about 5 gallons of oil), and he checked a few other things. I know he did all of these things because I got to watch him. Now hang on to your hats, when I asked David how much I owed him for all that he said “nothing just be sure I had them check the alternator again after I drove it a little”. NOTHING! ZIP! NATHA! Here is another example: I was getting ready to go on a long drive and I wanted to get my oil and filters changed so off to Kelly’s Automotive Service I went. With very little notice they got me in and did the oil change including hunting down my bi-pass filter which can be a pain to find. They also did, as part of their customer service, and inspection of about 40 different items which I very much appreciate because it helps keep me and mine safe. They did all this in a couple of hours and Jared constantly let me know where they were in the process while I waited in what had to be the most comfortable waiting room I have ever been in. While I was in said waiting room I saw them coming and going and overheard them talking about some improvements they were doing. It was great hearing what great pride they took in “their” company ...and it really comes across in their customer service. Even though I have only interfaced with David and Jared so far, I am sure all of Kelly’s Automotive Service employees are great because in the short couple of moments I had with the owner you could tell he took great pride in not only his “company” but especially in his employees...it made me wish I could get to know him better. You just don’t see bosses like that anymore.

My Wife and I were travelling back to WA from Northern California and our transmission overheated and left us on the side of I-5 for about 45 minutes. On a very hot day. We immediately googled the nearest places. Jiffy Lube was nearby, but I wanted some really solid advice as my vehicle is very decently maintained and I used to work on cars when I was younger.We finally started our car and limped it in to Kellys, without calling or anything. Jared greeted me, my wife was outside with the dog giving him water, and Jared gave it to to pretty straight that they were all booked up and pretty busy. He did offer some water for us, and then I think he noticed a technician was pulling a car out so he asked him if he wouldnt mind pausing for a few to look at our Sentra.We had about 6 or so 3 gallon jugs in the car with us, and a trunk full of camping gear, and a minor leak on the passenger front axle. They brought me out to show it to us, and advised that we keep an eye on the leak and said that we could baby it home by driving for an hour or so and stopping for 30 minutes and letting it cool down.They were absolutely right, so we found a dog park every hour on the way home and it ended up being an absolutely wonderful experience.Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness, Grants Pass has an absolute gem with you guys. We had some issues with our family car that my wife uses daily. It was making a strange rattling noise. I’m new to the area and wasn’t sure who to go to. I looked up mechanics near me and Kelly’s was the first thing that popped up and I’m sure glad about that. Jared got us in the very next day and we had our car back within hours. This meant a lot because I could tell they were very busy. They took care of the rattling issue and more for a very low price. Kelly’s Automotive was quite literally a God-send! While my husband and I were on a cross country toad trip, we broke down in Grants Pass. We were towed there, and by the next morning, they had diagnosed the problem and fixed it, having us on the road in no time. They were so sweet to give the car a look quickly and take care of the simple fix in no time, so we wouldn’t get too behind on our schedule. Incredibly friendly staff and expert service, it felt like getting help from family!

NEVER GO HERE. Unless you absolutely have to. They take advantage of their customers by DOUBLE CHARGING. $206 for a $108 part and double for labor as well! Disgusting!

I took my car in for service recently. I had to bring my kid with me and they were super welcoming. There’s even a television with streaming services so my toddler was happy (which makes me very happy!). Car is running great. The employees were kind and helpful in their explanations of the service provided. Definitely will be returning for further maintenance on my vehicles!

I had an appointment at Kellya last month for an oil change. I arrived 15 minutes late but called them. I told them I would be waiting for my car. 3 1/2 hours later my car was finished. They did pay for my service but felt they were not up front about what was actually going on with my car. I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know about the service I recieved.

So far, good. Nice Service People. Wait until I pick up my VW Vanagon that I brought back in for aircon repair.

My vehicle broke down and with my AAA service I was able to have my car stored with them for over 50 hours until I was able to make arrangements to have it towed closer to where I live. Greatly appreciated.

David in the front office goes above and beyond to make sure youre satisfied. Dillon the mechanic checks everything and even tightened my loose rear view mirror! Gave me a loaner car while repairing mine. Great service with a smile (behind the mask 😷).

I took my car to Kellys automotive and I never will again. They charged me $727 for a crankshaft position sensor and a starter which didnt even fix my car and later I found out my starter had already replaced by the previous owner (my car has 75,000 miles) I also paid they diagnostic fee which is supposed to tell me me wrong with my car I got no receipt or proof that my car was worked on and I had to take back 3 times (they still didnt fix it). After the 3rd time they told me it was either the ignition control module and my ecu which was supposed to cost me a total of $1300 thats what I was quoted. When I went to autozone both parts were about $150 and it took about 10mins to replace I dont know any mechanic thats gets paid that much. They also told me that my ecu was going to need to be reprogram but when I called the dealership they told me its plug and play I did it myself and my car is running great. I feel very taken advantage of so I hope no one else makes the same mistake.

The team at Kellys Automotive is professional, courteous, and candid. From the quote to the repair, they communicate the details about price and mechanics in a precise and straightforward manner. I brought in an old Honda Element to replace the suspension and to repair other mechanical ailments. When they returned the car, one of the parts replaced failed within minutes. I immediately brought the car back, and mechanics combed through the system only to discover the part they had ordered was defective. So they apologized, replaced the part with a better version, and ofcourse, charged me nothing extra. The car is perfect now, humming along with umph and crusing tight turns without bouncing or jigging. Kellys perfection creates high demand for their services, but patience is rewarded.

I was let go from my job on 9/11/20 and by the following Monday all kinds of irritating things went wrong. One being my trunk hasn’t been able to close so hence the rope and bungee cord. Since I had time I went to an auto repair around the corner from Kellys’ and they were so busy they wouldn’t even look at my trunk latch. I would have to wait at least a week with rain coming this week. I just happened to catch a glimpse of the Kelly’s sign and they were busy as well however Jared called the owner Dave to take a look and bless his heart he grabbed his tools and know how and fixed it in10 minutes! This was our first time getting car work done, and think we will be staying loyal customer . They diagnosed our car, helped us make it affordable, and helped pick what would be a top priority, and what could wait. The front man was kin, and understanding. Since we got all this done during COVID 19 crisis, they also went to great lengths to keep everybody healthy, even having clean pens and dirty pens.

They had my car back to me in a timely manor and I have had no problems with it since. Quality work and very professional. I will definitely be using them for any future needs!

I went to get my AC repaired thinking I would need to replace the compressor, and not only did they diagnose that it was not the compressor, but they got the issue fixed in record time in my opinion. Rather than paying over $1000 for a new compressor, I paid just over $200 to fix a leak and recharge the system. I am a student and don’t necessarily have a lot of money to spare, so that $800 save was a miracle. Not only do they provide incredible services, but they are all friendly and have a TV to watch movies and a few books to read while you wait. On top of all this, I received a hand-written thank you not from them thanking me for getting my car serviced with them. I have never gotten my car repaired and received a hand-written note. I thank God that Kelly’s Automotive exists, because otherwise I may have been put into a financial bind. Thanks guys!

My car broke down around eight one night last week 150 miles from home, and 250 miles from my destination. In retrospect Im glad it happened where it did, just outside of Grants Pass in southern Oregon. When AAA determined the work I needed (a new alternator) was beyond the scope of roadside assistance, I looked for a local auto service establishment approved by AAA, and found Kellys. Their reviews are overwhelmingly five stars and deservedly so. I was there when they opened, they got right to work on my car, I was back on the road by midday, and the car runs great. The staff is helpful and friendly, and I recommend them to you without reservation.

I truly can not say enough amazing things about Dave and his wife! My key got stuck in my Ignition which caused it to be stolen by Gods grace we got it back in perfect condition. Times have been extremely difficult since our daughter got diagnosed with acute Lymphoblastic leukemia. I got ahold of Dave to see if he could check it out and see what it would cost to fix it. This amazing man came to my house took my car back to his shop and fixed it!!!!! This amazing man would not let us pay him. The world needs to know there are still amazing people in this world! My water pump went out on the Sunday before Labor Day, 220 miles from home. Kelly came out on Monday after answering the emergency after hours line to see if it was a quick fix. Turns out it was a small irreplaceable plug in the line to the pump. The enter pump had to be replaced. Because my vehicle engine compartment is compact and turned on its side, it is a difficult access. They had my car torn apart for almost two weeks getting things fixed. I also had them do a break and router replacement and a 100k mile tune up. Kelly and his staff kept in contact with me every couple of days to give me updates on their findings and information back from the manufactures dealership. They seemed very up front, informative and answered all of my questions. I would recommend Kellys for all of your automotive needs!

What a great experience. My daughter was new to Grants Pass and her car broke down. I drove 3 hours to help take care of things and found the car would not run at all. Kelly’s accepted the car being towed in and I come by later to provide my information. I knew it would take a while to be repaired. It was almost closing time on Friday. I knew they wouldn’t read the codes until Monday. When they called me Monday afternoon, it was a disconnected wire and goofed up sensor that was reset. They got on it quicker than I expected and was only charged the analysis fee. The customer service was outstanding. Now she knows where to take her car or who to call when there is a problem! This was my first experience with Kellys Automotive Service. I had received a quote from my dealership for a 60K mile major tune up which prompted me to obtain two more quotes from independent service shops. Kellys evaluated the quote and the service needs that had been identified and let me know that not all of the items needs attention now and could wait until 75K miles. I appreciated the honest evaluation by Kellys service manager. The experience was excellent; having the option of a loan car was very helpful; Kellys will now be mygo to service provider. We recently took a trip down from Portland, and about half ways down we started having issues with our truck. Fortunately some friends from the area referred us to Kelly’s Automotive. They were able to get us in right away, diagnose the problem, and get it fixed before we needed to head back home a few days later. They were quick, friendly, honest and very reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend them!

I first decided to bring my vehicle to Kellys because they were suggested through my AAA membership. Since then, Ive become a loyal customer.I am happy with their service. They do quality work. I trust them and they are knowledgeable enough (and patient enough) to explain my vehicles issues to me. They also have a great group of people to work with, everyone is kind, and I feel like they genuinely care about me as a customer. The shuttle system is TOP NOTCH and so useful. Theyve never been anything but polite, even when I have to bring all four of my kids with me for an oil change. ;)Ill be staying with Kellys for as long as I live in this area!

I was very lucky to find this repair shop. We were heading through town with the whole family in the car when our transmission failed New Years Eve. They agreed to see us right away, quickly diagnosed the problem and even took me under the car to see it. They also let me keep the vehicle there so I could ship it back home later. All at a modest charge. If I lived in the Medford area Id use this shop exclusively.

Great staff! Honest, reliable work! Excellent results! Honestly, I just go there for the cupcakes and cookies.

This is the best place to have repair work done. My husband and I were beyond grateful and surprised of how honest, friendly, reasonably priced and competent these people were. We wouldnt take our Subaru to anyone else.

Very courteous and friendly. they had my vehicle for several days trying to figure out what was going on with an electronic component of the Jeep and after everything said and done they narrowed it down to a certain point but realized that and had to be sent off to a specialist and they didnt even charge me for there time and I place alot of value in what we do with our time. I asked them if they would like some kind of money but they said no thank you and even offered to drive my Jeep to another shop at no charge. Wow, is all I have to say about that! If you dont use these folks well? I would like to say thank you Kellys automotive and God bless you all!

Our car broke down on our way home from getting my oldest sons things from college at the very beginning of the Covid-19 quarenteen. They were very kind, and wete willing to wait for us to get it towed to them and did their best to get us back on the road. It took a while for them to get it fixed, because they had to order parts and there was a lot more wrong with it than we thought.They called me and gave prompt up to date updates and accurate price quotes.The repairs were done very well, and our car is now running like new! Im very happy with their service!

Kelly’s is the only place to go! They are awesome, caring people. They even gave me a loaner car, as that was a major concern for me. Never been disappointed!

I brought my (prospective) first car here to be inspected (buyers inspection). They did a thorough job of the inspection, informed me clearly and kindly of what was to be done, the condition of everything, etc. Everyone here was very polite and respectful. Definitely a Mom and Pop type business with personable treatment of customers and affordable service. Plus, they had a nice, comfortable waiting room with leather couches and a table and chairs (or negotiating room- sorry, guys, that we didnt ask first). As a young car owner and college student, I was 10/10 pleased with their service and their ability to get me in as soon as possible. Travelling through the area my pickup pulling a 37 fifth wheel began to run at reduced power. Trevor Blake went way above and beyond to expedite the repair and get me back on the road within 2 hours replacing fuel filter Fantastic old fashion SERVICE you dont find these days.A different repair shop nearby told me at least a week before they could even look at it.Thank you so much.

Very friendly and helpful on solving the problems on your vehicle. I would go back for their services. They also take you home when finished and pick you up. However i did forget to ask if they do discount for seniors and if they have a discount coupons. They are willing to work with you and also send you a thank you card for been their new customer..

Great service, wonderful people, pretty fair price. Highly recommend this mechanic. Theyll even pick you up from work and drop you off at home while your cars in the shop.

Such a friendly environment, I had to wait with my 2 year old son while I got my oil changed and he was entertained the whole time in the waiting room with toys/tv. He even was welcomed to sit inside the vintage mustang in the Lobby. They also topped off my wiper fluid for free, and checked my car for any complications before I left. 10/10 recommended!

I went to see if my a/c was working right with a coupon that stated a/c check $39.99 through some misunderstanding I was charged $175 then found my review and offered me to have it vacuumed out the Freon while my friend puts in an a/c compressor because it’s only $230 vs $1000 for them to do the complete job after it was installed I went back to get the Freon put in. He tells me it’s got no pressure and it’s probably a leak or bad compressor. He said for $89 he can find out where the leak is and then for more fix it and for more put Freon on it. My friend and I checked all the o-rings to make sure their wasn’t a leak we put a can of pro max Freon in it and we could hear it leaking and see it after I thought it was fixed I went to Toms automotive shop and he put Freon in it but it was leaking from the same place point here is Kelly’s obviously knew where the leak was but still going to charge me Jim the manager charged me for the little bit of Freon I used $30+ and then said it would be $163 to fill and fix the leak I went to pick it up and it was ONLY $90 now I have a/c without costed me a fortune Jim also fixed my alternator for only $230 SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!!! Don’t go to Kelly’s their rip off

I stopped by when they were about to close on a friday afternoon but Dylan helped me anyway. He scanned my engne for the check egine code and was knowledgeable about the problem. If i lived in GP id take my car there anytime. Thanks Dylan!
