Ive been going to this location for a year or so now. Never had an issue. All stylists do a great job. Ask for a specific stylist or first available. Get the app for early checking and to get on the wailist before you show up its an awesome place. Thanks for the best cut ladies!

Jelena was very attentive and focused on my haircut. Was also very compassionate and informative regarding my thinning hair and recommended a treatment that helps in restoring scalp health.

My husband asked for a fade, and that is NOT what he walked out with. It looks like he has a bowl cut but he was too scared to say anything so we’re now going somewhere else to try and get it fixed. It looks absolutely awful. I’m honestly shocked that the hair stylist even let him walk out of the shop like that.

Always a good haircut and good conversation when I want to talk. Highly recommend.

The stylist who did my hair was amazing and very friendly. She did my hair better than I could imaging and she used a hot towel on my face and washed my hair after I was done. Very satisfied. Will be returning

Every single time I go in there, I have to specifically say that the hair needs to be blended. And never seems to fail that I have to send one of my two boys back to the chair to have their hair corrected. Exact thing happened today. Lisa was amazing and did a great job!!! Kai on the other hand, has no business having a set of clippers in her hand. I for sure wont be back. Shame on me for trying to give them chances!!!!

I’ve been going to this Sport Clips since I moved here a little over a year ago. The staff is super friendly, and I definitely feel welcome when coming in.If you’re looking for a place, this place is great. I always go in and get the MVP haircut.

You ever go someplace and everything about the experience is different in a way that sets it apart? Had never been to a sport clips before today and my mind was blown. Stylist did an awesome job helping me find a good look as well as giving recommendations for product. Used to go to Jude’s, but this place has perfected the men’s haircut. I would recommend sport clips to anyone in an instant!

With hair salons reopening in MI after the stay at home orders, our family looked on-line for businesses that were taking the precautions and CDC recommendations seriously. We chose SportsClips based on the messaging on their web-site. We were equally impressed with how serious the staff implemented their policy. Too many times you see signs outside a business stating their policy, but inside there are no attempts to enforce or have their own employees follow them. If you are looking for a business with integrity, having their customers well being in mind while offering a great service, I highly recommend SportsClips (Grandville, MI location especially).

I found it extremely difficult finding someone in town to cut a great fade. I have never had a bad haircut from Rebekah! She takes her time and actually enjoys doing it. I highly recommend her and Trina if you are looking for a awesome cut!

Have only been going to Micky for 2 years now, followed her from Kentwood location now to Grandville. She is the best stylist of all time. My boyfriend Sam goes for his beard mainly and haircuts and never walks out disappointed. Thanks for all you do and always going above and beyond to get him in !!

We go here to get a haircut for our 3 1/2 year old boy. We have had three different stylists at this point and they have all done an excellent job of cutting his hair like we ask, but even more importantly they are able to work with him to relax and sit still. Definitely recommend.

The turnover ratio for stylists was the reason I stopped going. Each one knew less and less about their customers wants in a haircut. More and more the morale seemed to slip it seemed with less people having a good day. The prices are pretty good but it got to the point I didnt want to explain my haircut every time to the stylist. I thought thats what the computer system was for? Also, they had some sort of new system in there my last time in. It annoyed me so much I havent been back. Something about having to check in electronically versus signing in. Annoying.

A bit pricey but I love the MVP experience. They really know how to take care of a guy here. I used to go to Supercuts but cant find one for the life of me now a days lol. Ive tried great clips and lady Janes and both of them messed up my hair (which is hard to do with the type of cut I like). But Sport Clips hasnt messed it up yet. Been going here for about 3yrs now I think. Hot towel on the face while getting a head massage is 👌 so amazing.

Took my son to get his hair cut and they did an awesome job! My little guy is only one and they made him feel very comfortable. The first hair cut hes gotten that he didnt cry :)

Smaller facility (when compared to their other sites around GR) but still one of the only barbershops for men that can actually cut hair correctly. Go see Lyndsey and your hair will be taken care of better than you ever could.

Allison was our stylist and she did an awesome job! I was nervous about cutting my sons hair (hes been growing it out forever) but we had a vision and she nailed it!!! Very happy with the results!

My son loved it!! He is 14 and she spoke directly to him and asked what he wanted etc. He loved the shampoo she used too. (Trust me, he is not easily impressed;-)

Your rating will change based on whos cutting your hair. There are some there that I dont even need to explain what I want, and Im confident that they will get it right. Others, I have given them clear instructions, and they got it horribly wrong. At this point, I only go if certain people are working. All of that said, they have been very receptive to the feedback Ive given them, and often given me a discounted rate if I got a haircut that I wasnt pleased with. They care about customer service.

Emily Emily Emily... she is the best stylist I have ever had. Her craft is customer service and expert hair cuts. Superb. The location is clean and the service is very good at this location. I wouldnt say the same of other locations like Standale. It really comes down to the stylist. The wrong one and it could go bad. Just ask for Emily and Quadruple that MVP...!

Not every haircut is perfect at a chain, but the ladies here are really great.

Used to love how they cut my husbands hair the last three times hes had his haircut its been horrible we just went today and I am so upset that he even paid money for that we are at home fixing it now they really shouldnt hire people that dont know how to cut hair and need guidance multiple times throughout the haircut I understand everybody needs to learn but maybe you should let them know youre really new and dont know what youre doing before you put Clippers to their head

This place needs better time management. Signed in online told me the wait is a hour I go in after the hour and it still says 2 hour wait on the board. Asked why the inconvenience and they said their worker was at the bank during work hours. I didnt stay to wait again

Decent haircuts, but beware the add ons. They get pricey and are not worth it. Fun atmosphere.

I usually dont have much to say about chain haircut places, but Ive been visiting this location only to see Trina and her great team! I havent been loyal to a stylist for about 3 years since I moved to the Grand Rapids area!

Mikki gives me the best bald fade Ive had. Overall staff is also friendly

Used to be a great place until recently. Worse part is when you get on the list there is a 30 min wait. Wasnt a problem takes me 25 mins to get there. Get there and sat for another 25 mins. And there was additional people on the wait list before me when i got on the list online. Done going to this location if any other.

Felt very welcomed and they did a great job with both of my boys who have very different hair types.

My boyfriend just got his hair cut here and it was the worst haircut I have seen in a while. We ended up going to a different barber, that is how bad it was. He asked for a fade while keeping the length on the top. She cut his sides all one length and cut half the length off the top. His neck was cut uneven and he had long hair still left on his sides. To add to this, she gave him bangs. Actually bangs.

Awful place. I was in with my son getting his haircut yesterday. He was not much in the mood for talking, and did not respond much to what the stylist, Brandi, was asking him. A couple of hours later my husband went in to get his haircut as well. The woman who cut my sons hair was saying terrible, nasty things about my son & I to a co-worker in front of other clients, including my husband. I find this to be extremely inappropriate. One, that she was a nasty enough person to talk about a child that way, and two, because it was was being openly discussed in front of other clients. Mind you, neither my son, nor I did anything wrong to this woman. When I called today to speak to the manager, Emily, she did not seem even a little but concerned about the employees behavior. & to top it all off, both of their haircuts were very poorly done. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this SportClips, or any SportClips for that matter.

Service is good and typically fairly quick. If you go durning lunch or after work you can wait a while. Nothing special, average hair cut for an average price.
