On pickup and return, staff was very helpful and accommodating, given my short notice of needing a car. I called before return to get an extra hour without charge. This was granted, and confirmed when I returned the car, but I still got charged for the extra hour. Without this, I would have given 5 stars

Pleasant experience renting a car for a one way trip.
I always have a positive experience renting at this Enterprise. This time they went out of their way to clean the vehicles I requested very quickly so I could make it to a meeting on the other side of town on time. Everyone helped out even the people who usually stay behind the counter.
Was good service for the most part. Wasnt aware of the fact I would not get a refund for bringing the vehicle back sooner than the time it was due back. Paid for an extra day and a half more than needed. Was not informed of this until after returning it or would have just kept it the full length of time.Really bad service. Was told someone would be in contact with me to see what happened. That was a lie. Use another company for vehicle rental needs. Most have better rates and wont make you feel ripped off. Sad too because enterprise was my go to place. I recommend budget car rental. Way better service and rates.The offer to look into this did not happen. That reply was only for those who read reviews to pretend that enterprise would is a good company and not scammers

A 3 week long repair of my truck resulted in the need of a rental. The dealer and Enterprise work together to make that happen. Top notch service from Enterprise in Grandview Missouri as well as Raytown Missouri. Booked a reservation online and when I arrived the only vehicle they had was a mini barbie car. When we came back later they tried to charge me double of what the original price was supposed to be for a week rental and they said it was for a deposit. The reservation said NOTHING about having a deposit, save time go to AVIS they do not require a deposit and they have better customer service. I had to give one star to publish this
The Grandview Mo location were not equipped for the reservation and made me feel like it didnt matter if they received my business.
Had a smooth experience and no problems with extending car rental for a few days longer when it was time to return the vehicle. The rental itself had few mileage and it was a newer vehicle.

This was my last rental with Enterprise. I want to be able to travel with my dog and they dont allow pets uncrated. I drive all over the US and I am not going to crate my dog. I wish they would have specific automobiles that customers could rent where pets are allowed. I am very disappointed in Enterprise.

Great group of people. Clint was great, got me right and set up in a Nissan Armada while my car was in the shop. They called to check and make sure everything was going OK with the rental. They even kept up on my insurance claim to tell me when my insurance was going to quit covering the rental.
Sales people very helpful over the phone and in person to person contact. I needed to extend my rental twice and there was no hassle, just fast accommodation. I will return if and when I need another car rental.

Car was great except it smelled very strongly of takeout food which I smelled the entire 3 days of my rental. Notified on dropoff and was credited $50 towards my bill.

This place made me miss work and lose my job and college classes because they didnt want to follow through with the reservations my insurance company (progressive) set up for me. Tried giving me a vehicle that had drinks still in the cup holder. Carpets were hella dirty. Trash in the backseat.

Did not tell us everything we need after we ask sell person over the phone that ask for deposit of 300 plus the fees. Thay did not have the car ready for us for pick up I get it snow does have set backs but call a person to say there going to set backs
Awful place. Got my rental car with 100 more miles until it needed and oil change. Also someone there messed up my return date and they tried to keep my deposit.
Enjoyed experience with renting a car for a week long trip. Employees were helpful and had a Covid response policy in place to lessen interaction with others picking up rentals. Dropped car off the evening before it was due back in, after hours. Received notification on official receipt first thing when they opened the next day. Thank you for the good service.

My insurance rented a vehicle for me due to my car being in the shop. I was advised that I cld not get a larger vehicle unless I paid an additional fee a day, I told the guy.. okay I will bring this car back tomorrow and if I need additional days I would pay the extra. But... Why was I placed in a car that smelled like smoke and had a growing spiderweb inside the passenger side of the vehicle. I spoke with another rep who then went inside and another rep came back outside and gave me keys to the same vehicle that was dirty, all around the car, It had dirt all over the front end of the car. There was no way this vehicle had been cleaned prior. It smelled like smoke as well and it had dirt prints on the drivers door. To avoid putting me in a bigger car, I was put in a dirty one. I will be reporting the incident and I took pictures to prove it. Horrible customer service and to be a loyal client for a very long time, I couldn’t even explain this kind of treatment..
I placed a reservation on Thursday for Friday pickup at 9:00 am to be returned at 5:00 pm the same day. I made the reservation online and was emailed a confirmation at 4:52 pm on Thursday. Friday morning, at approximately 8 am I receive a voicemail message casually stating that yeah, we dont have the vehicle you wanted. When I call back to ask why I was provided a confirmation email the night before, he told me that I placed the order after 5 and had he seen it before 5 then he could have alerted me. Now, that is beyond ridiculous. Not only did I make the reservation before and receive the confirmation prior to 5pm on Thursday, why would you allow someone to reserve and then CONFIRM that reservation if it means nothing? Should you research the word Confirmation? Regardless, he then said he could offer me another vehicle, sure..which one? A minivan? Yes, I will take it! He comes back on the line to tell me that someone else just took the minivan and he has nothing to offer me. Oh, and the minivan would have been an additional charge. He was not willing to lower the fee due to their failure to plan accordingly and have the vehicle or ANY vehicle available for me. His final solution was to put me on a list and he MIGHT have something come in. I MIGHT be able to come pick something up by 3pm. My appointment was for noon, and I was returning the vehicle at 5...so that didnt really make any sense. He never apologized, had a lackadaisical attitude throughout our entire interaction and clearly had no concern for my situation and his lack of service. I have always used Enterprise in the past for my car rentals. I wont be doing so in the future. Thankfully, Avis not only had a vehicle available on short notice, but they were amazingly professional and courteous and helpful. I will gladly pay a few dollars more for stellar service. Cordell, in the future, it might behoove you to pretend to care about a customers inconvenience when you are the one to have caused it. Again, thanks to AVIS for demonstrating how to retain customers.

The people at Enterprise were very friendly 6 Stars!! However once on the highway the rental car vibrated noticeably at speeds at 70 MPH. Windshield wipers needed to be replaced. Overall I would recommend and use Enterprise again

The service at Enterprise was great. Didnt have to wait long to pickup mu reserved car. Drop off was very easy. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Ill use them again. The car was clean and a full tank of gas was ready when we arrived to pick it up.

This enterprise location is ran extremely well. We had a mechanical issue with our rental while we were on vacation. The locations local to our vacation spot did nothing to help us. They gave us the run around and told us they would call back, Of the 5 locations one actually called back. We called the location we rented from, Grandview, Mo. We explained to situation to Kyle the branch manager and he had us a car from one of the other locations within an hour and called us back to let us know he secured us a car. Thank you for the great customer service!

Attempted to rent a car here in grandview missouri for a trip to oklahoma where im from, and got turned down because i had a out of state drivers license and out of state debit card. i also had my military id which i tried to give them but still was turned away. this policy doesnt make sense, what if i flew here from out of state? would i be turned down then for having out of state information? no of course not that wouldnt make any sense. this policy needs to be changed.
Why would the person paying for the car have to use their personal insurance even if they werent the driver and not even going on the trip- super dumb policy!! 2 stars because they had the vehicle I needed. Turned the vehicle in today & the attendant asked me if I was completely satisfied with their customer service to which I said, No, answering honestly.
I was able to get the vehicle that I wanted in less than 15mins. Great customer service. I will be back to rent again.

Easy and clean. The staff handled all business in Avery professional and strait forward manner I have zero complaints. Although I am extremely satisifies with my experience in Grandview I did not have the same with the truck rental branch in Olathe. I originally wanted a truck to pull a small trailer but was informed by the staff that they handled commercial clients before any others and I was informed I could be put on a waiting list. That turned my ears red!!So if you need to pull a trailer enterprise truck rental is not your ideal outfit to depend on.

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever done business with. Thats why the following week when I needed to rent another vehicle I want to Avis. They are so nonchalant and so inconsiderate about the customers feelings and what their needs are they feel like they can hand you just anything that supposed to be all right. I will never ever use Enterprise again. The cars were substandard smelly dirty and the staff was just not professional.

I had to put my minivan in the repair shop twice in two weeks. I made a reservation for the Grandview location both times the night before. The first time they called me stating that all the reservations for the day were booked then sent me on a wild goose chase to other locations to get a car. BOTH TIMES. I really feel as if the reservation site should state the reservation times that are available for each location, that way no one is wasting gas driving all over town. Thank goodness the Lenexa location does not treat customers like this. They pulled my information from Grandview and got me in a rental and on my way.
Have rented cars here multiple times over the years. They take good care of your needs and are very attentive. Josh the manager followed up with my early return drop off and Tara did a quick and thorough check out when I picked it up. Very pleased with their service and if you are nearby they will even pick you up and drop you off. So very convenient.
Horrible customer service! They are shady, they will quote you one price but when you turn the car in they will get over. Do Not, I repeat Do Not rent a car here!!!!! Warning rent a car somewhere else. We all work hard for our money, I’m trying to prevent anyone else from getting screw over
The vehicle I rented was in great shape. The check in/check out process was very easy and efficient. They did not pressure me to add a bunch of things I didnt need including the most expensive coverage. Great experience.
These guys are stellar to work with. Prompt, courteous, reasonable, great sense of humor, very professional. I dont have a credit card, and renting with a debit card is a bit more of a headache, due to corporate company policies. This local branch makes it as painless and straightforward as possible. The employees are all friendly, reasonable, and very helpful. They actually care and want to make your experience as positive as possible. They were great at the old location, and my first experience at the new location on the frontage road has shown theyve only gotten even better. The new digs look great, too! And parking is a lot easier than at the old place on Main Street, which they really had outgrown. Thanks, guys! Since I dont own a car, it means a lot to have such a stellar rental place close to home when I need one. Five stars, would rent from again. :)
My car was stolen and i had a reservation for a vehicle to pick up. Along with my debit card my license was in my car so I only had a photo copy front and back of my license that was up to date and with me I brought birth certificate and social. I don’t have unlimited ride services from friends and family to get to and from while also being a full time mom and the COVID19 happening. The woman that serviced me ask for my ID I explain the situation give her all my documents and asked if she could ask A Manager he came back with the responsive note from the manager they cannot except these forms of ID and I cannot get my rental then I’m happy with the service because she told me to go to the DMV and get a new license obviously I would love to do that but I have no car And limited times with everything I have to get done. This really doesn’t help me to try and wait’ 3 hours at the dmv and I finally left I can’t even get my license reprinted to get a rental!!

My car smelled so super strongly of cigarette smoke When I rented it that I had to buy my own air fresheners for it. It didn’t even help! I told someone and they didn’t do anything about it.
Hmmmmm!!!! If you dont have a credit card, then you must jump through 50 hoops to rent from them. Not a pleasant experience. Credit card or not I wont revisit that location.
Ive usually had great experiences and have preferably used Enterprise for my car rental needs for years and would grade them as an A. We even purchased a car from their Sales Dept. However, recently I reserved a car online and received a confirmation. When I arrived I was told that they could not accommodate me and there were no available cars until maybe 5 p.m. My reservation was for 8 a.m. Needless to say I was very upset and I felt that something should have been done to honor their commitment. Very poor customer relations. Grade D.
Nice car minus a few scratches. Nice customer service. I used my auto insurance to pay because of a auto accident and I still got billed im not sure why because I had gas and no damages to the car.
We needed to rent a minivan on short notice to attend a family funeral. Jack, the manager was terrific! All the staff were very pleasant and professional. We originally called and got a mid-size car. Before we picked it up, we found other family members needed to travel with us. They got us set up with a new Dodge van, asap. It was totally clean, inside and out. They explained our options if we would not be back before close the next day..They were extremely helpful in working with us to make sure we were satisfied. All the staff were just as helpful when we returned it 2 days later.We would definitely rent from them again!
Arrived and didnt have the premium car that I reserved and I ended up with a Ford Escape. I paid for the Sirius XM radio but that wasnt activated so I ended spending 30 min getting the right people to activate it. Overall just average service Id say with a decent price.

My only complaint was that it was not explained to me prior to pick up the van that I needed to pay the full rental fee PLUS the $150 deposit. I had understood I put down the deposit then pay the balance when I returned the van. This needs to be fully explained to customers the amount of money they need to fill over up front.

We use this Enterprise fairly often and always have very professional and courteous staff assisting us, the only complaint I have is that every car that we have ever rented from this site has been very dirty inside and out. We have gotten to the point where we just go straight to the car wash and spend our own time, money and energy cleaning the vehicle. This should not ever be the case but I guess we are willing to sacrifice for the convenience and helpful courteous staff.
I will choose another location next time or different Provider . When I arrive they did not have the SUV that was booked for months, had to go to another location to pickup the vehicle up not happy at all!!!
Scheduled pick up for 3pm, arrived and told there was no vehicle. Didnt get car until 430. Returned it and was blamed for a small dent and charged over 400 dollars. Horrible customer service would not recommend
OMG!!! Horrible customer service, I mean staff rude, don’t care about customers, just very unprofessional and have zero knowledge of anything, Grandview, Raytown, Lee’s summit, they are all just a mess, makes no sense at all, manager was on a fake website and tried to quote me a price of 89.00 a day 500.00 a week for an intermediate suv, not even a luxury, so I booked on the official enterprise website and it showed 33.00 a day, he said they prices go up and down, I know what the prices are and his was made up, and inaccurate, rude, nasty, no customer service whatsoever

Mt vehicle was involved in an accident. Our insurance provided us a rental car, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car was conveniently located a few miles from our house. The staff were great, at time of pick up and drop off.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and just extremely nice. If I need a rental another time or have someone who needs one, I would definitely use them. Great experience.
I have 2 cars that I will not drive more than a 100 miles from home (AAA will come and get me :) I rent A LOT of cars from Enterprise in Grandview, MO. Every time we go there, we are treated so professional and they go out of their way to make sure we have a great experience. I had to wait a few minutes to get the car cleaned and watched an interaction with an impatient, unreasonable customer and one of the gentleman behind the counter. The Enterprise agent was very nice and took care of the situation with class and the customer actually almost apologized. I have been going to this location for years, NEVER a problem. Highly recommend.

Never thrilled when have to deal with this company. Had issues with staff members at 2 different locations refusing to allow 21 year-old to get an insurance-related rental without paystubs and additional deposits and fees, even though corporate office said they were incorrect. 3rd location finally straightened it out and got the rental. Had three vehicles over the course of a month and only on one vehicle was paperwork fully filled out and given to driver. A couple employees were great, but majority acted like they knew everything there was to know and were quite rude.

Great service everytime Ive rented a car from this location! I live about 20-25 mins away from this location and bypass many other Enterprise locations to deal with only this one! Each time Ive came its been an easy and quick transaction. The staff is courteous and prompt! Would definitely recommend this location!
