I waited 2 months after my estimate to have the work completed. I was given a date to have it done. I asked if they could come 2 days after the date they gave me so I could be home. They said they would make that work for me. I sat at home on my only day off and waited. When I finally called them to see what time they were coming they said they didn’t think they would make it today but they would call me back! Never heard from them. I would not recommend this company. I understand everywhere is short on help and I would have accepted this as a reason if they have even called to tell me that but instead I was ignored.Poor communication! My time is valuable as well!

We had them come out and prune 4 trees. They were the cheapest quote in town and I can barely tell they were here. Cleanup was immaculate.Straight forward and to the point local company. Would surely recommend and would do business again. Keep up the good work! Great experience.

Great experience with this team. Arborist who visited our home was excellent and enthusiastic. I had quite a few questions about the health, age, and appropriate care for my tree and he showed patience in talking through my concerns. The team came to trim yesterday and their clean up after the tree trimming was perfect. Tree was is a tight spot in our urban landscape but they navigated it with ease. Would highly recommend.

We had two very large, hard to access trees cut down from our back yard area. Our home is situated on the lot in such a way that it is not accessible from the back yard, only from the side yards. WMTS assessed the situation, came out with two cranes! In a matter of hours, both trees were taken care of. The team was professional, took care to protect neighbors sprinkling system and took care of all debris. Painless to us. Exactly what we were looking for.

TL;DR: They removed a tree from a difficult location, work within e-mail (great for people who only have free time after business hours), but left some to be desired in terms of how the site was cleaned up, and methods of contact for unexpected situations.Theyre easy to contact and work with through e-mail. We had an estimate complete almost immediately after our request. The tree was removed from a corner location, overhanging 3 garages, and fence lines.It took longer than expected for the tree to actually come down, about 70 days from the date at which we accepted the quote. I was told Id receive a call about the date - and we almost went with another tree service, but finally we got a concrete date.When they showed up to remove the tree, my neighbors dog was in the way (understandable), but instead of try and give me a call, or come and ring the doorbell, they were planning on leaving. I only found this out after I noticed they were there and walked out to ask if they needed anything.The tree was removed quickly, and they were gone before I got a chance to talk with them again. They did a pretty good number on the front yard, far away and off to the side from the tree. I was expecting the yard in front of the tree to get torn up, not the yard directly in front of the house. Debris was left behind, both on my and my neighbors yards, and they cracked the concrete of my neighbors driveway with their truck (I believe theyve now reached out to the neighbor about his driveway).

The staff at West Michigan Tree Service--from Haley in the office, to Chris, who came out to give me the quote, to the team who came and did the job--provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. The cost of the job was very reasonable, and they did just what I needed to have done. Five stars all the way!

West Michigan Tree Services got our job done fast and well. The crew did a great job of bringing down the trees and cleaning up. This is the second time weve hired then for a large amount of trees to be cut down, and weve been very happy with them both times.

Great arborist, did an amazing job reshaping an ornamental tree and trimming deadwood in large trees. Cleaned up after their work. We are disappointed that although they offered a follow-up back in April. We are still waiting, despite multiple calls. Four months seems an unreasonable time to wait for a small job.

Will never use a business that is unAmerican like they are.

Was able to get Nick to look at our storm damage and they came that week to start the clean up. Everyone was nice and professional. Had no issues.

I called company . Nick, the arborist came and suggest me the plum tree with dead branches needs be gone and I need hire a landscape but not them. He walked around my yards, offered free consulting for the other tree caring ideas . They are professionals and trustworthy !

Best prices in town! I called everyone and had a few bids. Without having to mention other bids to anyone they undercut the other guys by half the price. They did phenomenal work with excellent customer service. I’ll be using them for any and all tree services in the future.

Great job! Had a large oak tree trimmed of branches overhanging the house roof and chimney. The guys were pleasant and had the job done in no time. And they left my yard spotless with a neatly stacked pile of logs to use later. Couldnt ask for more. Thanks so much!

Awful service. They showed up randomly almost 2 months after I originally contacted them (without a phone call or any other attempt to schedule the work). While I was at work they trimmed my tree, seriously damaged my fence, put a hole in my neighbors garage roof, and tore up their front lawn. Because they hadnt contacted me to let me know they were coming, this mess was the only indication that someone had been on my property. Worse, they didnt contact me afterwards to let me know that they had caused any damage. I was left wondering who had broken into my yard and torn the place up. It was only when I got a bill from them in the mail (for the full amount - no mention of any damage) that I realized what had happened. Who knows what other damage they might have done to my roof that Im yet to find.A terrible experience.

My neighbor and I split the cost to have a large maple tree that was rotten in the middle and needed to come down before it fell on his house or mine. They arrived on time and dropped the tree and hauled it away in 33 minutes!!! Another team ground up the stump two days later. Very professional.
