Good Earth Tree care trimmed 2 large trees by hand for less than 1/2 the cost of another company that wanted to hack my 100 year old trees. They showed care and concern for my trees, yard, and did an excellent job. My back yard is so much brighter! They provided a quote with photos within hours of coming out, and executed the job exactly as described. 10/10 would recommend!

Im incredibly happy with the work Good Earth did on my two maple trees. From every step of the process. When he came to give an estimate, Brett walked me through what he thought would be best for my trees in order to preserve their health for years to come. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Rick and the crew did a great job when it came time to trim the trees and did a great job cleaning up.

Just had a HUGE tree cut down today! I am so happy with the outcome. I got a lot of quotes done and they are by far the most fair with pricing, theyre professional, clean, and quick! It only took a couple hours! And the tree was twice the size of my house and had power/cable lines running through it. It was hanging over both my house and my neighbors house. ALSO - they communicated with my neighbors for me about it! Highly recommend and will definitely use them for any future jobs. ALSO! Almost forgot! I had Brett check all my trees. He is extremely knowledgeable and isnt just trying to make money and take trees that arent necessary to come down. Good dude.

I can see why they have such great reviews! After getting 10 quotes from around town, we settled on Good Earth to remove 2 trees for us (one of those trees being extremely large with a lot of obstacles). They had the best quote out of all the places and their communication was the best. Scheduling was about 40-45 days out from when we signed the contract which was the only downside, but I highly recommend waiting because they do a fantastic job! They arrived on time, were professional, and cleaned up everything!

Matt & Ryan were very pleasant and amiable. Soon after they arrived we walked our property and reviewed the work to be done. I returned inside as I was working from home for the afternoon. When I heard no sound of power saws or equipment, I checked to see if work was being done. It was - they were using hand saws and being quite meticulous in their pruning. I had 5 trees pruned and they did a beautiful job - their work was quite artistic. I am not easily pleased, but I am VERY satisfied with the work that was done. They did a great job. The trees look beautiful. And the pricing very reasonable and fair. I chose Good Earth because of my meeting with Brett (the company owner) - who is a certified arborist (I had spoken to another and had a meeting scheduled with a second arborist, but after talking with Brett cancelled that meeting) - due to his knowledge and natural, organic approach. I will use them again and recommend them to others.

Exceptional from start to finish. The arborist was extremely knowledgeable and gave good recommendations on tree care--you can really tell the company cares about the trees they work with. We had a tree removed and and another pruned. When I came home from work, I could hardly tell they were there except that the tree was gone, and the maple was pruned with such careful detail that it appears the tree naturally grew into the new dimensions. Good communication from start to finish, and the price was very competitive. Highly recommend this company.

Got a couple $4500+ quotes to remove several trees that would require a crane. Good Earth did it far cheaper. When they gave me their quote, I signed up immediately, the price was that much better.Had to wait a few months due to scheduling, but when the day came, they were prompt, quick, and Ive gotta say, it was impressive to watch. Very nice people as well!

I’ll start by saying that we didn’t end up using this company because there was another company (hired by our neighbor) that could come out sooner, but I was really impressed by the professionalism and courtesy extended by the owner, Brett. Good Earth Tree Care was one of four Grand Rapids area tree services we contacted and gave an estimate for removing trees from our yard. We had an elm tree that was dying. I was especially impressed with Brett from Good Earth when he came out because unlike two of the others, he was more interested in the overall health of the trees and the condition of them in our yard. One of the others was also very deliberate about the trees. We had planned to have the Elm and three cherry trees that had likely self-planted before we owned the house removed. But Brett thought one of the cherries did not need to be removed and posed no problems for the other trees around it--again, he was not just interested in the most profitable solution. We ultimately selected Good Earth because of how Brett was with his approach and because his price was simply considerably better.Good Earth came and removed the trees. They adapted their approach to be the least disruptive to our yard, requiring no removal of our fence to gain access with equipment. It meant more work for them, but that was simply how they do things. The removal went smoothly. They consulted with me and were happy to address my questions and wishes, such as retaining some of the wood and wood chips for my own use. The cut things to make them useful to me rather than fast and efficient for them.I would use them again, I recommend them to anyone else in the area looking for good tree service.

It was raining the day we were scheduled to have our tree cut down, so we thought they might not come. They did!!! They also did a wonderful job. Unfortunately most of the work had to be done from our neighbors yard, but they cleaned everything up so well that there were no complaints. Actually they were interesting to watch. Job well done.

Brett at Good Earth went above and beyond for us. He even came back after our trees were trimmed to see if we were satisfied. His crew was professional, timely, and thoughtful. Also he will make suggestions that a true arborist and tree lover would make. In keeping with saving trees he can and giving you lots of education. Have told oodles of my neighbors about him.

Great service, friendly people. Helped us clean up some giant pines that were damaged by the ice storm this winter. And gave me some advise on where to plant additional trees while they were here. We will hire them again when we need any further tree care and already recommended them to others.

Extremely happy with the work that Good Earth did at our house. They cleared out a bunch of dead/dying trees for us, helped brace two large trees in the backyard and took down two 60ft tall spruces that were both within 2ft of our house. Brett was very helpful and quick to answer all my questions. I plan on using them again in the future if we need any more tree work and I would highly recommend them to anyone else.
