I went to the Women’s Resource Center quite some time ago. They helped me get a job at the (only) phone company! I was going through a divorce and pretty “down”; they were my “cheerleaders”! I retired from that fantastic job 23 years later! Now I encourage young women to give them a try!

They are so helpful. The classes and workshops are wonderful. Helped alot. They have a clothing closet to help get a professional outfit for interviews.

I have used their services while unemployed in the past. You can meet with an advisor to guide you through the job search process. They have their own help wanted resources, they offer training programs, mostly related to the use of computers, word, etc as well as job interview skills and writing a resume. They even have appropriate clothing available for job interviews. Most if not all of these services are free.

Excellent place for women in need of help in entering/re-entering the workforce. That includes help with resume writing, teaching of successful interview techniques (with no cost, available, dress-for-success clothing at their onsite, Clothing Closet) and improving computer literacy. Be all you (women) can be (and, most likely, already are). I am a man and this place will get you back on your feet and contributing to our West Michigan workforce. You can do it. Relax. Retrain. Regroup. GR Womens Resource Center will be in your corner every step of the way.

My sister was in bec she was having a lot of pain issues bec she is 8 month pregnant and the doctors and nurses did everything to make her feel comfortable and help her with her pain..This place is amazing..

Can b a wonderful source for women. Will help with many problems 4 a woman returning 2 the workforce.
