I lost my insurance . And needed my meds right away . They got me a psychiatrist and the proper meds. And helped me get medicaid. . I had already been pretty much diagnosed .and been in treatment and knew I needed help. So they help me. I could have gone elsewhere but liked the service there. I think its a good place to go . But with all mental health places .you need to want to get help and admit you are part to blame of what is going on and take your meds and have to be somewhat flexible with your time. I mean its a mental health facility emergencies do happen sometimes. I know it hey have been good to me so far.But I have a mental illness due to a chemical imbalance and abuse and truly want to improve myself .But I dont expect miracles. So I guess its up to the person. I recommend it. Its a start

I got sent here via the suicide hotline for the area. When i sat down to speak to the psychologist, it was the middle of lock down so all meetings were virtual at the time which was fine, he was incredibly rude to me and didnt give me the opportunity to explain my thoughts or feelings properly. He seemed very interested in shoving pills down my throat and getting me off the lone with him. He kept demanding i explain why i as suicidal and then blatantly told me my reasons were weak. Suffice to say, i am not currently in any counseling services or on any medication, due to the way this group handles its patients care.If you are in dire straights do not allow them to place you woth this psychiatrist, i was given 100mg of an ssri(way too much) and an anti psychotic. The side effects made me more suicidal.

I tried Network 180 in Kent County MI.1st, they make you re-live your story over& over& over again, when they make YOU jump through at least 4 calls just to get an appointment.2nd, they dont treat adults with ADHD!!! Last time I checked ADHD was a mental health issue!3rd, you have to prove to them, over the phone, that youre Depressed!!Long story short, youre better off killing yourself!

I cant believe these people are in the business of helping kids. Dr. Stoyanov was the least caring most brusk doctor Ive seen. She single handedly lowered my childs self- esteem with bruskness and sarcasm.

Not helpful. No one is on the same page. Not 180, not police, not hospital. What a waste of effort.

This place has denied me help twice within a month period. My suicide is on them.

Val has got to have the worst customer service experience I have ever witnessed. She is so short and cold with her answers, she is not a very friendly employee, Id be daring enough to suggest she is hostile with her attitude. I do not have an issue being declined a service in a professional manner, but when the whole conversation from Hello is unpleasant I become uncomfortable.

So called this place needing some help, told me everything would be fine and now I get told because my address if for a different city.... so you guys help but only for people in Grand Rapids?! What a joke! I am deeply upset over this! I cant believe this! You guys are a joke.

Do not waste your time here. I was referred here by pine rest (due to lack of insurance) after my therapist recommended I get evaluated. I arrived around 9:15. They got me in fairly quickly & had me talk to someone who claimed she was a counselor but was more like a glorified receptionist. As shes tried to get information out of me, each issue I brought up she got more and more excited? Like all she saw were dollar signs. After talking to her for about a half hour she sat me in a room ALONE for over 45 minutes to wait for the psychiatrist, but no one came for me. Around 10:45 I gave up & walked out. They didnt realize I had left until a HALF HOUR LATER later, saying they were so sorry they had “JUST MISSED ME”. I would have been left in a room, with suicidal thoughts for almost a hour and a half, which is unacceptable. All in all it was a very discouraging situation. I felt like the only way I was going to get treatment is if I had walked in there with slit wrists (which I DO NOT recommend doing). If you are suicidal and you have no other options I would recommend going to a ER or urgent care before going here. Thankfully I was able to get into my primary doctor the next day and received the care and treatment I deserved.

My friend was in desperate need of help and was told she wasnt urgent enough even though she was actively suicidal and self-harming. The women who worked her case was not educated or qualified, after my friend begged her for help, she told her to call her friends and refused to get her admitted to a hospital.

I was treated very well and they got me the help I need. They got me into detox and got me into a recovery house and are paying the first 2 months rent. They are great people

There is someone available at all hours of the day. If you dont have insurance or have Medicaid this is the best place to go to get your mental healthcare. They can find an outpatient therapist for you, do medication reviews, and find an inpatient program (without having to go to the ER!). Everyone Ive encountered has been helpful.

Strange to see all the four and five star reviews coming from local guides reviewers (head scratcher?). Maybe you get better healthcare if your a local guide reviewer.

On Dec 1, 2016 my daughter had an assessment where she stated she wanted to hurt herself, either cut her throat or hang herself. Network 180 DENIED her inpatient care. Less than 48 hrs later my daughter hung herself. These therapists really need to start listening to parents and not the patient as they are not always truthful. I told this therapist the truth and she still didnt listen.

Absolutely terrible. “Doctor” who’s name I don’t remember (male, older, Indian ancestory) Was completely unhelpful basically told my wife to be quiet when she tried to fill in the gaps in my bad memory. He was lazy and borderline abusive. I’ve waited months for fear of retribution.This guy should not be working with any patients let alone those in a fragile mental state. He seems like someone that hates his job and wants to make sure everyone suffers with him. Terrible. Go somewhere else.

This place is an utter farce. Its located in busy area so if you show up 5 to 10 minutes before the class starts good luck actually being able to take it. I drove 45 minutes to get there and got stuck in traffic, showed up 10 minutes prior to the class actually starting and they turned me away despite the fact that I signed up for the class months prior, giving my spot to walk-ins. No where in the multiple emails they sent me prior to the class did they say to get there a half an hour early and then the employee who was there was incredibly rude and told me to talk to my employer, my employer didnt pay for my mileage to drive all the way out here! When I asked more questions, like what time to show up in the future or if there would be another class in the near future I could take, he said he was done with me and to leave.

I brought my child here 3 years ago in an attempt to get him help. I had his counselor with me and all I was given a referral to counseling which he’s been in literally his whole life and I HAD HIS CURRENT COUNSELOR THERE to help get my child the additional help he needed. We had paperwork from a neuropsych evalution stating talk therapy doesn’t work for my child and they would do nothing . I ended up saying “ what the hell do I have to do to get him the help he needs, leave him in a grocery store “ .Clearly I was there trying to get help and was talking out of frustration because they were not listening to me, my son, or his counselor and network 180 called Cps on me .The case was closed and the worker said she knew that I was there to get help and talking out of frustration. She knew but “ trained professionals “ didn’t?!?! Case was closed . Fast forward 3 years . I have no choice but to bring him back because I still haven’t gotten any of the right help for him and I go in tell them everything going on and why I he needs additional help and what do you know another call to Cps because of his behaviors . What do you think I’m doing here . Obviously trying to get help for these behaviors. I just want my kid to be happy and healthy and stable and they help with none of that but are quick to call Cps because I’m trying to get help for the behaviors he’s exhibiting. I hate this place . Absolutely worthless and my child is still suffering.

Bottom line: I was not comfortable with the way staff treated me during my crisis. Even though I had been sent there for suicidal behavior and evaluations are free nearly everywhere, they denied me service and failed to give me any other resources. They were aware I had tubing and duct tape in my car ready for a carbon monoxide poisoning attempt and they told me to leave--in my car.In depth version: My therapist instructed me to go to Network 180 for suicidal behavior. About 5 minutes passed checking in with the security guard at the front desk, I was called in by a social worker. The entire purpose I was there was so I could get an evaluation to determine if it was safe for me to be alone. The women I spoke to was Amanda (if I recall correctly). She was very blunt and not reassuring at all; this only scared me more. After being told I was unable to receive services because I was a stone throw outside of Kent county, she also crumpled up the Holland, MI locations address she was writing down for me when she found out I had private insurance. She just said something along the lines of, You can just go to a Pine Rest or a Forest View type place. If you think you need a higher level of service you should probably go to the emergency room. I was then lead back to my confiscated items (a backpack with headphones, an inhaler, and my bany blanket) and told I could leave. They gave no help whatsoever and actively turned away a suicidal person. At the very least they should apologise for their inability to help and call an ambulance when an actively suicidal person outside Kent county residence walks in for what may be their last attempt at getting help.

Came here 2 days in a row to try and get help for someone who was suicidal and skitzophrenic. The man at the counter would not give us at info. He just sat shaking his head. He was ride and didnt care. I dont know his name but he was a heavy set African American. We were there on Tuesday July 10th. I felt hopeless. I would never even take my dog there. Very disappointing. He didnt care about anyone. All he cares about is sitting I his chair and talking to his co workers. So sad

Came in feeling suicidal and they did nothing. I was a danger to myself but they did nothing. All they were going to give me is a pamphlet and suggest I see their psychiatrist.

Unprofessional and unqualified staff. The negligence of the social workers at Network180 is border-line criminal. Avoid this mediocre care. You deserve better.

Went for a meeting today with my son had an appointment for 9am. Arrived early was sent to the wrong floor where the person sitting behind the desk was on the phone. She just stared at us then turned her back on us and kept talking. A gentleman came off the elevator asked us if we needed help and explained where we needed to go. The lady we had an appointment with was a half hour late and was rude as well.

Called in to get help with my depression. The staff were not helpful and rude. They tried to tell me they would give me 10 mins but thats all they had and were gonna give me, because I called in weeks prior and was tranfered to their center. We dont get to select which crisis line we get when you call Suicide Prevention.

I called for help and every person Ive talked to has been rude and tries to pass me off to any other facility. I need help and they were my last resort. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Due to mental health issues, I was sent here and the person I saw was a Dr. Mazhar Munir. he is a arrogant ass. He always had a new pill, or should I say, pills, for me every single time. I have NO idea what works as I was never on the same one for any period of time. He does NOT listen to you. He insists you feel the way he says. He does NOT care about your issues, only about getting you out of his office as soon as possible. Because of his lack of any feelings and lack of professional integrity, I was in withdrawal for almost 4 weeks. My kids and grandson had to see me in that state and as much as I tried to hid it, they were so destroyed that they could do nothing to help me. He put me and my family through hell. His comment was you should have went to the ER. When I told him he was unprofessional and an ass, he only grunted and then told me Im not going to argue with you. That was the last time I saw him. Needless to say Mental Health care in GR is almost non existent. I now see Dr. McClean at Network 180. She is 1,000,000 + better. If you have a loved one or you need help STAY AWAY FROM DR. MINER.

Terrible experience . I am forced to take medication otherwise I will be sent back to rehab . Also, me and the psychiatrist got into an argument, and he threatened to call the cops on me to take me away to rehab, like some kind of animal .

I have had a few different experiences with the cohnclers and also Dr.Munir.The nurse actually warns you on his bed side manners before she took me in there to see him and She under stated how he was,Omg I was in tears when I left.Its bad enough I have Anxiety,Bi-polar,Schizophrenia, and Depression and then to have to deal with that. So the second time I went my fiance took the afternoon off so he could be with me to see if he would yell at me again,Well he started but my fiance stopped him and chewed his as out saying that his liscence should be revoked and just had me about in tears I was lol so hard.I felt better he had a ass chewing coming!! Unfortunately I am on my way back up there to get evaluated again to be put back.in the hospital. I am praying my day isnt worse then it already is going!.

Social workers take hours to come, staff is unqualified. Overall very poor service.

Still waiting on a response, after they told me my mom had to check herself in, and I explained that she is in no state of mind to make her own decisions, and is going through meth withdrawals and is delusional, and having hallucinations. I was transferred to a social worker line where I just got a voicemail. Its to the point where she has lost everything, and this is her only chance. How do I get actual help??
