Very warm and friendly staff on phone and in person. Sat in on a class and was totally engaged by instructor and students. Will be observing another class and cant wait! Just think, this facility was just blocks away from me for the past 25 years but I would look and wonder instead of venturing to find out...DONT SPEND YOUR LIFE MISSING OUT!!! God Bless!!!😊

Very Good! My childs balance, foot coordination, and flexibility improved tremendously. I think the most important thing my child gained was Confidence. I highly recommend Chans Kung Fu!

Great place! Been here almost 5 years. Started in the kids class, now in the adult class. The people are great and the instructors are easy to understand. Great atmosphere. The workouts are excellent for anybody, and they include strength, flexibility, agility, breathing, cardio, etc. etc.. Recommend for all ages.

Very Clean environment, great instructors, and the tea room is a very cozy place to be in while waiting for family members. There is no other martial arts program that can compete with Chans!

I began learning Wing Chun in the 10th grade and it helped me tremendously with my self discipline and focus which gave me problems throughout my years in school. Everyone is very friendly and there is a familiar community of dedicated students, and they teach you Cantonese. They are structured so everyone gets attention from multiple masters and gets to practice with multiple people after learning movements and techniques to ensure comfort and flexibility. They have the advanced level learners and beginners separate so you always train with people who are around your level(in Wing Chun at least). They also have online courses for several types of Kung Fu. If you are in the Grand Rapids area searching for a Kung Fu school I could not recommend Sifu Chans school enough. Ive been out of high school a few years now and moved to Florida and I still practice.

Very satisfied with the results my 8 year old granddaughter has achieved, Very friendly family atmosphere with knowledgeable sifu Chan, as are the instructors,. She really feels she is part of a family in unity and has a common goal of being the best she can be.

This truly is one of the best schools around West Michigan. It provides a positive atmosphere that tends to focus on many valuable life lessons. My son has not only gained self-confidence but he has also showed a tremendous improvement in his level of respect. I highly recommend this school, you will have no regrets!

My parents surprised me with a lion dance at my wedding. Chans Kung Fu School did an amazing job and it was the best surprise! They stuck around for us to take pictures afterwards. The guests really enjoyed the experience of seeing a traditional lion dance. It was definitely a memorable part of our day. I cannot thank Sam, David, and Chans Kung Fu school enough.

I studied Jow Ga, and Tai Chi here. This is the best place in the country to learn, Sifu Chan is the best teacher around. All of the other teachers are great as well.

The atmosphere was nice and everyone was helpful at the school. Its a great place to learn of the Chinese culture and their martial arts teaching was professional and compassionate. One of the few Kung Fu schools in West Michigan.Highly recommend it for anyone seeking a traditional martial arts or are looking for general fitness.

I live in Kalamazoo. At first I signed up for Wing Chun for 1 day a week. Then I went through 1 class and decided I wanted to do the next class...then the next...signed up for 3 months...within 2 months I signed up for a year. The workout is intensely amazing. Weight is falling off rapidly. Sifu and all of the instructors are incredible. Even though I have to drive 40 min each way, its well worth the drive. Happy to do it for the support and instruction I receive each class. Just awesome.
