She was a wealth of knowledge on the subject, gave me pointers on things I could do to prevent the mold from coming back, as well as gave me several referrals for other contractors that I could use for other projects. We called Lisa because we had had mold in our house and it made us sick. I wanted to learn about things we could do to make our house a healthy home. Best money weve ever spent. She identified an old home phone that was next to my husbands night stand in the bedroom that was giving off high levels of EMFs. We replaced the phone and started turning off our router at night while we sleep. Also, he does not fall asleep holding his cell phone anymore. Very quickly he noticed that he can sleep through the night now without waking up. He used to wake up several times a night and we just thought that was who he was. We had no idea our environment was contributing to his sleep problems. We learned so much from Lisa and will never build a new home or buy a home without calling her first!

I am thrilled to have a building biologist I can trust in West Michigan! Lisa Tiedt was very professional and helped my husband and I understand potential environmental hazards that were lurking in our home.With 3 children and one with an autoimmune disease, we want to make our home a safe place for us and our kids. She came in with all of her high tech equipment and allowed us to participate in the assessment process, explaining all of the hows and why’s and the research behind specific areas of concern pertaining to health effects. This was a dynamic assessment where she identified a hazard and immediately searched for the source and then tested ways to remediate it.Without this assessment I would not have known that my child was being exposed to high levels of hazardous EMFs while in her bed or that our master bedroom was emitting very toxic levels of dirty electricity.Lisa showed us how to eliminate this hazard and wrote a nice report on steps we should to take to make our home a safe and healthy place to live.
