Over the years Lynn has replaced all the windows and doors in this house . Couldnt be happier . Wife loves her new doors and front room windows .

The First Exterior team are true experts in their field. I cant say enough nice things about their professionalism, window installation and just all around customer service. They take pride in their work and want you to be happy with your new replacement windows. They installed 18 vinyl windows for me and did a wonderfully detailed job. My fathers house in Grapevine was in bad need of painting. Considering his age and the age of the house, I didnt want him to ever worry about needing to paint his house again. This company was amazing, start to finish. I have to agree with everything the other review already said. Ben and Peter did an excellent job. I am very VERY picky and I couldnt have been more pleased. If you are looking for a quality product, professional who are honest and hardworking- these are you guys. Replacing windows was not in our plans, but we realized shortly after buying our house that it really wasnt an option- out with the old and in with the new. I would have never dreaded spending the money at first had I realized how much better our house would look and feel and how easy the process was once we went with First Exterior Designs. I too, was also worried about the mess, but these guys know what they are doing. They left everything spotless. They truly care about each window going in and the customers. Its so refreshing! My kids enjoyed watching the process and they even would answer their questions. They worked hard all day and I have no doubt they would be very helpful IF a problem ever arose with any of the windows. This is a great company and we are really pleased with the Don Young windows.

We have been re-habbing our home for a while now and this window replacement project was our last major project. My first job was to make a determination as to the product I wanted on my home. After sitting thru several presentations from various vendors all trying to sell me vinyl replacement windows, I finally found the product that I wanted, Don Young thermally broken aluminum replacement windows. I interviewed several vendors until I found First Exterior Designs, a firm that was recommended by the Don Young company as being one of their top installers. The owner, Lynn Nichols, came to my house for the initial estimate and discussion as to their installation process. Their installation process was just what I was looking for in that they use non-expanding foam to fill in around new windows in an attempt to create an airtight enclosure. The cost estimate was the not the cheapest I received but also was not the most expensive either. Lynn convinced me that his installation team was the best and cleanest he had ever seen. Since my wife was so concerned about the dust and mess that might accompany tearing out 20 year old aluminum windows, Lynn offered us a discount if this job was not the cleanest of any of our re-hab projects. Now, I can tell you that I made the right decision in awarding this project to First Exterior Designs.The installation team, Ben and his helper John, showed up right on time on a tuesday and were finished intalling all 31 windows by thursday of that week in 100 degree temperatures. The job was so clean that at the end of each work day, we never even knew they had been here. They put plastic over everything and only replaced one window at a time. They absolutely knew what they were doing. I do believe each and every window was properly installed by this team. The windows look great and I am glad that I picked not only the Don Young thermally broken aluminum windows but First Exterior Designs to install them. I can tell you that you will not be disappointed with this company.
