Very poor service. Metrocare was recommended to me for my 10 year old by his primary care doctor m, after we relocated back to TX and needed his medication filled asap..I’m always having prescription issues with this place.I recently took my son in on 7/16. Two scripts were to be call in to the pharmacy but only 1 was. I called and spoke with a nurse on 7/19 and was told that the supervisor had to sign off for the medication to be called in since it was a controlled substance but that someone would car me back. Six days later I have yet to hear from anyone at Metrocare nor has anyone called in the prescription my son needs. He has been taking this medication for 2 years so what is the problem! He now has only 2 pill left. Enough for tomorrow and thats it. I will have to hope that his primary care will be willing to write a script for him because I will not hold out hope that Metrocare will do their job. They have shown that the clients are just a number and real client care and customer service takes a back seat. I will definitely be looking for a new mental health provider asap.
Great facility. All staffs are awesome, especially Dr. Susan. She is a great listener, caring person and very helpful.
Bigger clinic! Very nice and clean. Lots of space and they practice social distancing/covid protocols
Walked into the pharmacy and was out in less than five minutes. Superior customer service here. I love the new clean updated facility!!!!
When I asked for Thearpy they said good luck the list is long
Very impersonal, make sure you take a sack lunch because you will be here all day for 20 min appt. Just a bunch of people hanging out at the front desk laughing.
Nice new offices and friendly staff
They move little further down the street pass by Golden Chicken place on the same side street.
If I could give them zero stars I would they dont listen to your needs whatsoever and they refuse to help adults with their anxiety and add/adhd dont go to them! Youre just another lab rat to them!
Nice new building and friendly staff
I was 5 mins late to my appointment last week and Dr Turner canceled the appointment! Now today she was suppose to do a zoom meeting with my child and she never joined or called! The rep tried to schedule another appointment but why would I keep missing work? These people are rude! Just because we have Medicaid doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be treated unfairly.
I am highly disappointed. I have had 2 visits via phone with this company. I was told that they are not able to prescribe all of my anxiety medications because they dont prescribe these medications. Okay I am willing to try something else. They put me on a medication that I had bad side effects from. I called the office several times only to not get called back. Finally when someone does call back the dr is wanting to put me on something that I have tried previously that did not work. I made them aware of all of the previous medications I have been that did not work. At my appointment today I explained that I am having severe side effects from the medication. I explained that my PCP wants my psychiatrist managing my insomnia medications and was told that they need my PCP managing that. I was told she couldnt do anything about the insomnia medication I am on and I needed to call my PCP. On top of all of these issues I have had I can barely understand the person on the phone. They asked me to tell them my medications and I asked all of them and was told yes. I start telling her all the meds and she stops me and says she only needs what they prescribed me. Shouldnt she have that information in front of her??? I am not impressed at all. I feel like another name on a chart, which is not ok.
The Dr.s do not listen to your concerns, even when its about the MEDICATION having a bad effect on your child!
I recommend this place. We went as walk in, they provided us service the same day and we dont wait to long at all. The staff is super amazing, helpful, understanding, polite and willing to help, providing many options based on your condition. The counselor is amazing, full of knowledge and resources. 💯 stars to this place.
Need to find a better place. Always a mess, cluster. Some of the staff every unfriendly. If you dont have an appointment. Think again. Wait time could be an all day thing. Love Dr. Beth though. She is amazing. My son has been seeing her for 2 almost 3 years now. Shes the only reason we still go.
To many changes but staff especially Nurse Kim its the best.
I had taken my fiancee to get help. She was checked in and accepted as a new patient rather quickly. She was also seen, diagnosed and prescribed within the day. The in-house pharmacy is a big plus as Ive noticed many of the other clients were pedestrians or public transports.
I had a terrible experience with this place. I called on a Friday morning to try and get set up as a new patient. The woman over the phone took my name and necessary info, and told me she would call back by 2pm. She did not. After waiting, I called several times and got no answer. I live very close to this location, so I drove over at about 4:30. The woman at the desk was very rude, and clearly ready to go home. She was very dismissive of all my problems. She informed me that the woman who took all my info was gone for the day, and didn’t leave any instructions or notes. Then, she took the same info I had already given, told me they’d call Monday to set up an appointment, and brushed me off by answering a phonecall. She let it ring the whole time we were talking, missing several calls, and only picked it up when she wanted me to leave. I now know why all of my calls went unanswered. It is now Tuesday evening and they still have not called like they said they would on Monday. I have already booked an appointment with a different psychiatrist office. Just wanted to share this experience, because when people seek mental health help, it’s the lowest, most terrifying point of their lives, and you expect to be treated well and helped by facilities like this. They failed horribly. I’m ashamed to admit that I even shed a few tears in their lobby because of the receptionists terrible treatment and clear lack of concern for my needs. Do you have no empathy for your clients? Or potential clients? Seeking mental health help is hard enough, and these people make it so much harder. Do not go here if you want to be treated like a decent human being.
The doctor didnt listen. The prescriptions were with wrong dates. She discriminated me for my ethnicity.
This place is the absolute WORST when it comes to just answering the phone! And, dont even think their going to call you back when you leave a message. Its unbelievable, that this place is responsible for helping people experiencing a mental health crisis. As Im not a patient, my son is. And, Ive witnessed the countless phone calls hes made and leaving message after message without EVER being called back! Ive seen the frustration and anxiety it causes him. This is someone calling because he needs help! Its a shame.
They don’t friggen answer their phone!
My son has been going here for the past two years and I have nothing but good things to say. His Dr is a good Dr. She listens to everything we have to say. You get in and get out rather quickly. The office staff is awesome. I myself started going here and its way better than the other clinic I have been to. Would recommend try this place out.
I like their service. The front desk lady is very kind and polite as well as the pharmacist and psychiatrist.
Dr Susan Jacobs was ok. She didnt put her last name on the script so that caused the pharmacy to call and talk to them and chase after someone that would give us her last name, finally their pharmacy was able to give us her last name and it turned out she is new. The nurse that was supposed to call in the script after I asked for a change has not done so. I called many times and left multiple messages on her voicemail and still have not gotten the new script nor has she returned any of my calls so I am going somewhere for my needs.
Great and understanding staff
Its expensive but they always have such unique stuff here. Its always a treat to come in here and see what new stuff they have.
I cant get ahold of them i call and call im needing my meds Ive been without for a couple months I can get a ride when I know ill get them that day but I cant make a dry run please someone get back to me
They never i mean never know how to answer a phone but at least they help with your mental health
My son has a great doctor who listens to our needs.
Took my hasband scooter to this place wanted $750.00 to fix it.they said it was the brake,assy,w/power connector and motor, feishen. Thank god they only got $75.00 out of me. I picked it up and took it to ACG Medical Suppy in Bedford great place check the scooter out and cleanedit up and said it could have been batteries not charged. runs good now and I still have $750.00 in my pocket I would not give them any star but had to too post
I sought out Metrocare Services in order to get counseling, and if necessary, medication for my 9-year old daughter. I drove 45 minutes for my intake and to get set up for an evaluation. On 6/29/2015 (at the evaluation appointment) I was advised after receiving a fee for $225 that my daughter is being turned away for counseling services. The reason given was because we reside in Tarrant county, and not Dallas county. This information should have been brought to my attention and communicated prior to the evaluation; there is no point in bringing my daughter there if she cannot receive counseling there. Not only will I not get my valuable time and gas back, Metrocare is refusing to refund the $225. We spent maybe a total of 10 minutes or less with the psychiatrist. I would not have gone out of my way to bring my child to the center if I knew I’d be ripped off and turned away. My intake paperwork clearly states that I live in Grapevine, so I am in need of a refund of the $225 at the very least. I am also asking that Metrocare Services be looked into for this predatory practice.
They just like to run people in out and out like cattle. The doctors show no care, they only care about writing prescriptions and getting paid, and want to spend the least amount of time with you as possible. The doctor does not listen to your concerns, even when meds dont work for you. I stopped going here, and it was the best decision ever. Low prices for healthcare come at a cost!
I have mixed feekings about this place never call back. Ihave left 3 messages thid week and nothing . get better service at walmart pharmacy
Great Drs and staff. They really love us...
Sometimes youll be waiting for awhile, but they try their best to provide for their patients. Theyre doing a lot to provide mental health assistance to those with a lower income.
Metro care of Arlington is the worst place ever there very rude they NEVER!! Answer the phone Never return your calls we can leave more then ten messages and not one is returned the female receptionist does nothing but sit there on the computer doesn’t help to resolve a problem with the client it’s like talking to the wall they make a lot of mistakes and then turn it on you like we weren’t paying attention what they said really this ridiculous something has to be done or there going to continue doing the same thing.
I was is need of a blood pressure cuff. I contacted your company, Lance Lyman was sent out to deliver the blood pressure cuff. His professionalism and instruction of usage of the machine was outstanding. He has in the past delivered supplies and other equipment and has always been very professional and knowable of his duties.
Young lady at the front desk provides a really awful customer service experience... She seems confused & disoriented. For a 1st impression it makes you feel that they are providing substandard care. The waits are crazy long!
Pharmacy great. Nic employees
The doctor I saw had zero interest in anything I was saying. The main doctor is nice but I went once and spent almost all day there. Its unfortunate that this is what people have to deal with to get mental health care with no insurance or Medicaid.
Great for kids not packed super clean n fast
I came as a walk in and was seen in less than a hour. Very helpful nurse practitioner and clean and quiet. Pharmacy in the building, kid friendly.
It tends to get very pack but overall good place
Long wait even with appointment, but Dr Timothy is pretty cool.
I have very good service and Nurse Kim is Ausim..
I appreciate the caring nature of staff.
I just take my daughter there.
They have improved there waiting time. That is GOOD!
The wait time isnt as long as some of the other MetroCares
They helped me with everything I need and made sure I understood.
Extremely long waits. Staff is ok. Neither good nor bad. Nurse practitioners seemed educated and smart
Best metro care. Very clean and helpful staff
They are very disoriented, The receptionist is rude the counselor we were seeing was interested in personal life, which has nothing to do with a consistent treatment plan. The counselor we were suppose to see today was ill they could have called and rescheduled the appointment, it is not about you it is about the bottom line $$$$...
The office is clean and the counselors are great. But the restroom is nasty and it smells so bad. Other then that its a grate place
Nice people my child needs are meet and they do what ever they can to assist me
I wish i could give them zero stars. They are so unprofessional and they move to dog gone slow. The staff are very rude. They bump into you. And then they always act like they are busy but they are not doing anything. And also if you come in as a walk in you have to come early so you can wait between 2 to 4 hours. That is some bull. I did not wait. So my family member that have a mental illness had to leave. They do too much at this MetroCare of Grand Prairie Texas. And my family member says the Doctor tries to out talk her everytime she goes up there. So I was going to go up there with her to address the issue if it happens while I am there. That is so rude. So everyone beaware if that happens to you, address the issues at time that that happens.
There no order the doctor I see is not good at all I tried everything he given me for anxiety dont work
Its ok, cater to Hispanic ppl. Long wait usually over 30min.
Pharmacy staff are Awesome!!!
They take care of you... Once youre in the system. If you have tricare do not go.... they will not bill them correctly. They have free wifi....large tvs. 2 waiting rooms.. On-site counseling and pharmacy. This is one of the nicest metrocare facilities in the metroplex
Its public mental healthcare, so it obviously has its flaws, however I am personally very thankful for it. The Grand Prairie facility is very nice.
Long wait, but physicians are great.
Nice professional staff but sessions are very short
They have helped me and my daughter so much.
This place is awesome!! Love the doctors, very nice.
Good atmosphere and nice people
The staff made me feel supported and reassured.
Frendly .Excellent Doctors.
Its good people taking care of others
Kept appointments on time (within 10 minutes). However, they lost my drivers license.... Im still angry about that.
Staff is very understanding and helpful! Ive never had a long wait here
Doctor asked me to wait in the middle of my appointment so she and a colleague could discuse another patients care in front of me i told them they were rude and unprofessional and they acted like they didnt know what they did wrong so i left and never went back
I dont know what I would do without these awesome people helping my son figure out what was wrong and how to fix it.
Nice and friendly environment.
At the time I didnt like how they handled business, but its gotten better.
I was assaulted here and the staff just stood there and watched. This went on for about five minutes before the cops showed up. Staff did nothing and didnt even seem to care when i was five feet away.
MHMR have aided me and helped me get control my life again
This place helps with multiple things and or issues.
Place prescribes useless medication that makes my situation worse
I love the quick in out time
Nurse on doctors side doesnt do anyyhing
Good service just slow
Maria Gonzalez the receptionist is the rudest person I have ever met. She has bounced around several times even though we were the second people in line
Awesome fast service
The wait is long but they are a Godsend if you are low income and need some help.
Really nice and fast
Very polite people who care
This place has been there for my medications and for mental health issues I have
They dont care about you heard you in and out like cattle
Just smelly and the front desk staff is not very friendly
Helping me get through
