As a plus size person looking to make life changes, Im comfortable in there. I dont dread going there. Staff is sometimes hard to find in the mornings. Other than that, I dont hate it there.

It gets the job done. I wish they held to their policies sometimes when it comes to dress codes, but oh well. Lunk heads barely wearing shirts and half naked college girls is certainly a way to keep people coming. Otherwise staff is very friendly and courteous and its kept clean and in good condition. Weird hours.

New equipment is nice, stays busy at times. People dont follow the rules, cell phones everywhere. Staff is friendly and visible.

Planet Fitness has become part of a better life for me thanks to all the hard work by staff and management to keep it clean and safe.

They all are very helpful. I live working out here. Plus there are social distancing while excerise.

Every time I go tanning here I have to ask them to “re”clean the bed they send me to because they are dirty every. single. time. Who sends someone to a dirty sweaty bed that you could probably get a disease from? I got a membership because I wanted the tanning but it’s more worth it to go to a salon.

I started going here a few weeks ago & Im a new member. There are plenty of machines to choose from. There is one treadmill that is not suitable to be ran on, when you pick up speed the belt starts to stick causing you to jolt and mess up your momentum. I believe its the second to last treadmill before the ab workout area. Other than that, the place is kept pretty clean. I just wish they use a different type of paper towels for wiping down the machines. They tear easily and dont do very well with spreading the cleaning solution onto the machine youre wiping.

Went in there to see what they got to offer. The dude even explained concisely what they have.

Get some shower mats like Moorhead, and a bigger water heater! This place could also use a refresh, some stuff is starting to look warn; almost unsafe. We all PF has the membership value, reflect that in the gym.

I love that they have so many aerobic machines that I never have to wait, an also their separate sections of weights to target the zones I need in addition to the standard weight area

Its a great place to workout, and motivate yourself.

This is one of the better planet fitness locations out there. They keep the equipment, locker rooms and the facility in general very clean. My only gripe is they dont regularly maintain the treadmills so a lot of them slip which has caused me to almost fall off a few times.... But other than that, its my zen place everyday.

They are doing an amazing job with social distancing. The towel dispensers, however, do not function well. One has to use the knob on the side to get them out. Many people before me have touched/used that knob but havent wiped it off. I think the dispensers should be replaced with the no touch wave ones. Much more sanitary and cost effective.

Really like the equipment, price, and times being open. Disappointed that some people that are walking around without masks and the staff doesnt say anything to them. Even though there are signs everywhere stating to wear masks when not using the equipment. Then again when you see an employee working out and not wearing a mask when they are walking around between sets and not wiping down equipment, what do you expect.

The equipment is new and well maintained. The staff is friendly.But I have to take a couple stars off since they dont enforce their rules. They recently have posted and explain to patrons that you have to wear a mask while walking around and not working out. Which I am perfectly fine with. The problem is if you are black, they dont make you follow the rules. You dont have to wear a mask, you dont have to wipe down machines, you dont have to rack your weights. None of the rules apply here if you are black.I see this every time I go in here, at any time of the day. I wish they would of explained to me when I signed up, that you are exempt from following the rules if you are black.

Always a great atmosphere for working out. They are taking precautions to minimize contact and exposure.

The epuipment and facility are really beautiful. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is really sad. Nobody, and I mean nobody, talks to one another during their workouts. The company operates under a foundation of non-judgment with signs all over the place that you belong. That couldnt be farther from the truth. This company is all about judgment. In fact, theres a sign on the wall that says if you drink water out of a gallon jug and you wear a tank top during your workout you are considered what is called a lunk. And people who are considered lunks are summarily dismissed and memberships revoked. Who cares what size the container is that you drink water out of? So much for non judgement. I just think thats absolutely crazy. Just do a quick search on YouTube for all the people who lost their membership at a planet fitness. They may be trying to attract people who are new to the fitness industry and once they get in better shape they are no longer welcome. Ive been working out for a long time and I feel very uncomfortable in this gym.Again, the locker room is really nice the facilities are really nice but its a sad place to work out. I feel like Im walking around on eggshells and Im going to get my membership taken away any second.👀

Great spot to get my me time in! I love the fact that they have so many machines I never have to wait. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. My only con is that they are often hard to find in the evening if you want to tan or do the aqua massage. But otherwise, its a nice down to earth kind of gym!

I very warm and spacious for exercising. Clean bathroom and showers. Half priced cold energy drinks and water if you sign up for $22 a month membership. Love it.

Always clean, never super busy. There are a few pieces of equipment they are missing (eg. squat rack, and bench) but for the price it’s a great gym. Staff are super friendly, lots of facilities (tanning, massage). And you get free pizza once a month which is... different

Went as a guest and I really enjoyed it. It’s not for me as the gym is designed for those who are new at it.

Benches in front of dumbbell rack suck and are wobbly as hell. Half the equipment when I come to town for the holidays is out of service. Staff is good, not a problem there just the equipment.

Very clean environment, the machines are well taken care of the color scheme is a bit wonky but more funny to me than annoying. Every employee Ive dealt with was polite and friendly...cant speak for anyone else. This is not a heavy lifting beast mode gym so yeah thats where the low ratings come from. Do your research instead of joining and then complaining online, might help you have a more positive outlook on life :) Great gym experience for me.

I am very happy with this gym. Most of the employees are very helpful and they definitely work hard to keep the place clean. Its tough to beat the price for the membership which includes massage chairs, aqua massage beds, tanning and free personal training. Its also far more spacious than Anytime Fitness. Unlike another user review on here, I requested that a worn-out attachment to the cable systems be replaced and they ordered it right away. I do think that the Judgement-free Zone is a bit of a joke considering that theyre being judgmental by defining the type of lifters who they consider to be Lunks. But Im not there for that part of it anyway. The gym meets my needs since I really dont need free weights any bigger than what they have. And there are many people at the gym who are very muscular so its not as though you cant lift heavy at PF. From the sounds of the extremely negative reviewers I would agree that the gym simply doesnt fit what theyre looking for. It doesnt mean that Planet Fitness is a bad gym. Its just not the type that everyone is looking for. It gets two thumbs up from me!

I suspect its against the rules for the front desk staff to smile or be helpful. I get the feeling that Im bothering them. The trainer is unapproachable and hasnt cracked a friendly smile yet. It has a cold shoulder dont bother me atmosphere.

Im from the South, and travel a lot for work. I have been to a good amount of Planet Fitness Gyms, and this has been the best one, yet.

No star -The trainer was terrible!! My daughter, needing to get in shape, requested a trainer. The trainer treats her like she is preparing for a iron-man event. He was not a skilled trainer. What was worse, the trainer and club failed to contact her for further training sessions. I have been a member for awhile now, and I do not wish to be a member any longer, due to the way the club treated my daughter.

I told 3 different people about the D-ring so worn its about to snap, none cared. Thats what happens when you permanently screw them on. Can not change handles on lat pull down or row so no neutral grip. Full of sketchy trash that wont rerack or wipe down. I recommend the other 24 hour gyms not full of hood rats. Just my 2 cents.

Planet Fitness is a great place to workout, get a massage, or go tanning. The employees are nice and receptive, the machines are well kept, and the entire place is a judgement free zone!

Very clean facility with modern equipment. Cardio area is exceptional with many machine/movement options. Has a TRX area that is a bit on the cramped side. All the barbells are fixed to Smith machines which is kind of a bummer. Cheap rates and has available tanning and massage chairs. Locker room and showers are always clean and welcoming.

Its a gym. Girlfriend like THE CHAIR of MASSAGES. Great staff. Clean.

I did the hydromassage as i was exhausted. It made me feel so good. I had this horrible cramp on my right calf but my back and neck were so tight. I cried because it felt so good. Thank you planet fitness.

Solid gym. They offer cheap college memberships and, although it isnt a weight lifters gym, they have, for the most part, everything you need to get a good lift in. They dont have scales which is the one downside.*This is the first planet fitness I have belonged to and am comparing it to a normal gym - not other planet fitnesses.

Don’t trust this place! I canceled my membership over the phone & thought it was done...One year later I found out they were still charging my bank account! I ended up going in & signing a paper I was never told I had to sign. Very shady!

Okay, so Ive noticed that a majority of the people who get frustrated are the heavy lifters. Meaning no offense, but maybe you should have done your research before joining the gym and then getting bend out of shape about not being able to grunt. Im sorry, I HATE going to a gym and hearing people grunt constantly, or do the scream thing, I dont care if youre trying to be the worlds next top bodybuilder or not. Planet Fitness has always been known as the transitional type gym. Its for those people who are just starting out, and dont want to constantly be bothered by those who are super fitness junkies. Its considered a judgment free zone for a reason. If you dont like it, you dont have to go, its that simple. Or you can always bring a ball gag so you make sure you dont grunt. Sounds fair to me.

I have never had a worse experience in a gym then I did here. If your a dude who likes to go heavy and works hard and wants to get big, dont waste your time. I got warned to not grunt while lifting... Im not kidding, an employee came up to me and said sir no grunting. They have a lunk alarm that basically mocks guys who work out and take it seriously. Bottom line... Place is a joke. But hey if you just wanna walk in eat tootsie rolls and walk on a treadmill then go nuts.

Great place if you want to walk off the weight you put on eating the tootsie rolls offered at every flat surface there.Dont even think about trying to do a legitimate exercise using a free weight, because there are barely any.Not a single bar, unless you count the pre-loaded ez bars, or the smith machines.Dumbells only go up to 70lbs. Forget doing a deadlift, youll set off the lunk alarm and have the soccer moms glaring at you.But if you like machines and treadmills, go for it!
