Been here twice! Always very nice and professional! The prices are very reasonable. The workers definitely know what they are doing! They are very good with getting you in and out as soon as possible. Definitely my go-to auto repair in Grand Forks and would highly recommend it to everyone!

I was recommended this place from several people as Im not from the area and have only ever trusted my father to work on my car, I was incredibly anxious about finding someone new. First of all, I have never been in an auto shop that offers free snacks and drinks, what an awesome thing to have for people who are waiting on their vehicles! Second, Ray was super helpful and professional, the mechanics let me know any other issues there may have been with my car that would need servicing soon. On top of that, the price was super reasonable. I will be returning here to get my brakes brakes fixed =)

Brought my daily in for some relatively minor maintenance, but a full inspection revealed that much more was needed than originally expected. Ray and his guys knocked out a two page receipts worth of work in less than 24 hours at a ridiculously fair charge considering the labor involved. Cars running smoother than it has in a long time, and I couldnt be happier with the services provided. I can definitely say that Thunder Rays has me as a loyal customer. If only there was a rating above five stars.

I had a great experience at Thunder Ray’s. For a young woman in college that doesn’t have her dad close by to help her with her car anymore, Thunder Ray’s was easy to work with, friendly, and timely. Ray even chatted with me for a bit, showing me that he really cares about his customers! Ray is awesome! This is the only place Ill bring my vehicle. They replaced my transfer case and Im having them replace my transmission, starter and tire on my truck. Prices are great! Quick repairs, perfect place to support your hometown shop. The guys are super nice and will help you with just about anything.

I took my RAV4 in for an oil change and tire rotation at Thunder Rays and received absolutely fantastic service. I brought a pair of headphones to use while waiting but didnt even use them because I had such a great time talking with the owner and his wife! It was much faster than the dealership in town, and I felt like I received better service. The tech came out at the end and let me know exactly how everything looked and when I might expect to need new brakes. Overall a great experience and Rays will be the only place I take my car for service in town from here on out.

I called to get an oil change and to have them check a coolant and oil leak that I had been having. I was able to get my vehicle in quickly and the diagnosis was prompt and friendly. I chose to have most of the problems that they found fixed and left one problem for later. The work was done well and actually came in at less than I was quoted! To me, that kind of honesty is very valuable. I will use Thunder Rays for any work that I need done in the future and you should too. Great job and thanks!

I had recently had my check engine light and brake lights turn on at the same time and have them a call the next morning. They got me in immediately and fixed my rear brakes very quickly. The lobby is beautiful and the service was fantastic. Mom and pop type feel with quality service. I will definitely recommend to any and all of my friends! The owner is such a kind person. Oil change under 30min, walked me around vehicle to see possible future fixes. No pressure was great as well. Clean sitting area with nice beverage and snack options for adults and kids.

Had my oil changed here this past Friday, everything inside was so clean and sleek, I was very impressed upon entering the building! They had free soda/water and snacks for you while you waited, which is ALWAYS a huge perk, and I was given a punch card for my oil change; once you pay for 6, the 7th one is free! I love a good incentive, I will definitely be back again for my next! Everything was very quick and seamless, 10/10 guys, great job!

Bought and replaced my 4 tires here this past week. I was very impressed how quick and efficient it was. I was in and out in about an hour! They had free water/soda and snacks in their waiting room, which also included a tv! It is a very clean and well maintained facility! I will definitely be back for all of my car needs!

Everyone at Thunder Rays are old school mechanics and spend the time and patience with you on whatever you need done. Ive been dealing with tires that have been leaking air for over two years and was beyond frustrated as I never had a nail in a tire with these leaks. I asked if they could take a look at the wheels themselves in case they were bad or corroded. They not only let me examine the wheels while they were working on them, but cleaned the wheels lips up for me without any extra charge. Im incredibly thankful to have a local group of people to bring things to if Im unable to do it myself. Thanks Thunder Rays!
