The customer service was terrible. They are not helpful or kind. The tables are in terrible condition. Get ready to do all the work. They don’t even want to help with loading or unloading their products for you. Do yourself a huge favor and use a different company. I would drive 100 miles further if I had to. They do not even deserve one star.

Go with someone else. Customer service was not great. They were not kind or easy to work with. We felt like every time we talked with them, we were annoying, doing a disservice, or bothering them, as if we hadn’t hired them to do the job they are supposed to do. Did not set anything else we rented from them after we cancelled their large tent because our guest count went down and it was no longer needed, which they openly told us they didn’t want to set up or take down.

My experience was less than stellar with this company... We had planned a wedding outdoors at a venue that required us to have a tent since they didnt have an indoor backup plan-they recommended Party Time to us since they were local to the venue so we hired party time for the tent, tables, chairs, linens, etc. In March, COVID hit and weddings throughout the year were forced to postpone or cancel and our venue was no longer able to host our wedding under the originally agreed upon plan so we were forced to make a decision. Also in March my mom who lives halfway across the country was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, increasing our desire to postpone through her treatments/surgeries. We talked with all our vendors including Party Time Rentals and found many flexible, but not Party Time. CONS: Party Time would not let us out of our contract, they did agree to postpone but if it was into 2021 we wouldnt get the discount we had gotten during a deal, we felt we were at a loss if we didnt proceed with our original date and we were locked into using our rentals if we didnt want to lose money. Party Time told us that if our original venue wasnt able to host our wedding that likely no other venues would either-- this was not true as we reached out to several other venues that agreed to host our wedding- but we wouldnt be needing a tent for those venues. We decided on a backyard reception so that we could use the tent but our house was an extra 45 minutes away and Party Time increased the delivery fee from $40 for 3.8 miles to $315 for 46 miles!--Lisa, the owner, agreed to bring the price down to $200, but this was insult to injury--not the wedding we planned on, forced to move, and paying an increased delivery fee. The day before the wedding when everything was delivered, I discovered our sweetheart tablecloth was missing as they ordered the wrong color and it was up to me to go pick up the right one from another rental company. PROS: Party Time did allow from the beginning changes to our order up to two weeks prior to the wedding so we downsized everything (tent, number of tables/chair) and since it was looking like a nice warm evening Lisa did offer to take the tent heater off the order since we wouldnt be using it. The staff at Party Time was very responsive via email and updated the order form each time we decreased our order. Our wedding turned out beautiful and the gentlemen who set up the tent were very respectful!

I contacted Party Time Rentals after Covid ruined my initial wedding plans and they were able to assist me with all that I needed to host a beautiful ceremony and reception, and they did it all in a months notice! They were extremely informative and helpful in picking out what I needed and had prompt delivery and pick up.

Mark & Lisa are absolutely amazing. We rented multiple items from them for our wedding and everything was perfect. I will definitely be renting from Party Time Rentals again!

We worked with Lisa and Amy at Party Time Rentals Maine to rent white garden chairs for our outdoor wedding ceremony. The chairs were exactly what we wanted and were good quality. They were prompt to respond and easy to work with. The week of our wedding they called to discuss delivery and pick-up times and followed our venue’s instructions on where to put them. I recommend them!

Other than putting the dance floor in the wrong place everything went so well. Love the contact they make prior to the event.

Party Time over promises and under delivers. They act like everything is no problem and they’ll be sure to get everything delivered ahead of time and it’s documented on the contract. Then a few days before when you confirm, they complain that their college staff have gone back to school and that it’s a “very busy weekend” for them, but the tent install will still happen, just later in the day because the installers will be two towns over with apparently a more important client. They’ll call with an ETA the next morning they say. The next morning comes and goes with no phone call. When the tent install still hasn’t happened in the afternoon, we have to call, and they let slip that they forgot to give the paperwork to the installers. We also then have to track down the installers ourselves and negotiate with them directly because Party Time has given up, they are overwhelmed and incompetent. We’re in a service industry ourselves and when we make a promise, we make it happen. We don’t add more work for our clients, we pull out all the stops to make sure that what we promised happens. Party Time was very unprofessional. They accepted too much work and couldn’t make it happen even though we reserved months in advance.

Amy is great! Provided a little of support and guidance for our needs. Even gave us some additional ideas to think about.

My daughter got married this past weekend, September 20th.We cannot say enough good things about the service we received from the wonderful people at Party Time Rentals. They were very organized, friendly and knowledgable. As the mother of the bride, I highly recommend one of their services which includes fully setting the tables with the tablecloths, napkins, plates, glasses, silverware, center pieces and anything else you need done.It took the pressure off me and they went beyond my expectations!The tent was clean, as were the chairs.

Not bad! gets the job done at a reasonable rate

This company is absolutely horrible at communication. My fiancé and I tried to get a quote from them several times for at least two months and never got one. Communication is KEY when you are supplying items for something as special as someones wedding. The prices on their website are fair, but apparently 100-150 guests isnt a big enough event for them to deliver, so wed have to go pick up everything for both the ceremony and reception ourselves. Who has a vehicle sitting around that fits 100 wedding chairs in with tables and linens and an arbor? Not me. I definitely would NOT recommend this company.
