Terrible for my wallet great for bargains. Where am I going to put all this fabulous stuff?
Awesome and polite staff also very helpful when I came in this morning to see were to drop off some old stuff I so recommend it
Very pleasant staff on hand. We pick up different materials that go to a large recycling center in Massachusetts. The crew was excellent and helpful quickly directing me to the right person I needed to talk to for the pick up. Got me loaded withing 40 minutes and was on my way. Makes for a great start to the day.
People very rude. Smells bad. Regulars get special treatment even when Verbally threatening others in line. Management walks away on hostile man calling women very harsh words. Pathetic really.
I called to ask a question and speak to the manager or supervisor. The man who answered the phone just said I cant hear you, theres too much noise in my back ground and hung up while I was in the middle of speaking. Not sure if managers read these posts but coming from a business stand point this is not professional.
The wait for 26 people begins 45 min beforeAlthough the rotation is 4 times a day..they only allow for1 hour and then begin removing the bins for checkoutSo basically 1.5 hours to roll bins out and roll new in with no customers. They do not like customers to be there and its obvious. And their prices have gone up. The reason given...we have to make up for lost customers and time closed...The warehouse is huge. There should be 50 plus people allowed.Done
I love the quality of the items I get from there, the technology section is my favorite!
Ive driven 30 minutes 3 times this week to find 40 people waiting in line 30 minutes before they open, by the time I wait in line and get inside you take the bins away 20 minutes before your closing time and I have 10 minutes to shop. NOT FAIR TO CUSTOMERS!!The same 25 people are there all day every day making in close to impossible to allow any new customers in, its a shame to see a fun place that everybody loves to shop at be ruined by people who spend 8 hours a day every day there. The hours are horrable, closing for an hour every 3 hours ruins the flow of traffic and restarts with the same people that were inside an hour before.People need to be limited to how long and how many times a day they can shop, just like every other place of business. I understand this is peoples job to buy and resell, as I do that as well. but its destroying the growth of your business and turning so many customers away from shopping here.I just wanna be able to shop here for an hour twice a week and the repetitive customers and store hours prevent that. Also the rush inside is like black friday, no one has any respect for social distancing, bumping shoulders and practically pushing people to get through the mob. This store has gone downhill and desperately needs to be resolved.
Not all the time I find what iam looking for
You can buy things by the pound. How cool is that?New items are brought in pretty quickly, and shuffled out. There is always a decent crowd so items are picked over rather quickly, but it is also done in bulk so that is understandable. Probably a good place to go if you needed 20 pounds of winter clothing. The staff is super helpful and happy to explain the rules to new comers as well, so feel free to ask.
It’s not the store that gets 2 stars it’s the customers... ruthless.. Hudson NH had a lil more to select from.
If you like to go yard sailing then this place is for you. I started coming here a few months ago and it can be very addicting.. I’m always finding stuff for myself, family and friends or even to flip. Yes u have to go through big bins but u never know what U will find. It can be smelly and dirty, i suggest not wearing your best clothes and bring gloves. Wish I had discovered this place years ago:)
This is a crazy shopping experience. Its more about finding a rare treasure amongst the trash rather than shopping for specific items. Everything is sold by the pound. Very cheap, so when you find something you want, you feel lucky. Merchandise changes hourly. Its like dumpster diving. I find it fun. Not for everyone.
This place is awesome! The ULTIMATE in thrifting! .10/LB books and electronics, $1.39/LB nearly everything else. Its hard to describe - you just have to go and experience it for yourself. The entire stores inventory changes every couple of hours. What?? Yes! Just. Go. See.
Some good finds, but you have to look. I think they change the tables a bit too quickly. The kid at the cash register was nice. Always a bonus to have a nice cashier.
This is by far the worst place I have ever worked.,it was a huge relief to find another job. Nothing about this company is fair !! They don’t appreciate their employees. It does not make any difference if you work hard or not, nobody ever has a “Thank You “, “Good Job “. Unless you are in the clique. Don’t be fooled by this company claiming to be so great.
This recycling and donation center is great for giving junk new homes. It has fantastic pricing and really good assortment of products. These are donated merchandise of course so things are used and pieces may be missing. Merchandise is sorted into bins by groups like, clothes, shoes, books, glass, electronics, furniture, textile, movies/music, and everything else. Not everythings in bins but what is in bins does get handled and sometimes broken or separated from all its pieces by everyone handling things as they search through. This is the only reason Ive considered taking a star off. While this is not Goodwills intent its still a product of the architecture of their setup. Goodwill also has a large and growing e-commerce section.
It used to be better before they changed their rotation schedule. Now it takes way too long for new product to come out. Before you got 12 bins every 45 minutes, now you get 6 bins every hour
Would give a higher rating but the experience has gotten worse over the years. Items are no longer sorted. The smell of body odor is many times over powering. Certain regular customers hoard items to search for the forgotten nickel that may be left in a bag. Others hurl items with no regard for other customers. One particular customer regularly hoards cds and dvds only to remove them from the cases only to throw the cases back in the bins. I witnessed another couple stealing items from an older womans shopping cart! Management please take notice. What used to be a reasonably pleasant trip is no longer so.
Like a yard sale on steroids. Not the crappy steroids that MLB allows, but like the ones Arnold did in the late 70s - Early 80s. Good buys if you know what you are looking for.
You can get random junk for low prices here. Some people make a living out of reselling online, but the real winners are the bank or online store, lol. Either way, its kind of fun (and disgusting at times) to sort through piles of junk to find stuff you dont need, but want to buy! Overall, the shoppers here are way nicer than Hollis NH, in that location, they (illegals?) SHOVE you out of the way and you have to seriously push back. This isnt food rations for your family after an earthquake! Its JUNK that no one bought! Yes, go to Gorham instead. Way less intense. Enjoy, and keep donating your junk :)
Overall, most customers are courteous. Unlike stories Ive read about other locations. Staff are nice as are the cashiers. Parking can be tough on really crowded days.
Complete scam. If you have anything of actual value when you check out, they will make up an excuse as to why you cannot buy it. It should be “Buy Garbage by the Pound.”
Cheap second hand goods electronics and clothing. Great place to donate unwanted items that others may be able to use and benefit from. Can be kind of confusing on where to go but the entrance is located on the left aide of the building as you are driving in! Hope this helps you all!
Great place for good deals but you have to be willing to get dirty and deal with the regulars who know what they are doing
Waiting for reopening☹️ miss the people and the hunt for junk 🙃one mans junk...........
If you have the time you can find some good deals but geesh the place is dirty! There is WAY too much junk. HEY, GOODWILL its a thrift store not a junk store. Oh, and the employees that roll the product/bins into the warehouse are downright rude. Just sayin.
26 people at a time, at a specific time. I got in line at 12:30 with a sign saying next turn 1pm Not sure how often that turn is. A lot less bins to pick through.
Very inexpensive, money goes to a great cause. They have new items there as well. A great affordable way to shop
I want to keep this place to myself so I wont tell you how much fun this place is :)
The rotation are only half of what they used to be a week prior. Stay Away that have just ruined this place. You will find little to nothing due to new changes.
Must spend lots of time, wear gloves to protect against getting cut while digging through the bins.
Always have fun, today got chalk paints for small furniture and Alot of CDs,couple of audio books, never know what youll find!
Wonderful, Great deals Happy as a Lark when I leave there & the people that work there are very helpful.
Be ready to get dirty, because this place is filthy. You have to dig through junk to find anything worthwhile. But theres nowhere else you can get a dozen books and a dozen CDs for less than $5. But youre also just as likely to leave empty handed.
Very good place always have a change of change of materials and products wait a few minutes and then the item might come out you want very reasonably priced
Good place to score deals, but be prepared to fight people for things in the bins. There are pros here and you easily spot them.
It is a good place for deals, but not organization. Very inexpensive, but be prepared to rummage through large bins with a modgepod of stuff.
I love it so many cool clothes and cool things you can find. Some of it is legit junk but thats expected.
A great place to to find all sorts of things to recycle/upcycle!
Love this place! This is my escape from all the turmoil in the bad news in television! Check it out.
Its used stuff. Some good deals but you have to serch for them
I love to shop here but there are some really rude people who also shop here that will almost knock you down to get to something before you and you really have to protect your children if you take them there
Have noticed that the quality of the items are getting worse.I do like the new rotation method. Much less rushing.
Basically, youre in a Macklemore video. This is the last stop for stuff that either doesnt sell at Goodwill or doesnt meet their standards for sellable merchandise before it gets recycled or burned or shot into space or whatever. Go with an open mind and not much money.
Dont bother with this junk. All the decent stuff is sold on their ebay site
I wish there was a designated parking for shopping carts and people made to park them instead of blocking the bins. Also, couldnt some of the giant items and blankets be removed?
I paid 3 bucks for a pair of nice LL Bean leather shoes, a wool sweater, two toys for my kid, and a huge unused sketch book. Thats right. $3.00.
Great bargains if you dont mind pawing through bins
I like to go goodwill pound store . I like to find nices stuff off animal and clothes come from vs, American eagle, forever 21, old Barbies from 1966,
Would be much better experience if certainregulars didnt think they were the only ones there..hands flailing, throwing stuff everywhere..i got hit once,i spoke up...cheap persons that take all cds and movies out of their cases and throw them back in the bins as trash...too cheap to pay the extra 5 or 10 cents it might cost them...pathectic!!!!
I will NEVER shop here again and I work for this company! Store manager Kevin is absolutely USELESS!!
Got a pair of slightly used Merrell trail hiking sneakers and a Dak food dehydrator for $3.15. If you like yard sale or eBay get a whole gaylord for 20 bucks. Bring some friends and fill up your truck or minivan.
Fun for a thrifter. Go with someone who has been there before so they can tell you how it works!
A great place to hunt for deals. You may have to dig but its worth it
Is a good place to find used stuff
Cool idea, very cheap prices, you might find a treasure! Bring rubber gloves, can get messy for your hands.
Lots of hidden gems if youre willing to dig
SO much smaller than I anticipated. I go to the Hudson Buy The Pound frequently and was expecting a similar experience. This place is about a quarter of the size.
This place was very hectic and a complete mess but I guess there what you expect for a place like this. The employees were so nice.
Cool area to see everything before it is distributed to the stores!
Everything changes and I love the fact that its soo cheap. Ive found some interesting things there :D couldnt be happier
A new experience but loved it, Definitely going back.
This place was very filthy and gross. I was scared to even go in. K Y S
First time there pretty cool
Hit or miss. Have to dig thru bins
Horrible expierience it was my first time and they cashier was extremely rude and disrespectful and unfriendly. I wont return!
Fun fun fun but a bit grungy. Its to be expected though.
Love this store! Clean for a bin store!
Not best place if you have allergies especially to dust however you can find a lot here for great prices.
Basically, gleaning unsold Goodwill merchandise. You never know what youll find.
Great place to pickup at !!! Had me in the dock and loaded in 45 minutes and pulling out of the yard !!!!!!!!
Always busy but I like looking for things that I can use.
Smells really bad. Wont go back
You can buy most items here by the pound. Some items like computer towers and other electronics are priced. You pick from giant sleds and other shoppers will push and spice to get items. Some may try to grab an item from your cart
Great place to treasure hunt
Never know what you might find! Watch out for the crazy ladys!!
An excellent place to find things you didnt know you needed.
Great
You never know what you might find!
Fun place for bargain hunting
Always able to find a treasure
Cheap af but selection was poor
Great store
Just dropping off stuff.
Didnt find anything worth while
I LOVE IT!!!
I worked there and cot scaveys from there
The smell and the staff were terrible.
Such a neat idea
Always interesting finds
Lots to look at, not a quick visit
Not as good as it used to be.
Like treasure hunting for junk
Awesome
A TREASURE HUNT...
