With the recent passing of my Mom I have had to use this UPS store way more often than normal due to dealing numerous entities regarding my situation. I just want to say that Magi and Linda have made my decision to keep coming back very easy as they both have been very helpful and friendly. In particular, Magi, as I seem to get her more often and there is nothing she doesnt do to make the process as easy as possible and she never has a bad day, and always offers to find the right solution for whatever I have to mail. Waisting my time . Waited 40 min and another 30 min because the lady name Linda didnt care of my package she did not check the address .I had to return the store to wait another 40min. They had 4 worker need at least 8. Extremely SLOWThey need self checking machine and drop off at the front of the store

When 5-6 customers are in line at 5:30, you donβt just count the cash while another person helps. You stop what your doing and help the paying customers then count your money when people arenβt in the store. Itβs a very basic customer service thing.
The team there had customer out the door and they had great tem work to get everyone out in a matter of minutes great team work..
Good for the employees standing up for themselves. There was a Karen in there cursing and yelling about wearing a mask. The woman politely said she could leave or call the police. Love to see people not having to put up with customers treating them like animals. Good for you.

(The manager was excellent in helping me and the store was extremely clean. I feel safe doing my business here . Thanks for all you do. ) I wrote this because the manager said i would get a discount and come to find out i got charged triple from the other ups store. I was sending a book to myrtle Beach so friend could take a test. I needed it there asap. The manager said the quickest it would be there was in 2 days charged me $35. I was ok with it until the book was sent back and it was only $13 and got back in one day. Something is wrong with that.
I am someone who cannot wear a mask due to extreme asthma and I walked in with a very quick transaction, literally only required a scan of a QR code for my Amazon return and one of the women in there told me I would have to email to set up an appointment and would have to come back, and I found out to set up the appointment it would be a charge. The woman was very rude and loud and literally couldβve scanned my QR code 12 times and let me leave in the whole time she took to tell me she couldnβt help me. I called the Summerville store and they are able to help me. Thanks UPS store in Summerville for being accommodating to those who cannot wear masks.

I had a package to ship to Sacramento that was extremely difficult! Very impressed with the way they packaged it to I sure it would not break. They NEVER answer the phone! Plus got charged almost $10 for papers that never got faxed! Previously when I was here, I was charged for something I didnt even know I was bring charged for! Not only are their process high but they are NOT up front about them. Next time Ill just drove the extra miles to Summerville. π
I always go else where for my shipping needs. When I first entered the location it was very nice and clean.I can say that I really liked this spot !! The ladies there were awesome !! Greeted me with a smile. They are fast and efficient with no hassle. Great prices overall. I will Definitely be coming back to the Goose creek location.
I had a horrible rainy day. And i was so upset to find that i brought three large boxes here all to find out that the shipper from amazon was going to have me pay to ship it back and the cost of that was mote than the product. I was so dissapointed in myself for not realizing that before. This team helped me get everything back in my trunk and gave some suggestions for how to turn a profit on the product i no longer need. Just had an absolutely wonderful experience at this store! I had originally gone to the post office but the gentleman there was incredibly rude and dismissive. Ms. Maggie and Ms. Linda were so helpful at UPS! I had several questions and they answered each of them with patience, understanding and beautiful smiles. They helped me figure out the best sized boxes for my items and gave me a few tips for future shipments. Customer service is definitely a priority for these ladies and it showed today. I needed to ship a phone fast to my child in college that had theirs stolen .. Bryce ans Jada not only gave me stellar customer service and support. They took extra steps to explain to me how to best protect my package and made sure they packaged for safety and even let me know I could insure its value and I did purchase the extra coverage - I am so grateful for these 2 - they seem to be an excellent team and really cared about me getting this pack to my child and before the holiday. Great job UPS!! I am very happy and appreciated them so much. I hope you can recognize their phenomenal job in making this fast and super easy for me.
Worst customer service. Will never use overpriced UPS again. They also have a 7 dollar return and holding fee for all packages. A package they say a delivery driver tried to deliver three times but never left a note of course to tell the person they had a delivery. My mother and I come twice a month to this store to send my nephew packages but never again!

Horrible and unprofessional customer service by Magi. She is disrespectful, highly rude and had a bad attitude. She argued with me. I wanted to ship an item just in its original box and she kept saying, it should in another box, it should be in another box. She said it rudely. I should have just told her but I dont want in another box. She muttered saying you should have used the box to pack it.

I smell either a bid for higher ratings or this place is so spectacular that people who never write a review are suddenly compelled to give 5 stars for their UPS Store experience. . Id suspect a reviewing spree from all those 1 review and quit accounts previously mentioned after this.
I had to ship several items to our plant in St. Louis at the last minute. I was fortunate to run into an understanding staff at the Goose Creek Store. The attendant that helped me was named Magi. She did a great professional job packing and making sure my packages were going to get to St. Louis by the day I was going to arrive and had to use items on the project Im working on.Thanks UPS STORE/Magi!
Absolutely the worst service Ive ever had anywhere. I paid for a couple POAs to be sent 2nd day air to WA on Thursday at 11am and delivered Saturday. Well come Saturday I check to see if its delivered and its been rescheduled for TUESDAY. This store refuses to refund my money because nothing is gauranteed because of the virus. Then WHAT did I pay for?? That would have been nice to know BEFORE I chose to use you!!! Worse than that, since the paperwork wont get there on time, now Ive potentially lost the house and $2000. Thanks UPS.

Poor customer service from the young lady working today. I just ask you to put water on the envelope to close it. The young lady look at me as if I was saying something wrong and pointing at the overnight envelope and showings me that it has glue on it to close. I had to explain to her why I wanted the envelope close and it was because, a check is in it and I dont want the check to fall out the envelope when they open the overnight mail envelope. Then she decided to close it with tape. This was a simple task for her to do. This location will not stay open without the customers. If good customer service is not something she likes then find another job.

A very clean store that was well staffed. Efficient and a really great atmosphere not crowded or noisy. Linda was extremely helpful with some questions about a document I was stressed out over, highly recommended for notary services very direct and polite. I dont know where the several negative reviews are coming from but I can attest that my experience at this location was the exact opposite.

Hurricane Dorian arrived in Charleston early AM on Thursday, Sept. 5. The post office closed Monday for Labor Day. They decided to close Tuesday as well. They are still closed. I had some parcels I had to mail so I called this UPS location on Tuesday morning. Got a message saying they were busy with customers and could not answer the phone. Drove over there and discovered that it was, in fact, closed. Spoke to another customer who said that she called and got the same message.It seems that the manager could have taken the time to change the message on their answering machine. No telling how many customers who were duped into wasting time and gas making a useless journey. Incompetent to say the least.
First and Last time I will get copies done there. I asked for 100 copies of a flyer on plain printer paper in color. I was charged $52.. For copies?? That is insane. They should tell you how much copies are before doing that for you as they dont post prices anywhere. I have had to make copies at Staples and FedEx before and was only charged .10 cents a copy for black and white, and .15 cents for color. Should have went elsewhere. My fault for not asking but their fault for not saying anything knowing the cost. Wont be back.
Only giving 1 star because you have to to write a review. I bought 6 bags of packing peanuts and only ended using 3 so I went back and asked if I could return the unused bags and they said yes. I brought them in and an old lady with short gray hair (Iβm not the first person to complain about this person) proceeded to tell me she would only take two back because one bag had some missing out of it. I told her βno thatβs not true but okayβ. After I got my credit for the two bags I told her βI just want you to know Iβm not a thief and your welcome for the 3 bags I bought from hereβ. I have never been treated so poorly at a business before. I WILL NEVER BE GIVING THIS STORE MY BUSINESS EVER AGAIN!!!

Needed to ship a set of Cornhole boards and Magi delivered 5+ start service with knowledge of what she was doing and an extremely friendly personality doing it. Asked how much it would be to send a flat rate shipping box before I started the process for USPS and was told itd be the same price as going to their store. After wasting 30 minutes I was told that it would be $30 more to ship it through ups.

I came back to check and my review was deleted from a year ago. The female senior citizen (Maggie)that works here has some serious horrible customer service skills. There was also another person there and english wasnt her first language. I remember trying to have something shipped and the internet was down. They had nothing but attitudes and I reciprocated. I was then told by the with english not at her first language to get out. I went to the UPS store in Summerville and I remember it was wonderful from start to finish. They even helped me print the label from my email. Be weary of this store and the horrible customer service representatives especially of the one who should be in a home.
I have never interacted with the older individual. My experience has been pleasant. The younger staff there are cheerful and truly want to be helpful. I give it 4 stars because they do what they do and the do it well. I definitely will use their service again (Nov 18)
Shipped packages this week and am extremely pleased with the service here, thank you Magi! Shipped glass jars, Magi wrapped them so well I donβt think a tank running over the box could damage them! They offer military discounts as well.

Stopped in the UPS store at 11am Thursday morning to ship a package for my sisters graduation the following Tuesday, which is when I was told the package would arrive. The package was not SENT OUT until Tuesday night, meaning my box was sitting in the UPS store for all of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday before it left the store. No one called or texted me to let me know there was a delay. When I called to express my disappointment in experience, I was told they dont control the UPS trucks. Apparently UPS trucks do not stop at this location more than twice a week! Beware of using this store if you have packages needing to go out. Will not use this store again.

I cant say enough about the help I received from the staff this morning, especially, Magi, who helped me pack a huge box of clothes to ship to a friend who lost her home and all of her belongings in the California wildfires. Magi also saved me a lot of money compared to what I would have paid at the post office. If you live in Goose Creek, please visit the UPS Store at their new location next to Cicis Pizza in the Big Lots shopping center.

Theres an older lady with short white hair employed here with no customer service skills. She is unpleasant and disrespectful. To work with the public, it takes the right positive personality, of which she doesnt have. She should work in the back moving boxes. I wont return because of her and will share my experience with others so they too will choose a different UPS location.

Lucky to get 1 star! Had a very odd package to prep for shipping, they said they could do it so I put into motion the transaction to receive payment and shipping arrangements were made with Greyhound Package Express. I go in next day to give part and they tell me that now they cant do it? WTH. They really didnt care of the dilemma that created. Went to Postal Pal in GC and they did it with no problem. Highly recommend Postal Pal and will never use UPS store in GC again.
Today will be my last time doing business with the St. James Ave. location. I go there for the convenience, but the gray haired lady that works there comes off so rude and arrogant, its like Im dealing with astate employee that hates her job or maybe shes just angry at herself for arriving to work late and is embarrassed, who knows . I went to The UPS Store to have copies made for a Church event. There was one set of 140 copies and one set of 490 copies. I had the copies done early. Three weeks later I went to use the copies. Instead of the 490 that I paid for, there was only 252. Very unprofessional !

I needed a document notarized and sent out. The staff were very helpful and quick to ask how they could help as soon as I came in the door.
Employees have bad attitudes and theyre horribly understaffed for the week before Christmas. I had an email saying a pack was read for pickup and felt like I was inconveniencing them. Got the email that day and the employee said It wont be here the same day you get the notice. Went back a few days later after work and the line inside the store wrapped around almost back into itself and both employees had disgusted looks on their faces. This store sucks.
The young lady there was not very pleasant today. I kept my items to be shipped and took them to another store. Will not be going back to this store.
