I went back to 843 collective to see my hairstylist at the time, Heather, to get a second round for my balayage. I went back home and I thought my hair looked a little weird. The first picture is what I received after Heather did my balayage. I complained and was given the opportunity to get my hair redone by Rylie in the second picture is how it came out. I paid almost over 170 dollars for my balayage and that is what I received. I was very disappointed and the fact that I trusted someone with my hair and it’s still completely fried to this day. I am very thankful for Rylie and how great she did and fixing my hair to the best of her ability. Overall I am super disappointed that my hair is damaged and the quality I got for the price I paid. Seriously would reconsider going here

I was hesitant to not leave a review, but after seeing several others having the same problem with a particular person, I felt better to write one. Your Guest service specialist Amanda, I never felt comfortable being there when she is there. I’ve mentioned it to my stylists about her and my complaints about her and seemed scared to even say anything about it. Amanda is bossy, loud, rude and very pushy . It was nice to see other reviews of people having problems with her as well. Especially getting a phone call demanding I switch to a new stylist once mine left this past month. I probably would of, but it would make sick having to go there and hear and see Amanda in there. Somethings got to give with her.And your “response to training “ will not make the situation better. I love your stylist there, but the atmosphere since I started going there when you first opened in 2018 has really gone down hill . And this has nothing to do with Covid! It’s the people you hire. Justine, please make some changes. I’m not the only that feels this way about this person.

Go see Bailey at 843 Beauty Collective! Shes the best. I got my hair butchered at a chain shop (I wont say where). Someone suggested going to 843. I was lucky enough to get Bailey as my stylist and she not only fixed their giant mistake, she gave me a haircut that all my friends and family have been raving about. I have found my stylist for life! Cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Bailey :)

New customer here. Ive been to the salon twice... once for brows with Elise and once for highlights and a cut with Sydney. Both were professional and extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The other staff is also very personable and professional. Cant wait for my next appointments.

My 12 year old granddaughter was very anxious about getting her haircut. Her last experience, with a different salon was not good. So I read tons of reviews and 843 Beauty Collective stood out to me as a place I might be able to trust with my granddaughter. I made an appointment for her with Brooke.The design of the salon is on point. It has a modern/trendy/new kind of vibe. You want to get your hair done here. Brooke was so kind and gentle with my granddaughter. Brooke listened and did a fantastic job on the cut and blowout. I could not recommend 843 Beauty Collective and Brooke enough. She is an awesome stylist. Also, if you are anxious about finding a new salon. Look no further. This is the place.

It’s just starting to get really frustrating this past year of stylists leaving and having to change over to new ones. Sydney did a great job on my hair recently. But now I’m really starting to see the issue and why your stylists are dropping like flies there. Your front desk clerk Amanda is something else. She’s always butts in with whomever is doing my hair trying to give me suggestions on what to do. And she talks down and has attitudes with the other stylists there. I don’t see a license hanging up anywhere in there with her name on it.You need to get rid of her before your salon collapses and you loose more stylists and customers. I’m sorry, but I’m gonna follow Morgan on to where she’s at now.

I have been going here for several years now and each and every time I walk out of my appointments,I feel like a brand new person! I remember my first time getting my hair done with Justine and she took the time to listen to what I wanted my hair to look like and gave her advice and plans to getting my hair where I wanted it to be and I walked out of there feeling amazing! Then I landed on the chair of the miracle worker Brooke! I have stubborn gray hairs and she always takes care of that issue and so much more. When I get a hair cut with her it always grows out so beautifully. I get compliments about my hair even though it has been months since the last time I had my hair done with Brooke. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and helpful and if you come here you wont be disappointed! They have everything you could need to give yourself a confidence boost. Lauren is phenomenal, she did an amazing job on my hair! She listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me absolutely beautiful hair. Her job wasn’t easy as I had a completely botched haircut from a previous salon, but she managed to preserve the length while evening everything out and making it look great. I have never felt more confident about my hair. Jessie outdid herself. She took the time to talk me through the appointment. I would give it a 3.5-4 stars. I booked an appointment with Brionna for a simple haircut. She was a very sweet and kind lady, but I did not receive the haircut that I was expecting. I told her that I wanted about 3 inches cut off, just to my collarbone. I indicated exactly where I wanted it cut and how much hair I wanted off. She understood that I wanted it at my collarbone and we agreed to also doing light layers.The final result of my hair was not what I wanted. The cut was about 1-2 inches shorter than what I told her. My hair was barely touching my shoulders despite me asking for it to be at collarbone length, which is past my shoulders. I was not able to correct her on the length because she started cutting from the back of my head and then to the front.I think her being a Level 1 hairstylist might have something to do with her quality of work. She seemed to not remember the length that I asked for. She was also a bit rough when washing, brushing, and blow drying my hair.Overall, it was not terrible but I am not really happy with what I got. Besides the haircut, the place was very professional and every lady was very kind.

I have been a guest at 843 since March 2018 and have always been treated kindly by the staff and stylists! After about a year and a half as a client, I decided to become a stylist at the salon after being a men’s stylist for a couple years. Justine is a great boss and makes you feel comfortable as an employee and will work with you to meet your goals. I worked here for about six months but decided to change careers, but I just wanted to say being a worker and client is a great experience.

Only giving the star because I have too.My stylist ( who no longer works there) was amazing. She did exactly what I asked and excelled in exactly what I wanted.The front desk / manager lady whatever she does, ( Amanda I believe) Oh lawd. She is RUDE, ARROGANT, and OBNOXIOUS! About the only thing she’s good at is being loud and rolling her eyes. First of all when I’m sitting in the chair getting my hair done, don’t sit behind the desk talking about me or my hair OR my stylist. I hear everything and see everything. That is so unprofessional and disgusting. Second I had already talked to my stylist about what to do about keeping up with my color and after care, not to mention I’m pretty educated when it comes to hair care color etc. We had a plan. I do not need Amanda to sit there and lecture me about how to take care of my hair and what to use etc. after I already said “ I spoke to my stylist, she informed what to do already” not once but THREE times I had to say that. Way too pushy. Then when my stylist does quit ( which good for you girl 👏🏻) amanda reached out to me 3 weeks later about a confirmation for my previously scheduled appointment. I politely informed them my stylist does not work there and she bullied / pressured me into working with another stylist. And if I was more comfortable in the salon, I probably would have used another stylist. But I was not. And given the fact that the other employees/ stylists had already said to MY stylist before that they would never have done my hair the way I wanted, I’m glad I chose not to go back. You will not get my future recommendations nor will I be back. I hope you fix the atmosphere and the attitudes behind those walls. And maybe discuss with Amanda some customer service tips tricks and techniques, because honey you DONT got it.

I cant recommend this place enough! I had never let anyone color my hair until Brooke at 843 Beauty Collective and I have never been happier or received more compliments! Brooke is an amazing hair stylist who goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are satisfied! Even after I move 3 hours away, I will still be driving back to 843 Beauty so that Brooke can do my hair! All of the staff at 843 Beauty Collective are so friendly and accommodating and truly make the salon experience amazing! Highly, highly recommend this place and Brooke!

She was extremely professional, very detailed, and made me feel at ease in the chair the entire time. The results were amazing - I have never felt this good or confident about my hair. 10/10 recommend Jessie, and will absolutely be back again.

I was searching on Google this Morning to find someone who could do my daughters hair and beauty collective was the first to pop up!!! Im so glad I went with the first option. Of course I read some reviews and etc too. Anyhow Im very impressed how quick I was able to get an appointment (same day at that) beings how o was frantically looking beings how were leaving for Orlando next week!!! Anyhow our experience overall was AMAZING!!!! Go and see Tayna (I hope I spelled it right) shes absolutely wonderful Im every aspect! Very friendly, talented, knows her stuff and gives you EXACTLY what you ask for. My daughters last experience at her previous salon wasnt horrible but also wasnt very satisfying either. Tayna was able to match the EXACT Color my daughter wanted to Color swatch she chose. We didnt get a cut or style so I cant speak on that but Im sure shes AMAZING at that too! Not only was the stylist great but all the ladies in their was friendly as well and eager to help out! I failed to mention how clean and inviting thr atmosphere was too. I cant speak for everyone else but I know our experience was great and my daughter left with a big smile on her face! I think weve finally found our stylist!!! Well definitely be back!

I didnt know what style I wanted. I only knew I wanted my hair cut shoulder length or a little shorter. I told the stylist Brionna to work her magic and she went well above my expectations! I cant express enough how knowledgeable and professional she is. I have thick course hair. It went 3/4 down my back. I expected my hair to be poofy since its so thick, but it actually lays perfect without all the extra bulk. She also recommended the shampoo, conditioner, leave in product for heat and a dry shampoo. I am very pleased and will be going back in the near future.

I wish I could give this a zero instead of 1 star. While the stylists are great, the management and office staff are extremely unprofessional and lacking in customer service. My mother made an appointment for her granddaughters at the same time early afternoon and they all arranged their schedules to match, but the salon staff scheduled one for early afternoon and one for late evening. When we showed the receptionist the appointment card showing that both appointments were at the same time, they just kept repeating that they couldnt change their mistake. Instead of making it right, they refused to accommodate their error. Then, when my niece went in, they refused to color her hair stating that it was illegal to color someone under the age of 13 but there are no laws about this. To make matters worse, my mother asked if her grandson could eat (he is 5 years old) his snack, she was told yes, but then the manager came over and rudely said that he had to keep his mask on and couldnt eat, when the mandates around children wearing masks clearly state that kids that young dont have to. They dont answer their phone, and when we went in person to ask a manager to call us back, they didnt call until the appointment started. I would recommend you seek beauty services elsewhere, and I hope the talented stylists that work there find a place that showcases their talent instead of driving customers away.

I love the way Brooke cuts my hair. Everyone there is very friendly. They are also very on top of keep everything clean and sanitized.

In January I got my hair colored and cut by Brooke here and she did a wonderful job! Everybody here is so nice! They offer complimentary drinks and they do a wonderful job on hair! My hair looked and felt great the day it was done and still does! They really took care of me, my hair, and all of my needs!

I loved Brooke! She was the first person I ever trusted to color my hair. I believe it’s called a balayage? I got it rose gold and I’m in love!!! If you need color she’s the one!

Wouldnt recommend Heather to anyone. My wife recently had a cut and color done during which she asked repeatedly to have her hair cut shorter at which one point Heather said she couldnt cut it any shorter. Dont know if Heather just didnt understand what my wife was asking for or just didnt understand what she meant. Also thought the price charged was way over, almost double what weve paid a multiple over facilities.

I sporadically decided I wanted curtain bangs while in the chair with her snd she was so cool with it! She’s super laid back! Keeping clients updated through several platforms and making a concerted effort to rebook those that missed appts due to the shutdown, and now opening the salon with every precaution necessary while maintaining their previous level of service and customer experience. Do not ever get your eyebrows done here. They scheduled me for a brow wax with a hairstylist named Taylor who clearly has no business doing brows. When I called to schedule the appointment they did not bother to tell me that the aesthetician wasn’t available and that my appointment would be with someone who does not know what they are doing. She took out chunks of my eyebrow and did not even bother to apologize or admit that she made a mistake till I pointed out how obviously hideous they look. Will definitely not be returning.

I doesn’t matter who I get my hair done by, it’s great every time. I get great customer service at the front desk area too. I enjoy the option to have a beer while I’m there, and the Redken Brews products I’ve purchased have done great on my beard and hair. Most recently, Brooke cut my hair and gave me a great fade. But like I said, everyone does an awesome job.

Great experience!I went in for icy blonde, my roots had grown out several inches and my bright blonde had faded. I was paired up with stylist Heather. She was very sweet from the get go! Took her time, didn’t rush things and was very patient with the process. During my experience, before even blow drying, she noticed an error and politely asked me to stay and let her fix it which I really did appreciate. She didn’t pretend to overlook it or ignore the problem but instead, stayed late to help. The next morning I noticed my root area seemed more brassy than I had intended. I messaged heather and she was VERY quick to respond and give me a complimentary Retone within two days along with a complimentary deep condition. I was not upset with any of the mistakes but instead extremely grateful for her willingness to help and correct with a kind and patient attitude! Heather is so sweet and my end result was exactly what I wanted! Thank you!

Beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and super clean salon! Was in town from San Diego, and got an appointment set for facial and pedicure with Elise, the resident esthetician. No lie, this is the best pedicure I’ve had in 5 years!! Elise took care of every single rough spot and winter crack on my heels. My feet haven’t been this healthy ever. During the facial, Elise’s 10+ years of experience was super evident with her expertise and gentle approach to my skin. She knows exactly which course of action to take to heal skin from inside and out and now 1 month later still no break outs. Got the full skin and product routine written down. Thanks for the total spa day from head to foot!

I rarely leave reviews (okay, sometimes when Im relentlessly prompted but this is NOT one of those) but let me tell you, 843 Beauty Collective is Heaven to me. Katie has been doing my hair for about 6 months now and for the first time in my life, I am IN LOVE with my hair. She is a miracle worker. Elise does my brows and shes the most incredible human ever and literally turns me from Chewbacca to...well, not Chewbacca, every four weeks. She spends so much time ensuring I dont leave until theyre perfection. I will be starting with facials soon and am so confident in Elise and her talents that I cant wait to see what she does! And, lets not forget Courtney. Courtney, among other things, works the front desk and is always such a delight. Legitimately, she makes my day 100% better every time I go in there. In short, even if youre not accustomed to pampering, give them a shot and you might just fall in love with it.

It took me months to finally get my hair done and Im so glad I chose 843 Beauty Collective! Justine is amazing, knowledgeable, and talented. I went on a Saturday and was given mimosas! This is a fantastic salon that I would recommend to anyone!

The atmosphere was great and the stylist was very friendly. Ill be going back for sure.

Justine is not only unbelievably kind she is also the BEST stylist who has ever worked on my hair. Im always falling behind on getting my hair / roots recolored, and when Im able to fit it into my crazy life/schedule she never disappoints in taking my brown roots to a platinum blonde.

This is to compliment Katie she really did a great job on my hair. It was totally stressed out after having an operation and strong and Im antibiotics it was like straw.
