They are amazing here! Everyone who works here is so pleasant. All of their horses are rescues. Its a delight to ride them in such a beautiful area! If you are looking for horseback riding... THIS is the place to do it! We will definitely be back, even if its just to visit the people and the horses!

Beautiful experience. A must for any local or tourist. Our guides were amazing, friendly, and full of information about Arizona. The horses were clean and taken care of. They love their horse. I highly recommend this experience to everyone.

I took 5 10 & 11 year old girls to ride to celebrate my daughters birthday. All of the girls - from first time rider to experienced cowgirl (the birthday girl) had a fantastic time! :)The guides were patient - and with five tween girls that were loudly screaming/singing in the car at the top of their lungs when we pulled up - that was no small feat! LOLThey did a great job of matching up each horses temperament and riding experience with each girl and her comfort level of being on a horse, and putting us in an order that allowed a little giddy up for the skilled girls in the front while keeping things slow and steady for the first time girls in the back.They stopped our group at the top for a water break and used our phones to take fantastic group and individual photos, helping us to commemorate a day they will never forget!Taking out of town guests on a trail ride is one of our favorite activities, and weve been using a different stable in the past, but we will plan to only ride with your outfit in the future! The customer service, from start to finish, was exceptional!

I cannot recommend the sunset ride highly enough. You simply can’t beat the views and you can tell the staff takes so much pride in both the rescue horses and rider experience. Whether it’s your 1st or 100th ride, I can promise it’s a ride you won’t forget! Also, make sure to get to know your horse! They are all rescues and have such incredible stories, and the fact there are places like Corral West Horse Adventures that rescues these amazing horses from kill pens and gives them a second chance is worthy of a 10 star review! I can’t wait to return and ride with Corral West again!

Staff was great! They were enthusiastic and patient! The horses had sweet dispositions. I took my seven-year-old and she had a fabulous time! Well be coming back again for sure.

I attended Corral West Horse Adventures open house night at the last minute and I was glad I did. The ranch was full of activities and everyone was having a great time. Caitlin was able to squeeze me in last minute on a sunset trail ride. The wrangler who led us was named Austin and he was wonderful, friendly, and loud of enough for anyone to here him on the trail. My horse was a wonderful little mare, and the others had great horses too. The ranch does some amazing work turning rescues into trail horses. The wranglers are all fantastic with kids, the ranch dogs are friendly, and if you have never ridden before....no worries! The wranglers will take great care of you, give you instructions before you ride, and fit you to a horse that works for your comfort level. They explain how to turn, stop, what to do, what not to do, and what to look out for. They really know their horses and they really know how to deliver on customer service. I enjoyed the open house and I am looking forward to their next big event called Heroes and Horses Bash to benefit veterans in February. Thank you all at Corral West Horse Adventures for such a delightful evening!!!

The first impression is that this place is pretty old and run down. However, the staff is fantastic! The horses are well taken care of and so gentle.

Two pieces of advice: book your ride directly (NOT Groupon) and know that Corral West is SEASONAL. All is stated on their website. Who would ride a horse in 120°F anyway? Terrible.I was in Phoenix back in February for a job assignment and decided to book a ride after the job was finished. I had a great time in the saddle and had a good afternoon to clear my head of “work mode.” Tiffany was our guide. She was friendly, sweet, and professional. I would totally come back here again. Cait is a badass and I’m impressed with how hard she’s worked to get this business to where it is today. Thanks!

What a pleasure it was to meet the staff! Eveyone was engaging and really have whats best for rider and horse in mind! My Grandaughter and I spent an hour and a half on the trail with Jeb who was fun to chat with and learn from! He did a pretty amazing job adjusting my stirrups and saddle along the way! Will definetly use them again for any out of town visitors who are up for an adventue!

I had the best trail ride yesterday with Corral West Horse Adventures that Ive had in a long time. Everything about the ride was perfect. My assigned horse, Rojo, was responsive and gentle. Our guide, Jeannie, was funny, informative and kept great care of both riders and horses. The wrangler, John, was kind to us and the horses. We all felt well-cared for. Each of the horses was in great shape and happy. We rode for an hour through the Sonoran desert up to a hilltop. There we had an hour break (outhouse provided) while we ate sack lunches wed brought. The lunches were transported by truck so we were able to send them in coolers. We had the option to ride in the truck back to the ranch or retrace our trail by horse. Everyone had so much fun riding, we all elected to ride back. Several in our group were brand new riders, but by the time they got back they were as relaxed and happy as the experienced riders. I wouldnt have changed a thing. The pricing was lower than the typical trail rides around Phoenix, and the value way higher. I highly recommend Corral West Horse Adventures and will be bringing my family later this spring.

Most amazing place not only was our riding experience awesome thanks to Alex...the trail, scenery weather today was grand! Saw a rainbow had somw lite showers.Im already going back with family members soon.Out in the estrella hills it was truly cool.Goose my gray horse was fun to ride.This place and these people rescue horses.You just feel the love.Alex worked closely with the riders explained how to ride and was very enjoyable spending time with.I want to gallop through the path now instead of walking.LolTotally recommend the experience to new riders and just anyone that loves horses or outdoors.Looking forward to seeing Goose and being apart of supporting this wonderful place.

We had the most amazing experience here. We went on a morning ride and our guide/owner was fantastic. He was helpful and knowledgeable and made this an experience we will not soon forget. We had a fantastic time here! Jeannie was absolutely wonderful and my daughter fell in love with Guinness the thoroughbred. Jeannie was knowledgeable, fun, and really went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. We can’t wait to go back again!

Corral West Horse adventures is the best place to go trail riding in Arizona. We loved our guide Sean. He was so helpful and knowledgeable giving us tips for riding and a real excellent overall experience. Sean is an amazing guide.The horses are well cared for and well trained. Spent the day celebrating my daughters’ 11th birthday riding with Corral West Horse Adventures the White Tanks Location! The guides were incredible, so helpful, patient, fun and even took photos! The horses were special and the 7 girls we took spent the w tire day talking about how amazing it way! Thank you Alex, Danny, Brad and Pam ...oh and of course Pepper for an amazing experience...cannot wait to go back!

If I am correct in assuming the Corral West Arena is referring to the big stadium that rise above the parking lot and gives the view of their corrals, then this is a 5 star spot. Ive gone here to cool-down after a hike on the Rainbow Valley trail, etc. The views are nice from the bleachers. You can see the horses and since youre sitting high up, you also get the benefit on a nice breeze going through on late afternoon/ evenings.

This is the kind of company I really love to support. First off, they’re rescuing horses who would otherwise be put down. They’re even saving mistreated horses and bringing them back to life. I love their mindset that no horse is too far gone. That being said, they do all they can to ensure rider safety. They work hard with the horses before they come into contact with the public, and they offer incredibly beautiful trail rides. I cannot say enough how wonderful this company is!

Pros: Convenient access from the city, money goes to rescue horses from going to the slaughter house, Cons: Kinda boring as trail rides go (hour walk over a desert trail) but this was AZ so youre kinda limited. Is it with $50/hour/person? Well, for kids...

This place is great! We did the hour and a half sunset ride. The scenery is pretty! My husband and I are inexperienced riders, but the staff was very informative and made us feel comfortable riding. They were super friendly and let us see and pet the other horses on the property. It was a good time!

Corral West Adventures is a great facility! They offer beautiful scenic trail rides and have wonderful customer service. Caitlin is a genuinely kind person who cares for her animals and customers! 5 stars for Corral West Adventures!

I just parked her to mountain bike, so pretty nice lot and bathroom for that. The arena looks real nice for equestrians.

We went on a one hour sunset ride guided by Hunter. Our group of eight ranged from 8 to 58, and everyone had a great experience. The horses were well trained to trail riding. If you are looking for more autonomy and control, it may not be to your liking, but for a group who seldom rides, or kids with little or no experience, it was perfect. Id recommend the sunset time - we saw one other rider the whole time (another guide headed out as we returned). We saw coyotes in the distance, and the temperature at dusk was comfortable.

Super cool! Location had to be switched due to the weather. We ended up having to be late. We called to let them know and they were very understanding. We got there and everything was ready to go. Our guide (Im so sorry! I forgot her name! It was for sure along the lines of Kinsey or Kinsley) was awesome! She made it fun and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend!

This was one of the best days of my vacation. Our guide Jeannie Hatfield was the best you could ask for. We have riden at other places but this was hands down THE BEST! Horses were very well trained and maintained. The scenery will leave you speechless. I will do this again for sure.

Amazing! Great customer service and so welcoming and kind. My 13 year old wanted to take friends out on horses for her birthday and they all went above and beyond to make it special for her and her friends. They accommodated each of the riders levels, took great pictures of the girls on the horses and truly made them all feel safe and comfortable. The ride was beautiful and the wrangler was awesome!! You won’t be disappointed!!

I can’t express how happy I am we found this place! The team here is absolutely amazing and you can see the real passion and love they have for their horses. You can tell the horses are well taken care of and very well trained. The staff here are so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable and welcome and are just a pleasure to be around. I found them online almost two weeks ago and I have been there 3 times already now for riding. We love it here so much I decided to start riding lessons with Jeannie for my daughter! I can’t say enough good things about this place! Oh and the pricing, cheapest I’ve found for the quality experience You receive is unbeatable

We really enjoyed our trail ride here. The scenery was fantastic, the horses were sweet and well cared-for, and our guide, Jeannie, was wonderful! Our kids, 7 and 9, want to go again as soon as possible! The price was very reasonable, too, compared to other trail rides we’ve done. Highly recommended!

Amazing adventure for beginners! Gennie Lee was very knowledgeable and taught our kids the basics before riding out into the sunset... The 6 of us (2 adults & 4 kids- ages 9-13) enjoyed the scenery and horses who were very gentle and responsive... We are all beginners... We also had Madison- a 6th grade volunteer who was helping train the other horses... they also have rescue horses you can observe... Gennie Lee is very enthusiastic and caring about her horses and it shows! Thanks for the amazing pics and memories! Also thanks for letting us borrow the cowboy hats and boots!

We did a Sunside ride (~1 hour) in March, weather was perfect and the views were great. Our guide was very friendly and the horses know their way around the trails. We had a 1st time rider in our group who also enjoyed the ride. If you like horseback riding or if youve always wanted to try, I highly recommend Corral West!

My girlfriend and I went on a sunset horseback ride just before Valentines Day and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly and the horses were well-behaved and easy to ride, even with minimal previous experience with horses. I definitely recommend!

Im not usually a fan of giving bad reviews I usually think that you can talk to the owner or person in charge and kind of work it out I like to give good reviews unfortunately this one is not very good at all.. it started on Sunday morning with me wanting to use my Groupon because the weather was beautiful it was May 20th and the Groupon was good until June...the website said they were open from 9 am until 6pm so I phoned to see if reservation was needed.. a voicemail message told me they I reached Coral West adventures and that they were closed until October.. I wanted more info like when they had closed and if this was true since as I have stated previously I had to Groupon that was good until June. I sent them an email and waited about an hour and a half with no answer I called back two more times on the second time A man answered the phone and said what. I proceeded to tell him the situation about Groupon and if they were really closed.. he interrupted me and asked mecan I talk now then he proceeded to ask me if I listen to the voicemail which stated they were closed and told me rudely that they were not affiliated with Groupon there is separate entity and that I should call them.. all of this information I understand but what I dont understand is why he treated me so rudely like I was doing him such a disservice I also dont understand why they couldnt put a short paragraph on the website stating the dates they will be closed from and to. unfortunately I will not be trying this place again it bums me out
