This is a very nice gymn. And the staff is very fun and positive to work with. They make coming to this gym something to look forward to. Youll love the googley eyes they have placed over the check in desk. There are small easy to access lockers but they do not have phone charger ports in them. The black card membership RELAXATION room is different. You need to ccheck in with your card on a computer scheduler, then get confirmation from an employee then go to your machine. There is a LONG delay time so get to your assigned machine and settle infor a wait. Right when you think it is not going to work, it turns on. I do llike how you can have control of the lighting.I thought it was great that the tredmills had plastic barriorsbetween each machine. The bathrooms were clean although the showers were smaller than what I was used to. I did like that they had 2 sizes of dressing rooms there too.I would highly reccoment stopping by this gym if you are in the area. I also enjoyed having a protein dring from the fridge when I left. They just had to scan my member ship card to charged it to my account.What was weird was there there were no VETERANS reserved parking at this location. But there was handicap parking right agains the building. the there were many No Motorcycles signs posted around the front of the gym.Being located at the very end of the shopping plaza the planet fitness parking lot felt reserved specially just for us gym people. It was peaceful. Desert wild life could be seen and there is a beautful view of the mountains around the side. I really like this gym.

Im impressed with how easy it was to sign up with Planet Fitness. I signed up online, downloaded the app, created a profile, and just scanned my phone when I went to work out. There was no pressure to do a one on one workout with a trainer, something that has burned me in the past. I just went in and had a great workout in peace. 100% would recommend!

PF has made it their mission to make men and women of all shapes and sizes feel comfortable & jazzed about integrating gym workouts into their life routine. It is truly a judgment free zone! Can’t get that in very many places these days! Love it!!

PF in Goodyear is a great place for a relaxed atmosphere to do your workout. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can plug in your earphones right into the machines to hear your selection of many TVs or like me I use Bluetooth headphones to my phone. Lots and lots of machines to work out on. I stopped going to gyms years ago because of Ballys that roped me into a contract and wouldnt let me out, left a bad taste for me. Due to knee issues and PT is expensive so glad I gave PF a try with the month to month no commitment and couldnt be happier with them! If you are gun shy like I had been due to bad gym experiences in the past, you can do a one day free pass with PF to see if they are a good fit for you, like me you will probably sign up same day.

Always clean and maintained. They have a variety of great quality equipment and a friendly staff. I enjoy my workouts every time I come in, they definitely make it easier for me to stay in shape.

I really like that you guys put individualized plastic guards around all of the treadmills. Even if the pandemic ceased to exist, I think they should stay up because it offers another layer of protection for members. I also really like the app functions like easy check-in and the crowd meter. Finally, I like the fact that we get to pick our time slots for the black card services and all of the enhanced cleaning measures too. Because of this pandemic, there are several people, including myself, who find themselves feeling social anxiety and all of the enhanced cleaning really helps ease some of that anxiety. I notice that every negative experience here is answered with the same generic response of “sorry to hear that. Please talk to someone at the desk about it. We care about you.” It’s a joke.There is never a resolution. This company doesn’t care about anything but making money and if you dare talk about your negative experience, they’re quick to censor your comment or make it look like you’re “one of the few” complainers. Don’t waste your money here, anyone. I won’t share my negative experience because there’s no point and I don’t care to see a generic robotic response. You’ll see for yourself eventually and when you do, good luck canceling if and when you decide to! They’ve lost 11 of my family/employees and counting because of my experience here.Do the math. They have a really difficult cancellation system. tried to cancel and 4 months later they charged me again .it took me 4 more months of calling and emailing and a full 3 payments later to finally have them cancel my account and stop taking payments.Update: and yes the contract states that we need to provide WRITTEN notice DELIVERED in person OR by certified mail to the club address listedThat just shows you how difficult their process is! AND they say they record calls but when someone told me they were going to stop my payments because of Covid and I said GOOD because I was meaning to call and cancel my membership and they said okay No Worries! Never did they advise me to send this information through mail.And by the time they started charging me again a few months later I no longer lived in the area to go in person.THEN I called and was told I had to EMAIL THE MANGER TO CANCELAND SO I email the manager and receive NO response.AND THEN I GET CHARGED AGAIN!AND THEN Finally I CALL AGAIN AND they said cause I email before they will cancel through the phone....They messed with my finances and my time. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

NO HOT WATER!! If you plan on showering here don’t expect a hot shower. The lady at the front was very kind when I informed her and said it’s been an issue for a long time now. Otherwise the facility is very clean and they appeared to be adhering to state regulations.

Your staff is great. Super helpful and willing to take the time to explain how everything works. Definitely committed to keeping the equipment wiped down and clean. I appreciate that, as I use the tanning booth and total body enhancement regularly.

I got this membership because the $10 was very appealing to me. Its a very basic gym and is great for someone who is new to fitness/for anyone who hates going to gyms filled with Bros. The $10 is month to month and you can cancel whenever. As far as the equipment is concerned they have all the machines a regular gym would have MINUS: SQUAT RACK, & BENCH PRESSES. They do have a free weight section that includes dumbbells up to 60 lbs I believe and the smaller barbells along with ez curl bars. The cardio equipment is very user friendly (nothing fancy) and their entire cardio section includes big TVs for you to look up at. One thing to keep in mind is that you cant carry your bag around with you so it must be left in the locker room. You will need to bring your own lock or leave your valuables at home or in the car. Also, if you dont feel comfortable getting dressed/undressed in front of others in the locker room they have dressing rooms across from the three showers.

Not nearly as clean as other planet fitnesses in the area. Also the women’s showers were extremely cold while the men’s were fine. These need fixing!

Great staff and clean place. My favorite part is the red light therapy room when you are in the VIP black card. Plus the hydro massages and tan booth.Amanda is one of the friendliest staff members in the Goodyear, AZ location. Always has a friendly smile and talks to everyone in a welcoming tone and smile.

I couldnt even work out. There is Zero hot water for a preshower. Friendly staff...no water to shower. Super bummer waste of time. Its 108° outside and no one should work out without a shower.

Equipment its great

I love the atmosphere of regular people just doing their thing. The locker room is amazing; the water refill station is so helpful; the machinery is clean and easy to use. The staff are super helpful without an ounce of pressure and they say hello and goodbye which makes it feel like you just went to a friends house. I love it!

This gym is a little smaller than most PF Gyms, but its a stand alone facility. Very well kept and hot showers

Just needs to open same time as the rest near by. I will now have to drive extra 15 minutes because not opening until 6 am. Others are 4 am. I have to work at 6 am, no time after to workout. Very disappointed in hours during this time since should be 24 hours like before.

Its because the facility is no fuss, no muss that I continue to frequent it. Also people tend to leave you alone so you can workout.

Clean, convenient and helpful

Ive been going to this PF as a regular for about 18 months now. This is, by far, my favorite PF location (Ive been to many throughout the country). The staff is friendly, professional, and responsive to anything you ask for. You consistently see them moving around to clean and re-stock consumables in both the locker rooms and on the workout floor. Some of the employees have been there longer than I have, which goes to show that there must be a certain amount of pride at this location. Overall, Im very please and I will continue to come here, despite the new Buckeye location that recently opened (closer to my house). Keep up the good work!

The place is very clean and not all machines can be used for the purposes of social distancing. I have been happy since I started working out at this location earlier this week.

Always enjoy coming here! The staff is very friendly. They greet you when you come in, and acknowledge when you’re leaving. The only annoying things I can pick out just from going here a lot, is that sometimes you have to wait a while to check in because they’re signing someone up. I wish there was a faster way to just scan and check in without having to wait in a line. And the other thing would have to do with the 30 min circuit room... it’s not specifically a complaint with the gym itself because I love using that room. However the guests that also use it, don’t use it correctly. You’re meant to go from station to station on their red light, green light system. But some people just go in and use one piece of equipment and then it can mess up your workout if you’re trying to go in order. I wish there was a little more surveillance on that area.Overall, best gym I’ve been a memeber to!

Sincerely disappointed by the communication from this particular location. Was charged just 1 day after closing out my membership. Felt a little bit wrong in the world we live in right now, considering all the hoops were jumped through in order to cancel the contract I had.

I love the massage chairs. I’m actually sitting in one now. The facility is always clean and there is never anything other than Positivity coming from Planet Fitness Goodyear. More importantly than that, actually it’s the most important factor is the staff. I’ve always, ALWAYS had excellent experiences with the people that work here!

I decided to join Planet fitness because wanting to lose weight and reverse my diabetes. Love the machines there and the trainer, Veronica, has been working with me. Staff, very nice too.

Everyone’s nice here until you have to cancel your membership. I went in yesterday to cancel and they completely changed their tune. I will never come back as a member.

I love working out at PF. I feel more relax and its not a pick up joint or muscle heads hogging all of the free weights. Such a nice atmosphere than most other gyms. Not too mention after a hard workout, I go on the lounge chair for a relaxing hydromassage!

Great service and never full

Been a member for the last two years.I enjoy exercising there. They have a good distribution of equipment, so there usually isnt much wait time. They also have knowledgeable personal trainers available. Its a good place for a self motivated person who prefers to work out alone rather than in a class.

I love getting my workout on here. Nobody bothers me and I feel accomplished afterwards.

I love that the staff is so friendly and welcoming. It was a big step to join Planet Fitness and Chase told me not to be intimidated before I even went on a tour. I was sold after seeing just how genuine everyone was and that it is truly a Judgement Free Zone. I was not planning to work with a trainer but Felipe has been the best part of my fitness journey. He is knowledgeable, encouraging, funny and knows just how much to push me. My workouts are now the highlight of my days and I love seeing my body tone and my muscles develop! Finally, I love that I am greeted by name by many of the staff, and with a smile from everyone. Overall, Planet Fitness is a great value and a great place to be!

Very nice clean gym. I do have one confusion. In the bathrooms they have air dryers to reduce all the paper going in landfills. Good on you PF. However that is extremely counteracted by having all of the paper towel stations throughout the gym, that produces way more paper waste than the air dryers save. My suggestion is maybe try looking into small towels that each member can use while there and have a company come pick up and wash the towels, that may be more green also it might offset the cost for all those trash bags and paper towels. However that is just a suggestion.

Was a member. I cancelled my membership due to on my app it said I had no renewal fee then all of a sudden $42 came out of my bank account. Come on I pay $25 a month. Was never told I also have an annual fee. When I went to Planet Fitness to ask for a manager the response is oh he just clocked out, no manager on till tomorrow Not happy at all

Has everything you need. Front desk was polite and professional. I went on a day pass and it was a breeze. I didn’t have to listen to a sales pitch or take an unwanted gym tour 🙌🏻

Visited this location 3 times in 5 days. All staff members were very friendly, helpful, kind and professional. Standard equipment. Overall clean environment. Lost a star due to the lack of cleanliness in the showers. First shower temperature control was broken all 5 days. Second shower had hair on the floor and drain all 3 visits. A used bandaid was on the floor all 3 visits. If the staff were not so friendly thus would only rate 2 stars.

Ive been a member at several gyms and by far I enjoy Planet Fitness the most I feel much more comfortable at PF like there is no judgement the staff is so friendly the gym is always clean and they have all the equipment you would need or want and more. We love it here. The spa options are awesome. The air flow and tv selections are perfect. I do wish there were fans in the smaller room area. Just a small fan in the corner would be great.

I just moved Goodyear and signed up for this gym seeing as it just opened up; worked out with trainer Rich- awesome guy, knows his stuff and keeps you motivated. Great atmosphere, clean equipment, and dank music; keep it up!

Great gym..but they need a door for the entrance to the womens bathroom and showers. Too open access which is scary. And must supply toilet seat covers.

I was in Goodyear for work and had some sessions with Rich. He is a very knowledgeable, kind and funny guy. The gym is great, very clean and the members and staff are very nice.

It is clean, friendly and the red light therapy and water massage chairs are the best!
